Mitko was super helpful and attentive. He gave his knowledge of Plovdiv and an explanation of the city and where to go on the map. Lots of great local advice. Great breakfast and he always makes sure you have everything you need. It has a great location for the ancient theatre, which I was there to see concerts at. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed as a solo traveller for the price.

Had a great stay here. Mitko is extraordinary friendly and open to help his guests. The location is in the old town that everyone desires to visit when coming to Plovdiv. The location is clean with everything that is basically needed. Recommend to visit this hotel.

As all the reviews show, the hotel's location is ideal, just inside the old town. See the photo. Parking is safe at the hotel. Our room, including the bathroom, was spacious, clean, and practically new. With the windows closed, you can't hear any street noise and sleep wonderfully under the duvet and blanket.
And then there's Mitko, the owner, whom you can ask anything. You don't have to, because you can just walk in and out, have breakfast in the restaurant in the morning, and go your own way. But then you miss out on the tips, the explanations, the vision, the stories, and therefore the icing on the cake :)

The owner was super friendly as you combine this fact with a secured hotel very nice rooms and a perfect location it’s basically the best place you can get to enjoy the old city.
The information given by the owner helps make the trip even more enjoyable as you don’t waste time at the wrong places.
For me it was a 5 star experience.
If I will ever come back to Plovdiv that’s for sure the place to stay in.

The host, Mitko, went out of his way to accommodate me. He made sure I was parked in a good place right at the old town boundary. Mitko gave me a quick introduction to the lay of the land in Plovdiv, pointing out the best sights and restaurants. He also gave an orientation of the room. Breakfast was pretty much a customized individual order, an omelette on day one and french toast on day two. The room was very comfortable in early October with screened windows open and no need for AC. The second floor room received ample hot water after letting the water run for a minute. Couldn't have asked for a more pleasant stay in Plovdiv.

Best thing about stay was Mitko, our host. Excellent information about town and Bulgaria. Best we’ve encountered. Cooked special local breakfasts. Room simple with all you need and good bathroom. Bed firm and no decor but restaurant recommendations etc enhanced our trip. Well travelled interesting man.
