Good place for 1 night 1300 rubles

Small hotel near the airport of Gyumri and far from the center. Low price for accommodation, friendly staff. The rooms are heavily smoked. Looked at a choice of several, the same everywhere .. Breakfast is modest, bring to the room. One night to sleep will come down, given the low price.

1km from Gyumri airport. You can walk on foot if 100r is a pity)) Ideally, if you arrived late. The room is small but cozy. The hostess is very friendly. Delicious breakfast, invigorating coffee

Rooms and service are good. Little bit not comfortable with parking because it’s on the side of the road, but it safe, even kept my bags on my bike. But issue is with very loud music from the restaurant which is in hotel. 10:30PM…

I stayed for one night with my large family. The staff was very flexible in choosing our rooms. The hotel is new and very nicely decorated. The room has everything! Coffee, water, towels, a bathrobe (!), disposable toiletries (floss, comb, toothpaste and toothbrush, lotions, and a shoe sponge). The rooms were very clean and spacious! I will definitely be back!

Everything was clean and cozy, and for the price it was pretty good, not far from the city center. The only issue was with the shower; the water wouldn't drain. Otherwise, it was perfectly fine.

From the first minute I felt not at the hotel, but at a party with friends! I was met by dear Eugene right at the entrance with cordiality and real Armenian hospitality !!! At the reception, she answered all questions. The room is spacious, very clean, comfortable, has everything you need. Gorgeous shower with massage device in the bathroom. Golden Apricot is a short walk from the railway station....

Nice position, very large rooms with plenty of services but without any tea or coffee facilities. Service is standard, breakfast is simple, continental style

Perfect location, on the corner of the main square, comfy room.

On our first night in Armenia it was a lovely surprise to be staying in the heart of the old town. It's surrounded by shops and restaurants just off the main square. The room was spacious with a large comfortable bed. The shower was good as were the bathroom supplies. Breakfast was adequate with a pianist who played through the service.

Our room was huge and the bed very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was excellent and to top it off, a lady played the piano during the whole time we were there.

The building is very beautiful but this place definitely needs renovation. Mainly plumbing and electricity issues as well as some unfinished walls paint. Other than that, it is very attractive. The service is not really good. The breakfast service though is ok

It's beautiful authentic hotel with unique atmosphere., located walki g distance from historical downtown. The breakfast was delicious. Our room was comfortable and cozy.

2022 EDIT: Changing to 3 stars in 2022 (originally reviewed in 2017). The hotel compound is still really beautiful and its very pleasant being inside the courtyard, but the singles we stayed in previously were converted to doubles making for very cramped rooms, and the prices are just way too high to justify these kinds of conditions. There's plenty of other good locations to stay in within the city...

Amazing place! The most beautiful place with unique atmosphere

Stayed here for one night, wonderful boutique hotel. It's run by an Italian man who came to help after the 1988 earthquake and ended up staying, he purchased the buildings, restored them and the inner courtyard, and turned them into Villa Kars. Great example of traditional Gyumri architecture, and the rooms are furbished with interesting things too. The location is great too, right in the old city...

We had 2 incredible nights here. Most cosy, esthetic and clean place to stay in Gyumri! Hosts are super nice people, who will make your stay even more enjoyable with amazing breakfast, moka and kind smiles on there face ☺️.

Not a tourist town, but a brand new hotel with friendly staff. Far from the center, but great to spend a night if you are passing through Gyumri.

They were passing through to Gyumri, staying at Vale Hotel. I met a transfer at the airport. They brought to the hotel, settled in a spacious, comfortable room. Very friendly staff. Special thanks to the host, arranged transport to Tbilisi. We will Gyumri will definitely stay at this hotel again ..

Not the cleanliest hotel out there. The floor pf the hotel room was very dusty. We asked specifically for two separate beds, yet when we entered the room, we had to call them back and ask them to prepare two separate beds which was done in front of us, waiting to just have a rest. Breakfast was nice except for the employees fighting with each other just outside the dining room. Overall, below average...

Old Friend Guesthouse is located in an alley behind Rajkov Street. Even with Google Maps, it's difficult to find because there's no sign. The guesthouse is clean. The photo shows the entrance to the guesthouse.

Excellent guest house. Right next to the central square and a pedestrian street with many cafes and restaurants.

The hotel has a cafe and restaurant. Foreigners are trying to cheat. The hotel has a price list, prices offer others. According to the price, the beer is 500 AMD, with a check of 650, with a bottle of price of 1200 AMD, with a check of 1500, I do not recommend. A suite is not a suite, but a regular room. In other hotels more amenities, the difference in 2000 AMD

Traveled in early April. What can I say: a wonderful, comfortable and cozy hotel! We got a very comfortable, beautiful room, with a pleasant interior and all the necessary amenities. The administrators are very polite and courteous, responsive to guests' requests. Very tasty cuisine in the bar-restaurant! In general, relaxing here - and even among such a beautiful mountain landscape - is a pleasure...

Nice clen place with friendly staff. They even did our laundry as we were staying for a week. The problem is the location and the quite dangerous road outside the hotel. Just walking to the shop in the evening can be a struggle as the pathway is not really existing and they were no lights.

Very clean!!! Both the grounds and the rooms! The furniture is beautiful and comfortable! The showers are spacious!!! You don't have to huddle together, clinging to the walls of the stall with your elbows, like in some hotels 😏 The water pressure is good!!! Both hot and cold! There's plenty of furniture to spread out your personal belongings. The windows have good curtains; if you're bothered by sunlight...

Absolutely delighted with both the room and the caring attitude towards guests, which was evident right away. The overall experience is very good, the accommodation room is large and cheap, and the surrounding environment is very quiet. Gyumri is a warm city. Since it is not big, it is very convenient to walk or take a taxi. I like it very much.

Dang it, I forgot all about the hostel! I also spaced on the location, but let me tell you, the couple who runs this place is the absolute kindest and sweetest. I highly recommend staying here. The location is excellent, the rooms are decent, and don't miss out on the breakfast!

What a beautiful stay at Armine’s! Armine herself was such a lovely welcoming lady who understood English very well. We were greeted with 2 shots of their homemade rose liquor, sweets and snacks. There was a shelf of the liquor to buy, along with honey and jams. We stayed in the larger of the 3 available options and it was so cosy and homey. The apartment is a short walk away (5 mins) from the town...

My family and I had an amazing stay at Armine's B&B! We take apartments and modern room. The apartments are beautifully styled, cozy, and just as stunning as the photos. The location is perfect for a 5-10 minute walk to the center. The atmosphere is so warm, reflecting the charm of Gyumri itself. The room was spotless, and there was always hot water. Armine, the wonderful hostess, greeted us with sweets...

Very nice, clean, relaxing place to stay in a good location to explore Gyumri. Room is very nicely decorated - quite unexpected how nice it is! Only negative is there if no aircon but temp in the room was ok even though it was 32 outside. Would recommend

Quaint. Just difficult to find. A large sign outside the building would have been reassuring. Armine was very welcoming even though we were very early.
