Very nice hotel will definitely stay again!

The hotel reception staff were very welcoming and patient with us, explaining things slowly since we're foreigners. The breakfast was excellent, truly a rare delicious meal we had in Vienna. We really didn't enjoy the local Western food outside.

Had a wonderful stay. The location was great, our room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed.

The hotel clean up the room on request. I asked for the daily make up for the room, but it was not made on the second day. Did they want to minimize their effort and expense for cleaning? If they do not provide daily make up, they should provide discount. In principle, daily cleaning is thought to be included in the payment.

I had a wonderful stay at this Brazilian-style hotel. The room was very spacious, and having a kitchen made it extremely convenient and practical. Everything was clean and well-organized, which made me feel very comfortable.

Nice hotel for travelers, self service concept works, we got nice spacious room with kitchenette for an attractive 3-night deal .. we realized later that the 1 night extension booked during stay was double the initial day rate - we understand rates change dynamic, so overall top rating

The transportation is convenient, with a tram stop right outside and a train station nearby that offers direct service to the airport. However, the train station has two exits; the one closer to the hotel doesn't have an elevator. If you have large luggage, it's easier to use the exit with an elevator and then take one tram stop to the hotel entrance. The hotel staff are all very friendly and enthusiastic...

The gym was under construction, the shower drain was not working, leaving you standing in a bath while showering. location was far from city but still a good stay for the price.

Good location , supermarket just across the roads for buying fruits etc, very near to the tram station . Only set back is the house keeping service that is not very up to mark

I got the impression that it's an old hotel. It was a bit challenging to adjust the shower temperature, and the hairdryer would stop working after about two minutes of use. However, it's pretty convenient as it only takes about 20 minutes by tram to get to the city center, which was a plus. Having a supermarket right in front of the hotel was also great.

We loved the location and the vibe. There was a tram station nearby, supermarket and dm as well which was so convenient. The room was a bit old, with the bathtub lack of cleanness but considering the price, it was overall satisfying enough. Thank you.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast has a wide variety and is quite good. The hotel is very conveniently located, with a large shopping mall just outside and the subway very close. You can also take a bus to the airport right outside the hotel. The river is a 10-minute walk from the hotel, which is perfect for a stroll.

It would be better if there is a desk to write on.

Since the moment we arrived, we have been extremely satisfied. We did not experience anything negative at all. The room was very comfortable and everything had been thoughtfully arranged. The breakfast variety and flavors were exceptional. If we come to Vienna again, we would definitely consider staying here.

Great vegetarian breakfast with options for freshly made omelets, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, and pancakes. The tea selection at breakfast is of high quality. The sauna area is inviting and, most importantly, equipped with a good stove. Clean kettle in the rooms.

My 3-night stay ended up being cut short to 2 nights due to a flight cancellation. Everything else was very pleasant. The only issue was that because I had pre-paid for the hotel reservation, I lost the cost of one night's accommodation. I asked for assistance but it wasn't possible. Everything could have been much better if this hadn't happened.

The hotel front desk staff were warm and polite. The room had a stylish and minimalist design. Although the front desk forgot to provide tissues and toothbrushes, their service attitude was excellent, and they proactively apologized, which was perfectly fine. Breakfast was a bit simple. Vienna is definitely worth a stay!

The bathroom was a bit smelly and the room didn’t look like 4stars but overall okay for the money we spend

We received a different room than the one we had booked. Our son was disappointed because he didn’t get to sleep in the bunk bed on any of the three nights. The reception staff told us that they had no available rooms as the hotel was fully booked, without making any further attempt to address our request.

The room looks just like the photos. Not far from the nearest station, with plenty of restaurants, a supermarket, and shopping nearby. The room has all the basic amenities, and there’s an elevator, which is very convenient.

Room is spacious. It’s a good deal in Vienna regardless the location is a bit far from the city centre.

Substandard room amenities. No kettle or coffee machine or cups. No bar fridge. Rooms were also dated and old.

Staff doesn't look friendly and already informed to throw rubbish in the room but after I go back to the room at night, the rubbish is still there. The service is dropped compared to my first stay.

I highly recommend the hotel's breakfast. It's a buffet, with the option of making your own dishes to order. They offer omelets, eggs Benedict, avocado bread, and pancakes. Two elderly Germans (presumably Germans) were very impressed after trying the omelets.

The staff were all very friendly, and the room was clean and tidy. However, the soundproofing wasn't great, so it was quite noisy in the mornings, which affected my sleep. Hotel Wandl was in a great location, minutes to the Graben and St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Room was a good size and clean with a balcony and nice view. It’s an older hotel and looked like it was modernized in the 80’s or 90’s. The decor is in need of an update. I recently visited Vienna to visit Christmas markets. The hotel is in an absolutely perfect location…tucked behind Peterkirche. Excellent location. Two blocks from the museums, two blocks from the main shopping district and close to many pubs and restaurants. Clean and well maintained. My only suggestions: breakfast in the hotel is pricey and the sauna is only open from 4:00pm-10:00pm. Staff was very helpful and the had free champagne on New Year’s Eve and day.

DO NOT SKIP THIS HOTEL. Phenomenal service, spacious rooms with a great design, and an unbeatable location. We asked the middle-aged gentleman working the desk late at night for some tea free, and were offered it free of charge at around 2 AM as we came in from the cold. They will go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, all at an unbeatable price.

All the staff is neither friendly nor welcoming. The rooms are not cleaned, the bathroom shelves were full of dust, a pity (see. photo). The two of us had to spend 4 days with only a small shampoo and a small tube of shower gel, as well as a single roll of toilet paper. The Kleenex box empties the entire stay, regrettable for 4 stars. The location is perfect, both very close to the main touristic zones by walk and also in a peaceful zone without the rush. Service was fast and welcoming, rooms were clean. Absolutely loved this hotel! It's right on the shopping street, which made it so convenient for some retail therapy. The room itself was super clean and stylish, exactly the color scheme I prefer. While the breakfast selection wasn't huge, it was still pretty good. Highly recommend!

The Shower was broke? went down to the front desk two days in a row. Had reservations and needed to shower before going out. Had some one come on the second day that I reported it and he couldn't fix it. The offered me another room which I really had no time to pack my luggage and move to another room and was leaving the next day. they gave me a key to another room to shower.
