I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years (more than 10 visits), and I always had a positive impression. However, in the last 1–2 years, the quality of the food in the restaurant has noticeably declined. While the prices have remained the same, the variety of food has been reduced by almost half. This was quite disappointing compared to my previous experiences.

Our experience was wonderful! We had a lovely time enjoying the swimming pool and the movie screening. The food was excellent as well, and the staff were helpful, keeping everything clean and well organised

My friend and I stayed here recently and absolutely loved it! From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, friendly, and incredibly welcoming — they truly made us feel at home. Our room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is calm and inviting, perfect for relaxing after a day out. Breakfast was also very good, with tasty options and a pleasant dining area. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely choose this place again. Highly recommended!

As travelers from Australia, we spent a couple of days at Hotel Russia in Tsaghkadzor, and it exceeded all our expectations. The experience was nothing short of amazing!
The rooms were spotlessly clean, providing a comfortable and cozy stay. The all-inclusive buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was a highlight, featuring a wide variety of delicious food and desserts that catered to all tastes.
The hotel offers fantastic amenities, including free access to two children’s playrooms, ping pong tables, a heated saltwater pool set at a comfortable 30°C, and a fully equipped gym. They even provide a complimentary trip to the ropeway and back, which added to the overall convenience and enjoyment of our stay.
The staff were exceptional—kind, respectful, and always ready to help. Adding a magical touch to our evenings, there was live music on the first floor, with a pianist and a violinist creating a warm and elegant atmosphere. Guests gathered to dance or simply enjoy the beautiful melodies.
The service was truly outstanding, and every moment felt special. We wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Russia Tsaghkadzor to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience. It’s a must-visit! We can not wait to come back!

They don't even write the names of their food next to the food in the restaurant. During launch they only had one kind of meat. You would think that it would be chicken at least. But it was pork.. No fish, no lamb, no chicken and no beef. And I don't even eat pork but because if this I ate it. Apart from the fact that it was disgusting, it was very poor service and I haven't seen anything like it.

Firstly, our room was in a deplorable state with dirty sheets that had unsettling red spots. This alone was a major red flag about the hygiene standards of the hotel. Additionally, the staff's attitude was notably unfriendly and unhelpful, which significantly dampened our stay.
The food was another letdown. Not only was the variety very limited, but the portion sizes were also unsatisfactorily small. This certainly did not meet the expectations of a high-quality hotel dining experience.
Moreover, another room allocated to us had an unbearable smell, making it difficult to stay in. The gym was equipped with outdated, Soviet-era machinery that was not only rusted but also seemed unsafe to use. This raised serious concerns about the hotel's attention to the safety and well-being of its guests.
Based on these experiences, I cannot recommend Hotel Russia. It is a far cry from the luxurious and comfortable stay one would expect from a 5-star establishment.

I don’t know who and how decided that this is a five star hotel?! Trust me, it’s not and it’s a way too far away from being a 5-star hotel. Terrible service - no one to open the door and help you with the luggages. When you enter the hotel, no one greets you and directs where to sit/wait.
The worst part is the hotel was so noisy with super impolite guests that we felt like we are in the middle of the street or bazaar! The hotel staff didn’t do anything about it.
Food was pretty average. Good for people who want to get stuffed for cheap!
No robe in the rooms and this is a 5-star hotel.
From positive things, the bed and mattress were comfortable, spacious and very clean rooms and that’s pretty much it.
I will never ever go back to this hotel!

before registration i was frozen and i saw a feet warmers on the reception desk so i used one, when i opened it the receptionist told it was not free and forced me to pay for the whole block. if there was a label with the price i would never take it because it is twice as expensive as i bought it in yerevan. if you decide to sell sth be kind enough to put its price on it.

I was here for 3 nights and I got the best deal for my money...the staff was alright though...facility okay...location for me was like the heart of the city...enjoyed my stay and would like to come back some more....
