lovely pool area too with outdoor bar and food available. Not too busy although we were there just at the start of the season. If you're not so keen on the big noisy hotels of Sunny Beach this one is for you

The service is great, the distance to the beach is 30 seconds walk, and there is a beautiful view and swimming pool

We are in another hotel but we wanted a snack, my son loves onion rings, while passing by on our way to the beach we stopped to have some, the garlic prawns were excellent and the chicken sticks and chips very good and of course the onion rings! Everything was excellent, fresh and good, keep up the good work!

We love Blue Bay and we go back almost every year. Great location - the beach is literally 30 seconds away. View is beautiful as well as you can see the beach front. Rooms are clean and maintained all the time

Lovely small hotel in a quiet area of sunny beach. All the staff were exceptional, and a special thank you to our cleaners . If you want a hotel with peace and quiet overlooking the beach, this is perfect.

Large hotel on Sunny Beach, plenty of sunbeds, 2 large pools, reasonable sized room with large shower but quite small balcony although some rooms do have larger balconies

There’s no private beach but you can walk 2 minutes to a section where you pay for loungers and umbrellas. Two pools, one quieter than the other and no children

Nice hotel, great room but the food wasn’t so good. Location is good if you want to go onto the main strip of Sunny Beach, you’re literally next door to it

we came to the hotel for my 50th birthday staff provided nice bottle of champagne with 2 flute glasses nice touch. will be definitely coming back next year

We had a great stay and didn’t run into any issues at all. The hotel has everything you need — a lovely garden, friendly and helpful staff, and a nice clean pool. The bar prices were also totally reasonable

In front of the hotel on the beach there is a beach bar and massages. The beach there is perfect!! And the price is small for that you get there ! Best vacation !!!

It's a very busy part of town so if you want to be in the mix this is where you should go if you want a quieter stay look and going much further up the strip where it is a more sleepy vibe, but I've got no complaints thanks for the great memories

We went to go see the Freddy Mercury tribute act thought we'd have dinner we had starter dinner dessert cocktails was amazing large portions only thing I didn't like was starters came out 5 mins later main course brought out so buy time we ate starter dinner was cold amazing food though x

Had a great night out with friends. Music fantastic 4 piece band. Food lovely and not bad price. Will be visiting again and have promoted it on my large page

People were very nice which is very unusual for Bulgaria. Room was comfortable and location was great.

Love this place, been here so many years. Staff are so genuine friendly and helpfull. Near so supermarket, around 4 minutes walking maximum. Around 10-12 minutes walking to the beach

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Bobs bar is great for late drinks and a laugh. Very family friendly with everyone catered for. Forget all the fancy hotels this is the place to stay.

I stayed here with my wife in September and we loved the complex. It is about 15 mins from the strip and beach so when we returned at night it was quiet and relaxing so sleep was guaranteed

Overall if I was to go back to Sunny Beach, it will definitely be a stay at Hotel Lira

We have not stayed here but have eaten here twice. On both occasions we were impressed with the variety of dishes, quality of food and definitely the quantity which was very generous

A 5-10 minute walk from the beachfront where the tourists swarm by the overpriced markets (hehe, do your shopping further inland where the locals roam), roughly the same distance to the nearest Lidl where I did most of my shopping (not overpriced, but still slightly higher than the prices in Portugal's Lidls) and a 15 minute walk from the Action Aquapark I visited on my final day in Sunny Beach

The food was very reasonably priced and served to us by such friendly staff. The restaurant is both inside and outdoor in a quiet street which made it such a pleasure to eat here

This constitutes an invasion of privacy and serves as a good reminder why you ought to take your valuables with you each time you step outside (I stored my cash, phone and ID/passport in a pouch) as you might notice that any cash you leave on the table may vanish (not accusing any of the hotel cleaners, but you never know

For what it's worth, I'm pleased with the facilities there; stable internet in the rooms, fridge, freezer and the lobby having both cold and hot self-service water dispensers (the cold one saved me from having to buy my own drinking water and I used the hot one for instant noodles and soups at night)

Iron and ironing board located in hall way for guests use Frige very cold but noisy Chairs and table on patio Shampoo and soap were provided The walls were thin, especially when guests returning from nights out I found the hotel to be very clean and well maintained Pool was lovely, not many loungers, but it wasn't overcrowded, so I easily got one

New beds and are extremely comfortable clean bedding but dated design Satellite TV with plenty of options, even movie channels. Kettle and hairdryer had to ask at reception, but we're provided straight away

Nice accommodation in a nice location Positive: one spit from the beach, nice staff, you can pay by bank card. Negative: it has only been used since the handover. Wifi only on the ground floor

Great hotel with awesome terrace, close to the beach (actually first line) and away from the noisy center with discos clubs and pubs. It has swimming pool, also really nice restaurant downstairs

The beach is less crowded that the center of Sunny Beach (Slnchev bryag). Walkable distance to Sveti Vlas (Sveti Vlas). Also you can rent a bike from the Rent-a-car downstairs and reach the old town of Nessabar

The pool is nice, the foog and the bar is great, but the best thing is the staff. Every worker there is very friendly, especially the animator.

Did not stay here, but used their pool. 5e entrance pp. Very helpful receptionist. Not enough bins around the pool, people keep leaving rubish on floor, shame.

The room was cleaned everyday, with fresh towels and bedding regularly. Communal areas was clean and tidy. We booked Bed and Breakfast, the staff were humbled by our thank yous. It is at the quieter end of Sunny Beach

Not really a hostel, doesn't have a kitchen for instance. Our room was pretty small and a bit run down. The pool area is nice and the staff friendly though.

Well our 5th visit to hotel Step is complete, we were there for a 50th birthday. This hotel went above and beyond for us during our stay. Allocated the biggest studio, free drinks and chocolates on arrival

Great little 3 star hotel, every member off staff were so welcoming and friendly, rooms spotlessly clean, very basic, but had everything a self catering apartment needed, a local supermarket 150 yards away, and an eaterie named Valencia which served super delicious food, and was amazingly so cheap

Food at Hotel Step was also very very good, as was their beer, around the swimming pool I personally thought, it needed slight maintenance as to regarding looking a bit tired, also location wise around a 15 mins walk to the main strip, I would highly recommend this Hotel, and we definitely going to be coming back here next year, a 5 mins walk away is a bar and restaurant called the cross roads which...

Unfortunately we can't go back next year due to circumstances but we will hopefully be back in 2027. If your looking for a hotel that has staff that will go the extra mile look no further

We usually had no problem getting a sunbed at the pool next to our block, only downside was having to go down early to put your towels on. We stayed bed and breakfast but only had one breakfast

Felt very safe away from the hustle and bustle of Sunny Beach within a gated resort. Multiple pools to keep the kids busy, a great supermarket and coffee shop onsite which were rather cheap

My 16 year old daughter and I loved this resort. We visited Aug 25 so high season. We booked a large delux studio with Jet2. The accommodation was brilliant

Fortunately we were right next to the last pool with the bar (we don't have kids) The complex is massive, thank god thry give you a map!! We were self catering, but didnt use the restaurants on site so carnt comment on them

Very modern and spacious with a huge balcony (we were on 6th floor). Lots of supermarkets and restaurants in immediate area or it was a 10 minute walk to the beach front with lots more restaurants and bars

Food was lovely and staff friendly. Alot of comments from others reviews about poor cleaning, lack of towels etc. We had clean towels every other day

There were loads of sun loungers and 2 pools to choose from. There’s a bakers on site and a small supermarket

Pros: we stayed in s 1-bedroom apartment and we had plenty of room. Loads of hanging space, big dining area and sitting area. Very comfortable inside and out and could have slept 2 & 2 kids easily

There is security at the gate so always felt very safe and ALL the staff were lovely from reception to bar!! If you want bingo or other entertainment on site then this is not the place for you

Sheets changed 3 times in 14 days and towels changed as often as you wanted (they were a bit thin) There’s a Lidl 5 mins away (turn left as you leave) and a Carrafour if you turn right
