Hotels in center in Baku

I’m staying ten days but I wanted to do a first day review because the manager Mohammad was most pleasant and very helpful and so are the rest of the staff. I just hope the rest of my stay will be as nice as my day one

We landed in Baku and went straight to Citadel Boutique Hotel where we stayed for 2 days. We had one kid and one infant with us. It is a private residence converted to a hotel so we had difficulty locating it

The only staff we came across was the receptionist and the lady care taker. Language barrier is definitely a hindrance so a translator app helps. Our room had a beautiful balcony opening into the street

The room was clean, washroom was a bit too small but everything was in working order. Room size was good for the four of us. They provided us with a single foldable tubular bed for our 8 year old

Breakfast was included in our stay and it's highly recommended. It set the bar high for the rest of the city food. Special shout out to the caretaker lady Miss Ferideh

Service was immaculate and our needs were met promptly. Definitely recommend staying at the hotel and enjoying their food and hospitality

However, there is no panel so you won't find it easily in the first time, and the entrance gives you a bad impression about it. Also, the elevator is too old and does not work well

The hotel (only one floor of a building) is in a very good place, near the stores and the old city. There is a garden in front of it, and the balcony looks directly to the sea

The breakfast is more than excellent, as well as the staff trying to help the guests. The internet is portable, so you can take it anywhere in the city

Good, cheap place to stay. However, our room had no curtains so we had daylight coming into our room quite early. Apart from that it was fine.

(Pedestrian only) Being a photographer i just grabbed my equipments and wandered around in a complete happiness as one may find hundereds of angles to cover even for a far landmarks such as the flame towers

As it was promised before booking, we were so much satisfied about the location of the Hotel. Almost all of the landmarks at the Old Downtown was a walking distance from the hotel

Taxi would drop you not far away from the hotel as it won't be able to reach opposite to the hotel

Staff were helpful and friendly, the room was ok and spacious

Very nice hotel. Staff is amazing. Excellent location and decent breakfast. A real good value for money

This is a pleasant enough place. the support staff are friendly and helpful. I found the receptionist to be considerate, helping where i had not asked and providing a great room upon arrival off the Tbilisi train

The hotel room itself displays a number of oddities such as light switches far from the bed, bright and harsh lighting. having said that the front apartment was very well equipped and well laid out

Location of the hotel is great! It’s inside the old city which you can walk to all the tourists attractions and also to the nizami shopping street. Beautiful restaurants around the hotel

The hotel has a nice location very close to freedom square. The room was neat and tidy. Only the size of the room was small rest all was good and excellent.

Friendly and helpful staff and spacious clean rooms

Owner is quite good person and nice human being. I definitely will prefer in future to stay here.

The guesthouse is simply great. We found it comfortable, cosy, perfectly located, clean, all facilities available. Even though the bathroom and kitchen are shared, they are clean, hot water runs all the time

Can be just our personal opinion, but wanted to warn possible female guests travelling without male company. Not for security reason, just the feeling of being over-controled

(he didn't expect us to pay for his time and guided tour, he even paid our bottle of wine and we all shared dinner bill with him). It feels like being his guest indeed

Everything was ok and satisfactory. I love this hotel. It is very close to the fountaing square and city center. I will book this hotel again.👍👍👍

The location of hotel is accessible to city center. If you are looking for a value for money place, this hotel could be the best choice!

Centrally located hotel with warm and kind staff. The room was clean without frills. That said, the following issues need to be resolved for a better experience:-There is a sewer smell that hits the room every few hours

The room was very clean and well maintained. The service was top-tier; the staff were extremely accommodating and quick to address any concerns. The hotel’s location is also great, just a few minutes from Nizami.

There were lots of pubs and convenience stores close by. The breakfast servesd was pretty standard. We had a connected room with one bathroom. The room was very comfortable The hotel gives off good vibes

We went to this hotel for our holiday in Norouz and we really surprised by the level of high quality services and behaviours of employees. Also, the facilities of rooms was perfect and very clean

It is located in a very beautiful area,I think this hotel is the best hotel for this price, this hotel can be even better.

And we waited for an hour for someone to come and show us the way In :/ Please contact them in advance to understand the entrance. Because of the construction, our balcony view was also limited

Despite this hotel is inside Nizami Street, There was road construction going on the street in front of this hotel. Due to which we couldn’t find the hotel entrance

They also gave us a free upgrade to room with balcony. The receptionist was very enthusiastic and helped us in every query

The hotel does not have lift but the receptionist helped us taking one of the bags

It is the most upscale community in Baku. It is close to the sea on one side and has a landscape park. It is surrounded by not only high-end shopping malls but also pedestrian streets

Would highly recommend this place. I took a private room for around 4 days and had a very pleasant experience. The location is convenient and the staff is helpful

The lady boss is very nice. She prefers Asians. Hahaha. I recommend everyone to go. Azerbaijani people are very warm-hearted. I also met many interesting Arabs in the youth hostel.

The theater and museum are also close to the subway station. It is very rare to be able to open a youth hostel here! The staff are also very nice

The front desk is serious and responsible, and the aunt's hygiene work is very good. Well-equipped and powerful! Like it very much

Would suggest that they have another bank provider so that cards can be used if one bank has a technical issue

- The road right outside the hotel has a bus stop. - The hotel has its own restaurant on the top floor. - A huge mart is on 4 mins of walking distance - This street has bars and drink shops too

- So many tourist attractions are within walking distance including Boulevard, Mall, Baku Eye, Flag, Iconic Flame towers, carpet meusem and so many more. - Old city is on 8-10 mins of drive

What an amazing experience and the most helpful staff, especially Ilqar who helped me with the late check-in, buses, cabs as well as local restaraunt recommendations

the breakfast however was a complete letdown and very basic with same food for an entire week we stayed there. This hotel goes by multiple names Overall, if ur staying for 2-3 days , this place is ok

The rooms were overall clean and well kept. The housekeeping staff was really doing a great job keeping the place neat

The owner is very friendly, the room is very good ,this hostel is in the city center, I was there for 10 days I felt like home

Depending on the location of my bed (the top bunk), the outlets may be far away, so if you bring a long cable, you should be able to charge your phone without any problems

The facilities are a little old, but the price is reasonable. There are restaurants and massage parlors nearby, so it's recommended for those who want to save money.

Few of the staff does not speak English well but you can use Google #translation to Azeri. The breakfast is not buffet and is the same everyday offered by #Argentina steakhouse resto

It is walking distance to $Nazimi St. and fountain square where most people go. It is beautiful to walk at night there and it is where most bars, markets, #Mcdonalds are situated

I did not expect the room to be quite #small. Theu does not have any lift or #elevator so it is quite tiring to go up and down with lots of luggages plus a baby

Helpful and she gave us her metro card to use. Breakfast is small, they have only one bathroom. And sometimes you had to wait. But people smoke inside it :/

Despite the splendor of the city, its ancient architectural structures, pleasant squares and coastal boulevard, my daughter and I went to the hotel as if it were the best oasis, a wonderful island for rest and privacy

We would like to note that this hotel is for very budget tourists! But the rooms are clean and have everything you need (hairdryer, iron, kettle can be asked at the reception) The photo shows a large double room with one double bed

The quality of the rooms is good, but the mattresses on the beds are simply amazing. They are created for rest and enjoyment of sleep). What would I change? Nothing, you don’t even need a TV here when there is Wi-Fi

Have you ever hugged the administrator as if you were a family member when checking out?!) This is possible here)) They will always help, answer your questions, etc

As for the service, it was simply an oriental fairy tale. We were always greeted with freshly brewed aromatic tea and pleasant communication with the staff

My daughter missed a hair dryer, but this can be fixed. And yes, the prices are very reasonable

We felt so welcome here that we stayed our whole time in Baku here we highly recommended the breakfast included is perfect and will fill you a lot! Also the rooms are clean and you have snacks the whole day ☕ and tea

The location of the hotel is great too it's located at the heart of all the good places. You can walk around and visit all the best places around. I would definitely recommend and come here again for my visit in Baku
