We have been as Family for 7 days in this hotel. The rooms are clean and offer pleanty of space. The hotel is in walking diatance to the city center
Hotel is close to the city center, yet in a quiet location where you don't get disturbed by anything
Sam So Villa was a cozy clean place. The staff were very friendly and nice people. They were very attentive to the guests needs and was very hospitable. This place was very close to the old market and the night market
The reception by owner and staff was very good. The place is hidden among local houses which was a surprise and not among other hotels. The vote is nice in appearance
The people in Cambodia are all friendly but the service and friendliness at Sam So was next level. So charming and sunny, so helpful and polite
Wonderful hotel, hosts are very nice and helpful. Great swimming pool and room, both very clean. Comfortable bed, good homemade breakfast
Siem Reap, Sala Kanseng Village (in the centre) 🧭 Map
It's also very convenient for getting to Angkor Wat and the city center
Speaking of which, I have to mention that when I arrived on my first day, I asked the owner if they had bicycles for rent (I think some hotels do?)
The owner simply said I could use his motorcycle and even taught me how to use it 😊. Very thoughtful (although I noticed that unlike motorcycles in China, it needs to have kickstands to start—a nice detail)
The only thing we struggled with, was the internet in the room. The reception is terrible and we had to go work in the restaurant downstairs
The room was very comfortable and had hot water (which is very important for people who need hot water for showering)
Highly recommend it! (I didn’t take any photos of the hotel, only commemorative photos with the boss)
Thoughtfully added in English😊
This is a small hotel, I live on the first floor, the room is very comfortable, there is hot water (people who need hot water to take a bath think it is very important), the hotel provides mineral water every day and has a hair dryer (I brought 😂 my own) The details are...
Siem Reap, Behind Le Meridian Road (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
It is an energetic 10 minute tuk-tuk ride from the central markets, bars and restaurants. Likewise – 10 minutes from the Angkor National Park and the spectacular sights this significant historical region has to offer
The rooms were nice, the breakfast buffet was excellent and I'm a man that knows his way around a buffet. The poolside is nice and the service was by far the best part. Everyone is super nice and helpful
Personal, Small, Friendly
We had a long stay at Siddartha Boutique Hotel – from 21 December 2017 until 3 January 2018. This is an incredibly friendly and relaxing place to spend a couple of weeks
However, if you are looking for somewhere personal, friendly, quiet, a created air of faded French colonial chic, with cool refreshing cocktails by the pool after a dusty day temple bagging and ‘tomb raiding’ – then this is the place for you
All the staff at the hotel were genuinely friendly and helpful - our sincerest thanks to Mr Pheaktra and his superb and helpful team for taking care of us and we look forward to the next time
This is our second stay within this small group of hotels in the Siem Reap area – previously we stayed at the Pavillon d ’Orient

Great value for money. The hotel is untidy (cleaning materials and linen everywhere, but everything worked. Dated but working. The pool area was very scruffy. Ver basic breakfast (eggs),
Hotel is nice opportunity to spend time at trip to Cambodia. Pool, billiards, warm service and friendly staff.I appreciate it so much
The pool area is lovely, with a bar and a pool table. Laundry service is available, and the included breakfast with coffee/tea made mornings super easy
Very nice staff breakfast was good room was clean and in a good location
Great value for the money at this hotel. I was gonna stay for 5 days but stayed for almost a month. Friendly English speaking staff, clean pool with bar, included breakfast and simple yet clean rooms
They have a tuktuk to help go to Angkor Wat. Breakfast is the okay fir Western and Asian Travellers. It's the same menu everyday so if you're staying for 3N that should be fine

I have been traveling to Cambodia so many time every time I’m in Siem Reap this the only place I check in reason being because it cheap nice clean place center of a town and a good customer service.
Housekeeping staff were friendly but the guy receptionist wasn't maybe because of the language barrier. Never mind the tv and the channels, the thing that matter is my son enjoyed
Nice location .
Clean room.
Big car parking
Friendly stuff
Good location and good price next door great coffee shop
Very nice place with the budget
The light is not enough for reading book. There is a small kitchen area that is well design, good for cook if come in family. It can be used for hand laundry there
Siem Reap, #261, Group 07, Salakanseng Village (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Everything okay. Perfect location, nice pool, simple breakfast from card. Probably will stay again if I’ll have 2 visit Siĕm Reap
Very good location in the city center and not far from Angkor Wat.
great place to be there , such a nice hotel to live in. the owner and service are so nice
Excellent hotel. It's better to book with breakfast included.
Room and hotel was nice, only things which ****** was mosquitos in room and when you leave the power shuts off so you can’t keep anything in the fridge, and the tv is an old box, only one outlet worked. 7.5/10
Amenities
Body and hair shampoo are not provided, only disposable toothbrushes and 2 pieces of small hand soap. There are mosquitoes, so one needs repellent to ward off the pesky insects
Siem Reap, 456, Sok San Street,Khum Svaydongkum (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The staff is outstanding and helping. I would recommend this place and Cambodia overall. It’s a complete package with food, sightseeing safe and such smiling and helpful friendly people
From the moment you arrive until you leave, staff are wonderful friendly, helpful and very attentive. wifi is good for work even the location is only 8 minutes walked to the city center and pub street
- Rooms were clean and spacious
- Great Breakfast
- Pool was okay but needs some fixing up
- Staff was amazing! very friendly and helpful
- Very walkable
Good location and quiet, despite being a short walk to the attraction area. The staff were lovely and can help you with recommendations in the local area
I would gladly stay here again and can highly recommend this hotel
Breakfast was great and yummy. Room was clean and neat and comfortable with reasonable price
Siem Reap, 225 River Road,Siem Reap, Cambodia (in the centre) 🧭 Map
They provide you with water and toiletries daily, it's a 10 to 15 minutes from the centre, and it's a scenic walk. Great value for the money, and I've extended twice
being away from the tourist area may not suit everyone but it's only a short tuk tuk ride to pub street I highly recommend River retreat it's felt like home relaxing came easy the staff are friendly and always had a smile on their faces I am planning to return to Cambodia and River retreat will be my first choice to stay
From the attention to detail in arranging our tours and guides from hosts Jennifer and Sergio, to the faultless service and most incredible welcoming (like we were family) by the Cambodian staff of Soso, Eng, Sammut, Darwin, Pek and the most incredible Tuk Tuk driver in Vuthy
What a delightfully incredible place. It has been tastefully renovated to perfection certainly recently, and it oozes the charm of the surrounding jungle and love all the plants at the front of the hotel
The rooms were warm and inviting and air conditioning super cold. Meals were top notch and we ended up eating in more than intended because there was a great spread of cuisines and pretty hard to fault
Fab food - chef makes some of the best tofu pad Thai n fried spring rolls. We went there three times n Jen n Sergio were so welcoming. Just a chill spot by the river in Siem Reap

My stay at Sam So Guest House was second from none. The staff is very good and very helpful. The place is right at the centre of the city, one can walk to different places from the city centre
A simple hostel, but it really checks every box you could ask for. Rooms are clean and comfortable, towels and water are refreshed every day. The breakfast is simple, but very tasty and well presented
This year we returned to Siem Reap to visit Tonle Sap and, as a matter of fact, we also returned to Sam So. They were all so happy to welcome us again and provided a heartful and touching welcome
Sam So, his lovely wife and the rest of the family/staff do their very best to provide a home to their guests. The rooms are basic and large, yet clean and provide everything one needs
If you do not need a luxury hotel, I strongly recommend to stay at Sam So
I exchange money to the woman in the front desk and she gave me 1000 bills instead 10000 it was my very first day there so I was not aware of how the money looks like. I lost USD 10 is not much but I didn’t like it

What makes this place special isn’t just the space, though. From the moment we arrived, we weren’t simply welcomed; we were taken in. The staff go far beyond five-star service
Great hotel, great swimming pool. The rooms is exceptionally good with a mid-range price for a hotel. But the room is just like a room in a 5 stars hotel.

Reveal Angkor Hotel was our home away from home. Not just somewhere we stayed, but a true oasis after long days wandering temples and jungle paths
Tucked just off the main road, it feels like the kind of jungle-temple hotel people imagine when they dream of Angkor. lush, calm, and quietly beautiful. without ever feeling removed from the world around it
It’s the kind of place you come back to at the end of the day and exhale. Poolside mornings, quiet evenings, the feeling of being looked after without being hovered over. Comfort, calm, and care in perfect balance
This is one of the best pools for families. The water is clean, the safety measures are well managed, and there’s plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. My family had a great time, and the kids loved it

Second time I’ve been here. Quiet location and close to the city centre by tuktuk. The staff is very friendly and hospitable, rooms are clean.
Great air conditioning to recover from those hot Angkor days! Awesome pool area, and there is a "7/11" attached to the hotel for your last minute needs!!! Cannot say enough about how great this place is!
We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The service was excellent, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The package offered by the hotel helped us save money while staying within our budget
Fantastic shop next to the hotel.
Darya was very helpful l. The matcha latte is delicious and she helped to give us change in us dollars. Would definitely recommend this little shop
We came to this hotel for the 7th time. Located near Sok San road and its many cheap little restaurants. Not far from the old market and pub street. Very nice little swimming pool
Rooms are clean and comfortable also service very good, politely and friendly staff. Lastly the location is nearly Pub street, only need 5min to be there.

I booked a retreat involving a 6-day stay at the Green Leaf Boutique hotel which is slightly outside of the busy city center of Siem Reap
The hotel is well run by Mr Lin and his very pleasant and competent staff who can all speak English. It is a small intimate hotel with spacious accommodation and swimming in the central court yard
The whole experience indeed exceeded any expectation!
Kudos to the General Manager Lin for leading such a great Team delivering a truly valuable product & service!
Concept is second to none, location & atmosphere are perfect, food delicious, Staff friendly, courteous & very attentive!
Vicky, the yoga instructor is passionate, warm & very committed to go above & beyond the regular classes!

An accidental last minute find that ended up being the exact thing I needed to relax and hide from the world. The staff people were wonderfully helpful - so appreciated since I had not researched or planned anything
There are only ten or so rooms, meaning no crazy bustle or a packed pool. There are cats! And beautiful murals. The mini fridge was perfect to chill damp washcloths for a nice cool down from the heat
The food and drinks were very good. I‘ll be looking for a place like this everywhere I travel. And maybe I’ll return to this oasis again!

Lovely staff, very nice room with great comfortable beds. Room was impeccably clean and there was a daily room service. Also had cable tv with some channels in English- a bonus for us after 3 months of travelling
About 8 minutes leisure walking distance to town centre
We stayed an extra day because it was so luxury for us but for such a reasonable price (aka cheap for the standard of service you receive!)
Overall, great experience. The staff are very respectful. Clean and quite environment. Walking distance from pubstreet.
Would stay here again for sure! Nice fresh breakfast too - eggs and bread or delicious fresh fruit
Low density recent built boutique villa hotel owned by a humble local lady. Room and bathroom is spacious, clean with necessary amenity of quality. Quite as it is located just off the main road
Siem Reap, Wat Damnak Village Sala Kamreuk Commune (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The door was constantly slammed and there was constant loud talking in the hallway until early in the morning and early in the morning at 6 it started again. Nobody from the hotel looked after the right one
Amenities, refrigerators, hair dryers, etc. are perfect. If only the staff were a little more conscious...
There is a very friendly staff, and they have made a great reception! They offer some features in the rooms like coffee, tea and hot water, and this is really very enjoyable! On the other hand, there are some minor details that I was a bit disappointed during my stay
They showed no decency even after complaining. I've never been so happy to own Airpods pro with Nois canceling. otherwise I would have been completely freaked out because I couldn't sleep
Both room doors were not tight and had gaps. Next to the hotel there is a bar with live music. Depending on the day of the week, this can degenerate and be very annoying at night
It had a kettle, 2 complimentary bottles of water, shampoo etc, hair dryer. Toilet paper was very sparsely refilled. I had to plug in the refrigerator myself first

Arrived last night and really enjoying the stay. A wonderful man named Lyhong picked us up from the airport and the tuk tuk ride was amazing. This morning he rode us to Angkor Wat
Very nice place to stayed, 3 minutes walk to Pub Street, night market & old market earear
Location is east side of river.
Lovely man and I'm really happy to have met him. My nieces enjoyed his company too
Very nice staff and hostel. Only issue is that if someone washes their hands while you're in the shower or toilet, the water comes into your stall.
Good, clean, swimming pool at first floor
The bad:
Staff missed to organize fresh drinking water and fruits for breakfast. There is obviously no planning in advance. The facilities are clean but a lot of them are close to break, old and not maintained

Bun Kao - Thank you for welcoming me into your home. Even though it was only for a short stay, you made the experience such a pleasant one. Even when busy, you are greeted with a warm friendly smile
Offering assistance when none is even needed.
What a lovely guesthouse - highly recommend 🙏🏻
Shuttles to the airport stop nearby. There was a slight misunderstanding at checkout, but everything was resolved in favor of the client. You can leave your luggage for free and wait for checkout
I absolutely loved my stay here, the room and facilities had everything i needed, great value for money, The location was great, quiet area, walking distance from the main center
The sheets were not clean and the AC did not work properly (even though we paid for this option). Furthermore, the service laundry was not good at all, as some clothes came back with even more stains...
It's a cheap hotel, but I think it's not bad for a cost-effective stay for solo travelers.
Very nice guesthouse! The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. The location is close to the city center, only a few minutes to the pub streets, etc, but without the noise.
The location is quite good, in the town center, close to Pub Street, Old Market, Riverside Night Market, and Royal Garden. Though the property is in an alley, but it's wide enough for cars and Tuktuk to go through
This is the best budget hotel, within walking distance to pub street, the riverside, the Buddha temple, parks, and more. Two young college students at the front desk are friendly, humble, curious, and eager to help
Thank you for your hospitality. I rented a bike for 3 days at $7 and used their laundry service. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free
5/5
It is situated on a dead-end road, ensuring no street noise or pollution, which allowed for a good night's sleep
Free flow drinking water is available from the dispenser near the reception counter, just the water flow is very slow. I have no idea if it's on purpose so that it doesn't run out fast. The hospitality is quite good too

i am very happy to stay here the Hotel it's small but it's beautiful and the nice pool also, i had a fresh wind over here ,like green garden of view when we are walking around the pool, the maid ensured my room was immaculate on a daily basis and the receptionist was very friendly and also extremely helpful of us,the Hotel was next to a restaurant
The Best Hotel,Excellent staff, very kind and helpful. The rooms, swimming pool and common spaces are very clean. Breakfast and transfer to the airport are included. I highly recommend to tourist to staying here.
