Rooms are great, facilities are ok and clean, although if the hotel gets full I'm not sure how it will handle the guests (pools are crammed with about 20-25 people). Staff is polite. I really don't understand why the owners don't update the information about the hotel. It is a top 5 stars hotel, not 3 stars as it is written. I've been to 34 countries, and this is the best mountain hotel ever been to. It has also some Michelin accreditations. The service and the facilities in the hotel are the same level as the top 5 stars hotels in the Alps.

Kashmir is most likely the best SPA resort in Bulgaria (together with Zornitza). The facility is great, SPA zone is also outstanding, it is very clean & very cozy. You can't go wrong with them. The hotel needs a refreshing renovation, especially the spa center, which I don't think can accommodate the number of people. There were two wave pools that were not working and were not even covered. Five or six years ago, it might have been a five-star hotel. The only positive aspect now is the food that is offered. I've just spent a 4 day break (paid for 3) at the maxi spa hotel. The first impression as we walked into the hotel was great! Beautiful decor maybe a little dated but that's not unusual in Bulgaria. Located near the Kleptuza lake in Velingrad, Bulgaria, this place is perfect to visit with your adult parents - the aqua jets are designed to massage the entire body, and specifically feet, shoulders, and back, parts that need the special mineral water treatment, so the peripheral nerve system is reenergized. The local food is fresh and delicious, and the staff is very friendly.

The place is perfect for couples or families . We had a really good time during our stay. The rooms, food and service were very good. The staff was very friendly and helpful, taking care of everyone. One of the best and oldest spas in Velingrad. You are in an old style 5 star Hotel, but the genuine version. The rooms are pretty spacious, the bathroom as well. It is very clean with some minor exceptions. The bathrooms need some cleaning - showers have mold. It is also not a smoke-free hotel. People smoke on the balconies, so the smoke gets into the adjacent rooms. It also hosts events, which is great but could get noizy at times for the guests. It does have great views and staff is very friendly. The restaurant is pricey for what it offers. I guess that's why it is quite empty in the evenings.

Very nice hotel. We come here for the second time. Nice and clear rooms. Good Spa center. Separation for little children and families came here to relax. Very delicious food -sea food, shrimps, salmon and etc. Will visit soon again.

Hotel is nice, pools really awesome, but the service really lacks behind. The SPA area accepts only cash and never has small change. Then it is the client duty to go and look for small change or he is not allowed to order. With the prices on all products - one would think the POS fee is covered even if I order just a coffee.

I visit every few months as an outside guest mainly to use their spa complex, which is the biggest in Velingrad (I think) I am very pleased with the experience.

We went on our summer holiday in Aura hotel in Velingrad for a few days. It's a lovely hotel with one big pool and a few small ones all with mineral water. Food was delicious. We took opportunity of spa procedures and it was great. Highly recommended.

Looking nice, calm and clean. Pools are small and not overcrowded. Greek style outdoors - statues, chairs, colours. Staff was very busy but nice. 20lv is the fee for using the pools when you are not a guest of 5he hotel. Which is OK but should be adjusted depending on the time you want to use it. Restaurant had almost no visitors in the afternoon.

Lovely clean and well kept hotel. The rooms are modern and specious with a fantastic balcony. The only downside for me was the temperature of the outdoor pool. It was too cold, impossible to use in October. The indoor pool was rather cold too, around 30C. The food was ok. The diner was mostly cooked meat and fresh salad, no choice or rise or potatoes dishes.

It's definitely not worth the four stars category. Rooms are OK, but nothing special. The main disadvantages - SPA is one of the worst I have ever been. The pool is so small, practically you can only stand still there if more than 5 person are in at the same time. The sauna is also very small and it's only dry with no watering. The food is simply not good at all. Very poor quality.

Dangerous stairs in wet/cold weather. Good hair stylist.
