Phu Quoc Kim 2 Beach Front Resort in Phu Quoc Island

Popped in for breakfast on the terrace. Wonderful with great views of Cambodia in the distance. Felt like a truly relaxing spot.

The review is commenting on the restaurant only - we did not stay here but at the next door resort. We came here for every meal (including breakfast) during our stay. The staff and food were fantastic. Fresh and made to order if needed. Kim is a hardworking lady that delivers her food with a smile. If you are staying here or nearby - make this a place to have a meal. They can do some western dishes as well

Very friendly, family-run, small, low-key resort with the clear blue sea just one step from bungalow. Perfect (for Vietnam) snorkling spot and walking trails, good cuisine, affordable prices. They have nice pool either!

A fantastic hotel so close to the the Golf of Thailand that you can taste it. It is a beautiful hotel owned by a beautiful little family. Every familymember is part of the Crew and works there. The owner is well versed in english and vietnamese which made everything fantastically smooth. The rooms provide everything you need. A big bed, couch, ac, fridge and quite large bathroom. Each room also has a small veranda with a light and setting area in front. The hotels breakfast was fantasic. Fresh fruit from the garden and a great choice of proper meals. Even the lunch and dinner options were great. If i will come back to phu quoc Island will stay here 100% again.

A little pearl of a hotel
Nestled in a small cove on the northern coast this little gem was super! The staff was extremely helpful and the facilities were nice. We had an enjoyable stay. The breakfast is alo catering to westeners, with plenty to choose from on the menu. We ate at the hotel, mostlys out of comfort as the restaurants around were a bit to walk to, but a very varied menu made it a pleasure. Cook was excellent!

I liked everything. There are places to walk. The accommodation was comfortable.

We didn't stay at the hotel but we did eat in the restaurant about 4 times. Kim and her husband Le are excellent hosts. They have a menu in English which is a great help and Kim and her husband speak reasonable English. The quality and preparation of the food was perfect. It was also lovely to sit by the sea and eat dinner. All in all a brilliant experience. Many thanks.

What a lucky find! Everything about my 5-night stay at Kim 2 was perfect: sea facing bungalow; the small beach is perfect for swimming; the beds are comfortable with mosquito net provided; the pool is at a good temperature and kept clean; the food is amazing - freshly cooked with quality local ingredients. But what makes this place really special is the family who run it. Thank you for a very special stay in your slice of paradise!

This family-run beach resort is a little paradise. As a solo traveler, I often feel overlooked in favor of couples and families, but the warm and attentive hospitality of the family running this resort made me feel genuinely welcome and cared for. Being a light sleeper, I appreciated how they worked with me to find the quietest room, which was incredibly heartwarming. I even upgraded to a bungalow by the sea, where I could sleep with the soothing sound of the waves. The breakfast was outstanding, offering a variety of Western and Asian dishes. Many of the ingredients were organic and homemade, including fruits from their own garden and jams crafted from their harvest. My favorite was the banana pancake with homemade jam and a refreshing mango juice! There were always plenty of free lounge chairs around the pool and in the garden, perfect for relaxing with a book. The private beach, though very small, boasts stunning views, and the swimming pool was just the right temperature—not too cold, making it very inviting. While the resort is only a 15-minute walk to the village's main street with small shops and restaurants, the food at their own restaurant was delicious, so I rarely felt the need to venture out. This resort provided the perfect blend of tranquility, excellent food, and heartfelt hospitality, making it a truly special place to stay. During my 4-night stay, my room was not cleaned at all. Perhaps guests need to request cleaning, which I didn’t do. However, it would have been nice if some cleaning had been done automatically.

This place is beautiful. The beach and water are great and so is the pool. The rooms are good, comfy bed, hot showers and good aircon .What really makes this place special is the own and his wife. They are very special people who will do anything they can to make your stay the best. The food in the resturant is always good , and many guests from other resorts visit the resturant. We visited this area before Kim 2 was built and the owners have made an excellent job of building this resort. I wish Bin and Kim , mum and thier family all the best and thank you for a great stay.
