The hotel was clean and located right near the main station. But apart from that, one has to pay for bed linen and towel. Also, they ask you to use "pay and use" lockers when you arrive before the 3 pm check-in time and for average sized bags, the locker charges can be 4 euros. Same for the check-out day. Lucky for that after arguing for a while, the receptionist let me keep my bags in the ski-room. But i guess i was lucky ! I would not recommend a hostel like this which charges you for luggage for a few hrs before check-in and after checkout.

Very good position in the city, close to the train station and main bus lines.
Rooms are minimalistic, but really clean and functional.
The breakfast is convenient with many different choices.

Young modern feel to the lobby and dining areas. Sound insulation between rooms is poor though. You can easily hear the clash if furniture from the neighbouring rooms. Paid a budget price so can't expect everything to be perfect.

Check in was very confusing, the lady at reception clearly didn't know what she was doing, I waited in the queue for 30min to be told my room wasn't ready until 3pm - it does say in the website that check in is at 3pm anyway but other hostels would at least check the possibility of an early check in, not this one though. There is a reason for that, they charge you around $4 to store your luggage.
They asked me if I had brought my bed sheets (of course not! Who travels with bed sheets?!) yes, that's another £3,50 extra, then another £3 for the towel and you have to make your own bed
There was not enough power sockets for all of us in the room and none near my bed
The dorms are on the ground floor just behind the train tracks, from 5:30am the noise was unbelievable.
It's overrated and all the extras you have to pay you'd be better off staying in another hostel.

Great location if traveling by train. Clean rooms, bathrooms, and common areas. Friendly staff. Breakfast is okay. Building has a lot of empty space. There should be more Tables and chairs in those empty areas. There should be more power outlets available for people with laptops.

The location near Salzburg HBF was the best plus and the service was good! The team got us free transport tickets for one day without us asking and was able to bring us an electric kettle on our request! We have everything we needed for the room, bed, shower and toilet facilities are in very good condition! No problem during our one night stay at all!

The location is VERY convenient being right next to the train station so u can hv access to all the city transport. Staff are nice. However, the kitchen is crowded. It’s weird that the bed doesn’t come with socket and a lamp which is pretty inconvenient for those who are checking in late and trying not to wake the whole room with the light.

The hostel is closed to the train station and shopping mall. Our two beds room was upgraded to four bed room. The spacious was more comfortable and left our suitcase.
It was taken a long time for check in and registration by QR code. The guest kitchen was too small to share the crowded customers at the peal time. It is important not to keep your luggage when you had checked out except by payment lockers

Good place for the price. Close to the train station, but an easy walk to the main tourist area. I liked that you can choose when they come clean … but it wasn’t the best clean 🙈 WiFi was also great until the last day when there was no WiFi at all.
