Marigold Hotel

This was a lovely hotel in a great, quiet location. The room was very comfortable and well equipped although noise from other rooms from time to time was a bit disturbing. The breakfast needed to be ordered the day before however that was fine - it was always delicious and filling. All the staff were exceptionally nice and helpful.

Excellent stay! The hotel was spotless, the staff was incredibly welcoming (special shoutout to Rosemary for her extremely enthusiastic attitude), and the amenities exceeded expectations. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. The hotel is inside an alley, so it is difficult for me to navigate at first, but otherwise, it is quite close to most major attractions. We felt truly cared for and can’t wait to return. I also love the small Christmas tree in the lobby. Highly recommended!

I was so lucky to have found such a great hotel for my first visit to Vietnam Hanoi. My partner and I stayed there for 5 nights. Such great location and friendly and welcoming staffs, spacious room and great facilities, you'll get much more than you pay for. I'll recommend this place 120%. Here's the list that I personally appreciated. *Quiet environment, I didn't get bothered by any noise at all! ( if this is your first stay in Vietnam, you probably don't have any idea how noisy streets can be. Car horns constantly blare like 24/7 especially in busy areas which will be absolutely annoying. ) *Friendly staffs with great English fluency *Location, walking distance to the Old Quoter, main street, shops and cafes *Clean spacious room that comes with everything I needed *Stable hot shower with good water pressure *Breakfast which you can choose from about 20 menus, both Vietnamese and English breakfast are available *Breakfast that's freshly home made with a cup of coffee / tea and yogurt and fruits *Card key doors *the elevator Basically it's the best of both worlds as to the accessibility to the downtowns and the nice quiet environment. Thank you so much for making our stay even more wonderful and pleasant. Highly recommend!

Excellent service under my expectation

Environment: It is in an alley where cars cannot drive in, which is very inconvenient. Moreover, it is surrounded by a wholesale market and there are many unloading vehicles, which can easily cause traffic jams. The location is between Ba Dinh Square and Hoan Kiem Lake, but it's actually very awkward. It costs about 10 yuan to take a taxi on both sides, and you can't walk. It is very close to a local Dong Xuan market, but this is a wholesale market, the grade is very low, and buying specialty products is not cheap.
Facilities: Domestic budget hotel standards, don't expect too much, there are slippers for bathing, but no disposable slippers, overall it's okay. But the weird thing is that there is a door in the room. The front desk said it is locked, and there is a wall behind it, but it still feels extremely weird;
Service: Generally speaking, one is provided in the morning. Two breakfasts should be provided, but I am reluctant to give them because I live alone. The look in my eyes makes me feel uncomfortable, but the front desk service is okay.
Hygiene: The best thing is hygiene, very clean

There are a lot of food nearby and the transportation is convenient. The main thing is that it is a bit remote and it is difficult for the driver to find it. Everything else is good.

Clean and nice 3* hotel in the north of Hoan Kiem, friendly staff, recommended.

The environment is very nice, and the breakfast is delicious. Especially the guy at the front desk is very nice and will answer questions patiently. The hotel is in the old quarter of Hanoi, convenient for shopping.
