Lovely pool area, clean and attentive staff, some building work going on near the sea - but looked almost finished

Hotel was clean, room and bathroom spacious and staff attentive. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. The hotel is situated on a fairly busy road not far from the beach. The beach bar and sun loungers were excellent

The beach had very comfortable sunbeds and plenty of umbrellas available for guests, however they do not provide beach towels. There is also a lovely pool area at the hotel

They even upgraded our room to one with a balcony, which was such a nice surprise and made our stay even more enjoyable. The bar at the beach is amazing — great atmosphere and stunning views

The room we had in this hotel was quite small, but there was a small balcony with a table and 2 chairs to sit outside, which was a nice seating area. The bathroom was quite small, but was adequate for showering, etc

Juli, the waitress, and all the staff members was absolutely lovely and took great care of us every day with their kind and professional service. The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented

The private beach area was a great bonus, making it easy to enjoy the sun and sea. Overall, a fantastic experience—I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be coming back!

Would have been 5 star but few little niggles to share in the hope they can be corrected for others. As early in season none of the swimming pools were open. Again when asked when due to be open very vague responses

It's a clever solution that each room has an assigned umbrella, making beach days hassle-free

The staff was helpful and accommodating; they had no problem preparing an early breakfast for us and were responsive to our requests throughout our stay. Breakfasts were tasty with a good selection of dishes

The hotel is situated on the beach front at Durres. We had a large room with balcony and sea view. The air conditioning, which was very necessary in July, worked well. The staff were very friendly and helpful

Walk into Durres is about 45 to 60 mins stroll, half the route is the beach walk then navigate a couple of roundabouts and walk along a road side, some might just prefer to taxi it ! Worth the effort

Wonderful family hotel, ideally located right by the sea and just a short walk from the city center. The large terrace with its breathtaking sea view is a real highlight. Sun loungers and parasols provided free of charge

Nice breakfast in a shaded terrace overlooking the sea. The hotel organised a pick up from Tirana airport which worked well. There is an ATM right next to the hotel if you need cash

There is a convenience store close by for water and snacks. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in both directions along the beach front from the hotel

Visited in October as season was coming to a close, about a quarter of restaurants/ cafes closed, still ample close to vila lule and all excellent

The food was tasty, the service was friendly, and the view made the experience even better. A nice place to relax and enjoy a good meal. It’s also right by the beach, which made everything even better

They ensured I was kept with clean towels and bedding, toiletries ect. The food is beyond amazing and great prices. They even made me Petulla when I requested it at breakfast, which was the best Petulla I have tasted

Great, peaceful hotel with a great service. Close to the beach (200m), there is a private free beach. 2-part pool (shallow around 100 cm & deeper from 160-200 cm). Nice rooms with regular cleaning

Really amazing team - clerks and waiters, always very positive and helpful. Meals were quite monotoneous, most were meat based and there was very little fresh fruit. I can really recommend the unique blueberry tea

Stunning view, great location, extremely caring, thoughtful and friendly staff. I did not stay in the hotel so I cannot comment on that, but I highly recommend the restaurant!

Booked Hotel Miki with my husband as the price was very good. It is a little out of the way of the main city of Durres but only 5 min walk to the beach and the strip of bars and restaurants

The breakfast is extremely rich, the hotel has a private section on the sandy beach, the rooms (built only a few years ago) are clean and modern, and i highly recommend staying for dinner at least occasionally, you will not regret it

If you are not too lazy to walk 7 mins to the beach, this is the place for you, you can thank me later

We couldn’t resist this place after seeing the amazing outdoor pizza oven and grill. Great food, incredibly nice people and nice atmosphere. We came back many times.

Andi hotel has a very good atmosphere. It is cozy and silent. We felt at home here. It has a big and comfortable car park. The hotel located directly at the sandy beach next to the seafront promenade.

(Restaurant review only) This restaurant became our favourite restaurant while staying at the Albanian Star Hotel. We were actively looking for good seafood meals. We tried five restaurants before we found this gem

Nice restaurant. Have been with family for dinner. Ordered three main courses with one salad. Have received margarita for free. Very big portions, delicious sea-food. Recommended very much!

Very good risotto and spaghetti seafood, and the seafood caserole. We experienced nice and friendly staff and a quiet "italian" atmosphere (no loud donk donk music)

Altgough we stayed in another hotel, we came to Dollari almost every day. Food is amazing, the staff is so hospitable, the atmosphere is great! Recommend this place for sure. And try mussels here, you won't regret:)

Visited the restaurant early morning for takeaway coffee for my wife and me. Greeted warmly by a smiling lady, no language barrier. Got one Americano and one cappuccino for 350 lek. Great service and experience!

I have stayed at Hotel Kristal twice. The rooms are very clean , comfortable & well decorated. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide range of choices. Location is perfect for the beach , shops & restaurants

Arrived on 29 Dec 2025 and checked in and got my room straightaway with the help of my tour rep Dennis, lovely sea view and weather was lovely - had the same room when we came back on 2 Jan 2026 Breakfast is adequate and staff were very helpful

We came in last minute without a reservation and the rooms were nice for 4 people, big enough so you can enjoy a goodnights rest. The showers were spacious and it had both cold and hot water

A very nice hotel, with a good location close to everything in Durres. The beach, which is not very nice, is only 5 min away, the amphitheater is 2 min away, and the center is just behind the corner

The staff is very friendly and english speaking. We had parking right in front of the entrance, and a balcony with a tiny sea-view. The room, the bathroom and the beds were fine

During the first night we had a quiet room, probably renovated, with a fridge but no coffee facilities. Very friendly and helpful personal. During our second stay we had a non renovated room, along the street

In the morning we asked for it, and after quite a while a pack of paper napkins was brought… The location along the road is its best but also worst feature because of the infernal road traffic

Rooms are big and clean, bed is comfortable, but the bathroom furniture is too old and very bad quality.. Hotel staff members are friendly and helpful. Breakfast in this Hotel is not very good.

Private beach also included along with free breakfast that can be eaten in the restaurant or on the beach. Workers are really hospitable and this is the best hotel in Albania I have been in so far

Nice hotel. If You want a beach, walk 15-20 minutes north. You will see a white fish-restaurant (it’s good) that looks like a boat. Continue 100 meter and You will find a good beach.

there is no such thing as private beach. we booked and it turned out that the beach the hotel rents out for the gue mists was closed. Breakfast is not an open buffet. But the service lady (manager) is v friendly

Nice yard where we ate our breakfast and som sunbathing. The house very close to the walk beside the beach walk and in front of that you have a nice beach with soft sand and sunbeds that you could rent for 5€/day

Of course, there is no daily housecleaning service as in a hotel but they ask you if you need anything. The area is safe with a few restaurants and mainly luxury hotels. The beach is only three-minute walk away

It's clean and the staff are very welcoming. Sea side is more than 700 meters. You have to walk through bushes. The beach is not good and dirty. You can choose other beaches which are 2 kilometers away (by Car)
