Hotel Oasis in Sarande

Nasty hotel. Far from the water . You got to pay every day extra $60 to the beach for a spot. Discussing breakfast . The worse albanian food ever. I was sordounded by dirty towels ; sheets and ignorant housekeeping every time using a small elevators and walking in the hallways. Safe do not work and you feel unsafe Far from main area of the city . Walking in sidewalk from that hotel is unsafe 💀. Everyday family is watching when you come in / out - no privacy Don't recommend this hotel to anyone

Worst hotel in our Albanian trip. The power was cut off midnight until after 3am, no explanation. The elevator was very tiny. The poor staff had to do everything! There was never anyone manning the reception. The restaurant was not prepared to serve dinner for groups. And you had to walk up a very steep incline just to get to the entrance!

The website should state that there is comprehensive building work going on next door or at least a heads up about the construction work before check-in would have been appreciated. We complained many times; the hotel suggested that maybe we shouldn't be in our room between 10am-2pm, when the work was supposedly going on. This was never the case. It started earlier and finished later, sometimes at 7 am. The builders were very close to our balcony, so there was very little privacy. The only respite was on Sunday. This actually ruined our time in Saranda - which was actually really disappointing. Upon arrival at a hotel I would expect the card reader to be working - we eventually were able to pay by card. No comments as to why they would prefer for you to pay with cash. I would expect to get the same room that I actually paid for. We booked a king-size room for 5 nights. Their website is misleading. Their website states that certain rooms have certain amenities, which was not the case - a bath, cable tv, for example. Eventually we were moved to a junior suite- however, the description and photos on the website are also misleading. I would expect two key cards, without having to ask when you're a party of four people. The room said it was suitable for 5 adults. It definitely wasn't. We were 2 adults and 2 children and the room wasn't big enough for us. Regarding the coffee/tea in the room we had to ask reception for a refill every day. We do pay for every night so we expected it to be refilled on a daily basis. Maybe this is more of a hotel for a one-night stay. The breakfast staff were helpful and hands on, unfortunately they don't run the hotel. For a 4-star hotel one would expect the wifi and air conditioning to work more than just intermittently.

The room was fine! However unfortunately the staff only offered us 1 card where in every other hotel I have been usually offer two cards to enter the room which was an inconvenience and when I asked for another one they refused to provide. Secondly, they evaded our privacy. We put up the sine to “DO NOT ENTER” at the room door and they still entered when we were not there I have no idea why and when I asked the first time they said the sign wasn’t up! However, the second time we made sure to put up the sign and took a picture and it happened again where the housekeeper entered without permission! The third problem we encountered was the problem with payment before hand we checked online that they accept credit cards(Visa, Master) However when time came to check out they told us the terminal for payment is not working and when we asked to see if it is working they refused to even try to turn it on! We were forced to go to an ATM which has very high fees and the inconvenience and the stress they caused us was not worth the stay! ***All in all I would NOT recommend the HOTEL OASIS! *Very disappointed with their service and carelessness in regards of their Money makers(costumers)
