Hotel Lotos in Kiten

I was there last year and it was not good at all. We were subjected to 24 hours of screaming, banging and moving beds in the middle of the night. The beds are terribly uncomfortable. I hope the new owners change this. I wish them success in their complete renovation of the hotel!

We booked a few days stay at Green Palace. In the pictures on Booking the rooms looked welcoming and clean, in reality it was not at all like that. The beds were old with uncomfortable mattresses, creaky wardrobes, the windows were fixed so they wouldn't open, no blinds or blackout curtains, the door to the terrace was broken and difficult to lock.., the mirror glass on the bathroom door had fingerprints of all those who had been on holiday during the season😂. The seals on the same door were half removed, and the rest was moldy.. there are not even towel hangers or a stand for accessories in the bathroom. The door handles are broken. Sheets and towels are not changed. The breakfast / buffet table is a complete tragedy. Dirty tablecloths, cheap sausages and sour tomatoes. There is no fruit!! If only there were no fruit. Steep and uncomfortable winding stairs, which are difficult for two people to pass.
During our short stay, there was a student camp that we were not warned about… and on and on. Only the staff was kind and smiling!

Hopefully what I wrote will reach future customers and they won't become current customers of this kind of hotel!
The story is: 4 friends reserve a room for 1 night for 130 leva, check-in is after 2:30 pm, we arrive at 5:00 pm, they check us in, there is no hot water, they check us in another room, again there is no hot water, they check us in a third room, there is already hot water, but there is a new problem.... the situation is like this, one of us decided to sit on the bed to put on his shoes and the bed collapsed (about 75 kg person), the problem is that the situation happens to us at 1:00 am, the "guard" of the hotel pretended to talk to the boss, but in fact he was the boss, some terrible circuses and lies, we had a suggestion from him to go somewhere else as a solution to the problem........ Apparently clean sheets and hot water were too big a luxury and in this "hotel" THEY ARE NOT OFFERED! The story ends with them refunding us the money, which It doesn't make us happy or reassure us, because we just wanted to pay for 1 night, hot water, and comfortable beds! We hope more people read our experience before it is deleted...
