Apart Complex Aquamarine in Obzor

Nice pool that is to cold to swim in, nice rooms even though the blinds and sofa are splattered with blood, nice view of the three separate abbandend building sites, nice trip from the airport we played spot the prostitute on the way. Best day was when we left for the airport!

A very dirty place, full with ants on the floor and broken stuff in the bathroom. The place is in the woods far from the center and the beach. No wi-fi in the rooms. The staff spoke only Russian and was terribly unwelcoming. We waited for more than an hour in the reception and more than 5 hours for a room. The food was disgusting.

Staff not helpful, not friendly and looks not motivated.
There was a broken glass in our room that our baby dog was about to eat.
Dirty bedroom with cobwebs, dead spiders and mosquitos. We brought our own sheets.
Towels were smelling good.
The pool was not well maintained and there were bugs inside. The night view of the pool, though, was great!
The bathroom had stains and big spots in the corners, plus the sink was covered with caulking. The AC was not working even though there were batteries in the remote.

—Directions—
As you leave Obzor you have to turn left on a road which first seams ok, but it gets worse and worse.

—Parking—
There are not enough parking possibilities. There are some parking lots but they are either hard to reach or hard to park in. Once we went out and came back late so we had to park it on the street. The morning after we had a scratch. The staff didn’t seem to be very keen on helping us. They didn’t even told us the same: The one told us that they have to wait for a security company to check the cams, the other said that this wouldn’t be necessary at all and the other tried to convince us that the trees were covering the car...

—Reception and Staff—
When we first got there they didn’t even found our reservation. After some searching they did and as we had some requests, they didn’t really understood what we were trying to say and tried to speak with us Bulgarian which, as they knew, we didn’t understand. Some of the hotels staff were friendly but some gave us the impression not to care about us.

—Rooms—
The rooms are ok. You get what you pay for. The bathroom is a whole another story which leads me to the inadequate hygiene of the hotel. The maids didn’t really clean things up, just brought new towels and toilet paper. We had to clean the bathroom because of bad cleaning (or no cleaning at all). And Btw in the rooms you don’t have WiFi signal. And the WiFi you have downstairs is slow and sometimes not even working.

—Food—
The breakfast was the same every day. I’m not complaining about that, but what I am complaining about is the small variety of things you have at the buffet and you have to choose from every day. And the dinner comes also with a small variety of foods but with a different cooked dish every evening. This cooked dish is brought you from the kitchen as you sit down and isn’t always good/delicious.

—Pool—
The pool was very good actually. It wasn’t that cold, sometimes even warm. The kids didn’t really disturb, just one or two times in our 4 days stay. You even have Pool WiFi which sometimes worked better than the hotel WiFi. The only two problems were that there aren’t enough deck chairs which made some of the guests sitting at the tables outside... And one day I was laying down on on a deck chair and saw this (check photo). It’s just disgusting to see something like this popping up in front of your face.

—Beach—
The beach view is beautiful, the beach is not. You have to walk (as said by the receptionist) 150 meters to the beach. Those 150 meters are mostly stairs on which you think you’ll fall down any minute. At the beach there aren’t also enough deck chairs. The beach itself is dirty and the sand is mostly tiny rocks.

—Conclusion—
If you’re searching for something cheap, here you have it, but if you’re searching for something above 2 Stars in Room, Food or location, you’re totally wrong. This hotel is good if you’re searching for a place to sleep on the way home or on the way to an other destination, nothing else.
