The Breakers on the Gold Coast is a real 'breaker' of expectations – in the best possible way! Located at 60 Old Burleigh Rd, Surfers Paradise, QLD, this fantastic destination offered us a holiday experience that was nothing short of exceptional, thanks to its incredibly friendly and accommodating staff.

The Breakers is an absolute 'break' from the ordinary! With its fantastic clean amenities, including a pool, beach, BBQ area, and famous walking path, you'll never want to leave. And when you do, you're just a stone's throw away from great restaurants, cafes, and theme parks. I'd rate it a phenomenal 11/10!

The instructions regarding where to retrieve the room key were not clearly explained. Customer service did not answer calls from the door and only answered after a long delay. It was also very difficult to finally obtain the key.

We rented a superior ocean view room. The view was excellent. Two balconies, both with ocean views. The sea is about 50 meters away. There's a grill and tables for guests of the apartment complex. We recommend buying meat (we bought kangaroo and beef) from the supermarket and grilling it.

Pretty quiet.
We stayed on 10th floor in a 1 bedroom unit.
View was great.
Amenities in the unit good.
Handy to either broadbeach or surfers

Spent a week here in February. Location is perfect about 1/2 way between Surfers and Broadbeach. You can be on the beach in about 5 mins. Worth spending a bit more to get an ocean view room. Pool area is clean and nice to have a swim to cool off in the afternoon. Good car parking. I booked direct to get the best price. Staff were helpful and quick to reply. Overall I’d say it’s a 4.5 The room would need a slight refurb to get a 5 star rating but just minor things.

Three of us dined here yesterday for the Groupon high tea. My points are given for the novelty of a revolving restaurant, convenience of free parking, friendly service and good drinks. Improvements could be made on the food itself which was pretty average but otherwise a pleasurable experience.

Fantastic views of Surfers Paradise from the Four Winds restaurant located on the top floor of the Crowne Plaza complex. The restaurant rotates slowly through 360 degrees providing views of the Gold Coast from all angles.

The food is served "all you can eat" buffet style. It's mainly seafood but there are plenty of other options. The food was delicious and the ambience was good. Price-wise, it's not what I would call cheap but you can find deals/coupons on various websites. Enjoyable visit and will return again.

Went for dinner to get the views, can't see out the windows at night.
Food is below par even for a buffet, especially for the price of $77 per head, we weren't even offered a drink apart from water.

High Tea at Four Winds: Beautiful panoramic views of the Coast. Staff are friendly, attentive and welcoming. The High tea itself was okay. Glad I bought a few vouchers through Groupon or I may have been disappointed if I paid full price. Sandwiches are very average - 2 choices: Egg and ham, cheese, tomato with relish. The scones are served cold. Most of the High Teas I have been to serve their savories warm. The desserts are very generic. All in all - the food is average but the views are to die for. Also it smells of seafood (I'm assuming from the seafood buffet) - something I wouldn't mind if I were there to eat seafood.

We had the seafood buffet dinner and it wasn't too bad but wasn't impressive either. The seafood was fresh but the taste of the selection of hot food could be improved. The revolving restaurant concept was special and we did enjoy the view.
