This hotel has the potential to be excellent, albeit if the follwing minors are taken seriously. It is very authentic, in a lovely quiet location and the food is very good. The staff are generally very friendly.

1. Front desk, address customers issues promptly. Don't just pass the buck or make them feel like it's their problem. For example, just fix the safe if it's not working and address the ongoing cold water supply issue to the room/s. Appreciate your maintenance person tried to resolve this, but the problem just returned immediately. Paid good money for the room, so don't want to be told to go and use the wellness facilities as an alternative.

2. Adult wellness area means adults only. However, you did eventually place further notices after complaints.

3. Maybe at least a bottle of water in the room upon arrival as a minimum?

4. Not sure how the minibar deal in the room worked? Offer said first refill included in price, but it was empty from the start.

Non of the above ruined our stay, just pointing out some facts. For the inconvienence, the hotel gave us a discount on departure which was welcome and appreciated.

Our stay at the hotel was perfect , very authentic Austrian hotel .

Food !!-
The food was amazing (not small portions at all ) there was a big salad buffet to choose from every night which ranged from soups , bread , pasta bakes and salads then some nights were buffets while most nights were a sit down meal restaurant style . There is also a kids buffet which ranged each night from szchnitzel chips chicken nuggets etc . They also had afternoon snacks of pastries . On our stay we had beef cheeks , chicken one night and another venisant all the meats were beautiful and slow cooked the food is what we looked forward to each day - which isn’t usually the case in a half board hotel . The staff were always lovely and had a smile on their face a tip would be to learn a few German phrases to use at dinner , but we had no issues with this . You always have the same table at meal times which I really liked this touch - I am gluten intolerant myself so I really appreciated how included I felt they always made sure I had a basket of home made gluten free rolls which were amazing - this is so nice and I don’t usually get this when staying in places . Food isn’t labelled but if you speak to a member of staff about intolerances / allergies they’d be more than happy to explain .

Only negatives were that you had to pay for coffee at dinner time was only free at breakfast and you have to pay for tap water at meals so just fill up from the drinks machine so save charges

Activities -
There was some very nice chilled activities planned it’s perfect if you want very nice quiet relaxed Austrian hotel , a couple nights they had a traditional band , another night they had a welcoming party with fires outside gluvine and sausages (the traditional sauce was amazing ) which was our favourite activity was a really nice touch . All of the staff members were really happy to be there and we especially enjoyed the service of the Ukrainian lady on reception (sadly diddnt catch her name ) who always had a smile on her face and answered any questions we had .

Facilities -
The spa is just amazing . Although we booked it as a skiing holiday we spent most of the mornings by the pool which has an amazing view of the mountains which we had all to ourselves most mornings . The wellness room was amazing and has water beds with headphones . Only note is the saunas are naked saunas which I think is normal in Austria .

Cleanliness-
The hotel was very very clean no faults at all beautiful hotel and the rooms were cleaned every other day but you can ask if you want them cleaned every day

The area -
There are free buses outside the hotel to the towns and skiing which is really handy (taxis are quite expensive in the area ) they run every 15 mins or so or you can take a short walk to town . The area is very very beautiful my only negative about it is I wouldn’t say the slopes are for beginners blues join to reds and some blues resemble reds but we managed to find a few slopes that were do able as beginners but conditions weren’t great due to icy and not much snow think it would be better to go in feb .

Overall we enjoyed our stay so much and had a lovely family holiday for a week and would definitely recommend !

One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Staff doesn’t speak English. When we arrived there was absolutely nobody around - had to go to kitchen to ask for check in but that was also a struggle. Room completely nothing like the picture where I booked the room with separate living room - that of course didn’t happen. No kettle in the room. Dinner - so the menu is set, I haven’t been asked once about any allergies. There is no option for ala carte at all. I’m allergic to plums where the desert was plums and I haven’t realised what it was until I tried which resulted in me running up to my room for EpiPen. Service is incredibly slow - not only takes a skill to order drinks giving their lack of English, but then we waited an hour for the drinks to be finaly served. When asked 4 times for it the girls working there were just ignoring us. Originally supplied to stay a week, however we lasted 2 days and left. Couldn’t sit any longer with constant stares and talked which made us super uncomfortable..

Overall, the worst experience I had in any hotel. I do not recommend this to anyone.

Excellent location, supportive and friendly staff, great services, pretty expensive. We had dinner included, the restaurant atmosphere and concept of serving the dinner is exceptional. We are treated by the staff when entering restaurant, same table is reserved per room number for the whole stay which is comfortable, information about the next day including weather forecast and activities, really nice. Secure Parking location for additional charges (4 € / day). Poor WiFi and low quality pillows is a minus.

Very slow check-in (long wait and search for a contact person at reception. In the room, the paperback box in the bathroom was empty and on Sunday afternoon there was no one in the hotel who could open the room safe, which had been locked by the previous tenants, and make it usable for us.
Otherwise very positive review. Clean, spacious room, top sanitary facilities and a very good and extensive breakfast selection.

I lovely smart and stylish Austrian traditional Hotel which exceeded our expectations. We were three families and it suited our needs perfectly. Breakfast was a really excellent spread in the lovely dining room. Tea was very welcome after a hard day skiing and available from early afternoon with delicious soup, meats, cheeses, and bread and some cakes. We had dinner there a few times too and it was a really nice four course set menu at quite a reasonable price, especially for kids up to 17 years. The hotel pool had to spectacular views of the mountains and the spa area had extensive saunas and steam rooms as well as a big solarium. The kids loved it.
