790 on George in Sydney

Its a really solid hostel. Nothing flash, but very functional and meets your basic needs. Props to the young aussie lady and two dudes with cool hair styles for running a tight ship and been ultra helpful and friendly on the reception desk. Also the other woman with a dope playlist and good fashion sense. And props to the housekeeping team, its a thankless jobs but you guys look like you actually enjoy it and the cleanliness and team camaraderie didn't go amiss. (Sorry don't know names) Shout out to Magna too the in house magician with a paint brush.
The place has character and your not served my robots or zombies. Also unlike Azzuro Darling Harbour this place isn't falling apart and with foul smelling drains. Breakfast is cheap and cheerful, bed frames squeaky but beds nice and comfy, ample storage space in locker and decent showers designed in a way that doesn't flood the entire floor after only a few uses, unlike many other hostel I stayed in. Room always felt fresh and air con worked fine. Great central location a minutes walk from Central Station and Chinatown. With World Square Coles and Market City eateries and shops close by. And the light rail line running parallel to hostel. Would definitely recommend for short or medium term stays on a budget. :) Will stay again if I return to Sydney. Keep up the good work!

I found this hostel very convenient and safe, and the price was cheap. The location was also great; overall, it was a hostel with excellent value for money.

They offer a simple breakfast: milk, cereal, toast, and jam.
24-hour front desk service.

【Facilities】
The facilities are a bit old, and you have to charge your devices in a locker; there are also no curtains. However, the price is really good, making it very cost-effective for a short stay of a few days. The bathrooms are quite clean, and there's a bathroom on every floor, so you don't have to wait in line. The only downside is the Wi-Fi; it might be worse because I was staying on the 7th floor.

【Location】
It's right next door to YHA. There's a bus stop right outside, which is very convenient for getting around. It's also very close to the City Market, perfect for buying souvenirs.

The location was really good, right near the city center with public transportation all around. The room itself was ok in size. The boxes for luggage are super inconvenient, especially if you have an upper one. Moreover, sockets for charging are inside those boxes, which is hilarious. Everybody was struggling with charging their gadgets.

Great location, but keep in mind it's a hostel. If you're not used to that, you might want to consider other options. Overall, though, my experience was quite good, and the people there were very friendly.

The staff are very helpful and friendly... Every Friday have free pizza...

Pretty nice backpackers hostel in Sydney! I will surely revisit it here :)

But i would like to let the staff know something about event in the hostel. I attended free pizza event at exactly 7pm. (Free pizza event starts at 7pm) And there were already full of people eating pizzas at underground cafeteria. I could have asked the staff whether i could eat pizza or not, but i just went back to my room because i hated crowded vibes.

I kindly suggest that staff inform guests that the underground cafeteria may get crowded during free pizza events, so they should arrive early to secure a spot.

If there had been such a notice, i would have been there so early. But there wasn't. That's why i suggest it like that.

Anyway, everything else was amazing!
