travel a lot and always leave only honest feedback. Unfortunately, my stay at Grand Resort Jermuk was very disappointing. I booked through Capital One Travel with breakfast only, since there was no all-inclusive option. Before arrival, I emailed the hotel asking about lunch and dinner prices; they replied it costs 6,000 AMD per meal and includes seven kinds of treatments. However, when I arrived, reception kept asking which site I booked through, then suddenly said I must pay an extra 7,000 AMD per night for a single room — even though they offered it to me. At check-in, I specifically asked for a quiet room away from the elevator. The receptionist assured me it was far, but my room (328/329) was right next to the elevator and very dusty. When I called again, they insisted it had been cleaned, but no one came. Staff attitude was unfriendly and unhelpful. The doctor appointment lasted less than two minutes. She told me that since my booking included only breakfast, I was not entitled to any treatments and only suggested “terrain cure” walking, which is not real therapy. After all this poor attitude, I decided not to spend any more money in Grand Resort. I went for massage and treatments at Olympia Sanatorium, just across the road, and also tried meals there — they were much better and cost only 4,000 AMD. I also tried lunch at the Moscow Sanatorium — cheaper (3,000 AMD) and more suitable for people with digestive issues. Breakfast at Grand Resort was poor: no salads, only thin cheese slices, and fruits that guests handled with bare hands. The pool is small, crowded, and not suitable for real swimming. Positive side: the sauna was warm, the people from the medical section were kind and polite. Overall, if you are looking for real sanatorium treatment and professional service, avoid Grand Resort Jermuk. Choose Olympia or Moscow Sanatorium instead — cleaner, friendlier, and more therapeutic.
