Viet Thanh Resort in Phu Quoc Island

My wife and I stayed here for a couple days and overall the experience was wonderful.

The staff are very sweet and personable if you take a moment to stop and chat. Particularly, we made friends with the woman at the front desk who was very helpful and nice to us.

The location itself is good. It’s close to a lot of things on the island, and of course it’s right on beach which is the main selling point.

The beach was kind of dirty the first day but it got cleaned up the next day. I don’t think that anyone really has control of that. Sometimes trash turns up on the beach in Phu quoc all over the island. We saw the same thing even on the most acclaimed beaches we visited during our stay.

The room itself was clean and well kept. Nothing fancy but it was sufficient and had everything you need.

One of the best things in my opinion is the fact that they rent motorbikes. This was by far one of the most fun things we did during our stay. It’s a practical way to get around which allows you the freedom from relying on taxis or grab. Just make sure you’re comfortable driving because it can get wild on the road! Be safe out there!

If you’re looking for an high end luxury resort this probably isn’t the place for you. It’s a locally owned small business that does their best and gives you a decent value for your money. They don’t have room service or housekeeping that comes and cleans up multiple times a day. But, it’s safe, quiet, and modest place right on the ocean where you can relax and enjoy yourself.

A small budget hotel on the first line. Cozy and quiet, a lot of cafes, shops and a supermarket King Kong nearby. Spacious rooms, the room has everything you need: air conditioning, fan, refrigerator, TV, hair dryer, hot water. Breakfasts are a la carte, if you need a buffet and variety for breakfast, then this is not the hotel for you. Private beach with sun loungers, sun loungers and umbrellas. The beach is rocky, but you can move 30-50 meters to the side and there will be clean sand. The girls at the reception always responded promptly to our requests. Overall, we liked it. The hotel is suitable for not too demanding tourists who want to relax, swim and sunbathe.

I can’t recommend this place enough. Very good value. Right on the beach. The bungalow rooms are large and well appointed with balconies overlooking the lush well maintained absolutely beautiful gardens. The restaurant is right over the water with fabulous sunset views. Extensive well priced menu.

A wonderful vacation.The room is acceptable and nice view. The private beach was well maintained and clean. The breakfast was good and a lot of option, the food for lunch and dinner were good also. The staff were helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back!

The resort is very quiet, nice, beautiful, warm welcome and relaxing, the quality of the food is excellent, the service was good and varied. Our room was big balcony and nice sea view. Private beach was so nice with sunset, we spent all time on sunchair.
