Dislikes:
· Spa area is very small and needs a major update. For a 5* hotel - it's a joke. Small indoor pool, very old facilities, no safety whatsoever. Also, the cleanliness of the pool is a major concern. The outdoors jet tubs and the services offered are subpar - same as being in an inflatable pool in someone's backyard.
Everything in the rooms is flashy and kitsch and over the top while out of place at the same time. Carpets feel unclean and very dusty. The "gold" detail prevails everywhere, but it only makes the hotel look way too old and excessive while trying to be flashy....
Breakfast is not 5* at all.
Bathrooms are old and need renovation - old shower heads, water flooding the bathroom floors, water pressure very low and changing unexpectedly. Bathroom space very small and the lack of space makes you feel uncomfortable. TV service and Internet are also BAD - unprecedented for 5* hotel in 21st century.
All other amenities in the hotel badly need attention - no way this is a 5* hotel. I would rather give it 2-3 stars tops.
However, room rates are very high and not worth spending the money. Save your money and go somewhere else for half the amount you'll spend in here.

A nice hotel, but definitely not a 5-star one.

The rooms are OK, but they need maintenance. For example in ours the air-conditioning was not working (and it was a really old Midea one), so I had to request a heater (3 times).

The toiler was leaking as well, which was a bit annoying (because of the sound it was making), but as long as you keep the door to the bathroom closed - this wasn't a problem.

Nice pool and SPA, but not convenient for small kids. No inside kids pool as well.

Overall - a nice hotel, but a bit overpriced for what they offer.

We only used the restaurant, so I have no clue what the rooms look like. As for the restaurant, food was delicious, it was well above our expectations. The place looks classy, no one minded we had our ski gear on. I gave overall 3 stars for 2 reasons. 1. The waiter confused and served my daughter's pizza to the table beside us, she had to wait another 30 minutes, I know it happens. 2. The price of the soup was 10 leva. For a traditional bean soup, that's almost 3 times the price of what you should pay.

I recently stayed at Hotel Rich in Velingrad and found the experience to be quite disappointing. The price is significantly overestimated for what is offered. The hotel is not well-maintained, and cleanliness is lacking. I expected much better for the cost.

The staff were incredibly professional and friendly, and treated us with the upmost respect. The SPA center is a bit small, but it’s well maintained and very clean. We were lucky to stay in the hotel whenever it wasn’t very crowded. We couldn’t try the piano bar sadly as didn’t work on weekdays, but the staff gave us a tour of it and it seemed marvellous. The hotel overall is amazing and we would definitely book again.

That was my worst vacation ever
Rooms are clean,nice personal,but the pools are dirty a lot of gipsy guys they go to into the pool with clothes no one use flip flops when they’re going out, a young gipses come in with dirty shoes from outside to ask you for money
You can’t relax neighbours are very loud during a night time
And nobody cares about you stay
There are care only to get your money
Stay away from this hotel

Not a first visit and still keep quality. Very friendly staff. Nice mineral pools. Amazing food. Good location with parking. Rooms are very well equipped with kettle, coffe, tea, conditioner, cleansing milk, shoe sponge even shoe horn and slippers. Deffinatly prepared for every occasion.
