It was honestly the best four days we’ve had. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of everything, making it so easy to walk to restaurants, shops and the beach. The service was wonderful and welcoming from start to finish. The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable, making it feel like a real holiday escape.

We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing and convenient getaway.

Good spot! Near everything.

We have a 2 bedroom apartment: it wasn’t 100 percent clean we had to vacuum it and it’s super dusty. We’ve had little flies so it needs to be cleaned better.
Furniture is little old and rusty. Including the light switches and bath tub they are old with rust.
They have a rule of setting the air con no lower than 23 which is wild because we get so hot, so we’ve been melting with our baby.
It is noisy here due to construction but they did warn us. The bed is uncomfortable and you can feel the springs coming out so a better bed would be good for your guests. Overall, I don’t think I will stay again unless there was a very good deal as it’s not worth what we paid.

The Wave Resort Broadbeach was an outstanding place to stay. The location was perfect — right in the heart of Broadbeach with everything within easy walking distance. We didn’t need to use the car for five days. Our 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment with ocean views was amazing, spacious, and very comfortable. The facilities were exceptional, especially the pool, gym, steam room, and sauna. Highly recommended for families, and we would happily stay here again.

The wave is a lovely resort, in a great location, for this you will pay a premium price. I'm generally OK with paying a little extra for a nice comfortable holiday BUT... when I pay good money for my holiday I expect to be able to sleep well past 6am.. All rooms at the wave overlook a major construction site which apparently has no noise restrictions. Probably officially starts at 7am 6 days a week but so much work is actualy done pre-start including setting up machinery, concrete pumps etc. Now add to this discomfort that the entire swimming pool and entertainment deck was closed for renovation. 30 degree days and $1000s of dollars paid with no pool to enjoy?
The key difference between a motel and a resort would be the facilities. If the facilities are CLOSED how can you still charge your premium price? Obviously my complaint wasn't the first and Staff response was pretty much too bad not our fault. This staff attitude was the most disappointing, not an ounce of empathy or understanding, certainly no consideration of discount or apology.
There are so many great resorts in Broadbeach.
Give this one a big miss

Great central location & beautiful views from the balcony.
Nice rooms, recently renovated which was awesome.
Lots of room in the 3 bed apartment and good amenities.
Only thing annoying was the showers were fixed height, not on a slider rail, so for myself (159cm) the shower head was way too high. I ended up just taking it off and holding the shower head.
Beds were comfy and black out blinds amazing!
Sound was blocked quite well by the doors etc, so not as noisy as I thought it would be.
The rooftop spa was nice, but definitely wouldn't say it was warm?
Sauna was amazing!

spacious modern apartments in the heart of Broadbeach, very close to the beach, shopping and trams/ buses.

My partner and I stayed at The Wave for 12 days on the 11th level in mid March 23. Big and spacious 1 bedroom unit that was very clean and modern with everything you could possibly need. Fantastic facilities with pools and well equipped gym to mention a couple. The front desk people always helpful and informative on any queries we had and happy to help out where needed. Bit of construction going on next door but barely noticeable. Great bars and restaurants all round and just a 45 minute walk into Surfers. A great all round experience and planning to return same time next year!

Exceeded expectations.
Sub penthouse apartment was very very large. Easily accommodated our group of seven and could have fit more. The sofa bed is in a self contained space, essentially a fourth bedroom. With the sofa bed made up there are still two full sitting areas. Views are absolutely spectacular - ocean and hinterland. Saw whales from the front deck.
Spotlessly clean. Managers were very friendly - they were very happy to look after keycards (we were given four), and provided us a second car space at no extra cost. Good pools and an unusually well-equipped gym.
Great location - close to beach, convention centre, tram stop, Woolies. A good place to holiday if you aren’t bringing a car.
Others have commented on building noise. We were barely aware of it.

We had a wonderful stay at The Wave Resort in May 2023. The Broadbeach location was perfect for our family of four. Everything we needed was close by and Surfers was an easy tram ride as well. The outside pools were heated and the spa was huge. The apartment we stayed in had everything we needed, was clean, and very spacious. We were warned about the construction noise from next door, but we didn't have any issues.

Fantastic location and accomodation with gorgeous views. The pool was divine and the gym was great and the staff really lovely. Perfect for a family with two young adult aged children. We all loved it.

Really horrible food. The rice was so dry it was as if it had never touched water. I asked what food wasnt spicy and the waitresses told me that the nacos weren't. It was more spicy then anyone else's dish

Amazing! The food was great and the portion sizes were massive

We always eat at Montezumas at Kedron which is fantastic. Aztec may have the same menu but the food is not the same. No taste, tonnes of canned retried beans on every plate, tasteless dry chicken, cold beef on the tacos and generally just really bad food. Our table cloth which is an old beach towel had mould all over it and The place had a bad smell.
You will find better food in Broadbeach than this place

Worst food ever. Burnt rice. Way too much cheese. No salt. The sangria was the worst... Cheap alcohol and too much bottled lemon juice. Don't bother eating here.

It is not very good food at all. It looks like it has been there for a while and needs an update.
