Moonbird in Gold Coast

Just visited Sage for our final dinner of the trip. Despite the waitress being lovely and professional the visit was very disappointing. Kids meals were ok and reasonably priced however the steak was terrible, I ordered a medium and when you are being charged $40 for a steak it needs to be spot on and this was way over cooked. When asked how my meal was I complained and eventually the supervisor came over and smugly advised that only one side of the meal was over cooked, Seriously! They did offer me another meal which I declined however no discount was offered. I would like to suggest to the owners that they part ways with the tall skinny beanstalk of a supervisor, customers who complain about their food generally on do this for a reason and don’t appreciate being argued with. I would also suggest the Chef may be better suited to the local RSL club

Terrible customer service, took 45 mins just to get some overpriced curry, was very disappointed please save your money. Someone call Gordon Ramsay.

My family and I had just experienced the worst meal tonight ever on the Broadbeach strip. We have been coming to this restaurant for years on our vacations to Broadbeach and to say the service, the food and the look of the restaurant was a great disappointment this time compared to the past.

Was actually really disappointing. We arrived with no welcome. Sat down and finally got served a few mins later. Ordered two coffees and two brealfasts. The coffees didn't come out until 15 minutes later which already had is asking if we should just leave... we then waited 30 minutes further for food. There was only one other table in the whole restaurant so no excuse.

When the food came out my simple avocado on toast was a gluggy mess with hair in it and way too oily it was shining in the sun.

Absolutely would not bother going back. Didn't help that the staff were all about 15 and didn't seem to have anyone in charge.
