It's definitely an old hotel. The room was tiny, and it even had an old-fashioned fridge and washing machine. We got back late, and the front desk staff called again to arrange a late check-out for us, which we really appreciate.

For a room that cost over 400, there were no toiletries (only a tiny bar of soap), the air conditioning was incredibly noisy, and even weirder, there was no light switch by the bed! I had to get up before sleeping to turn off the light by the bathroom door (never seen that before). It's ridiculous; if it weren't such a hassle to move my luggage, I wouldn't have stayed even one night.

This place is incredibly close to Jingshan Park, where you can get a panoramic view of the Forbidden City from the top. I booked a king-sized bed, but when I arrived, they told me it was under maintenance and upgraded me without extra charge. The room was quite clean. Luggage storage is well-organized with tags, so there's no mix-up. Definitely avoid the restaurant immediately to your left when you exit; a bowl of Zhajiangmian costs 30 RMB there. Instead, walk about 200 meters to your left, and you'll find a restaurant that's much more affordable. Buns are 13 RMB for a basket, and fried dough sticks are 2 RMB each. The food is good too, and lots of people eat there – it's such a better deal than the first place!

This hotel is conveniently located near major attractions like Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the National Museum, making it a great choice for sightseeing. Taxis are readily available, and parking is also convenient.

Hotel is 1 km from from Forbidden city wall but I was very disappointed with breakfast packet provided .They don’t have buffet breakfast ,they only provide packet which has1 bread ,1 milk ,1 egg and 1 sausage.So guys don’t book breakfast option in this hotel.

The facilities are old and run-down. There wasn't even a basic tissue box in the room, and the front desk said they didn't have disposable toilet seat covers. The bed was really hard and uncomfortable, leaving me with body aches. The room was also very small. The mini-fridge was making a loud rattling noise initially, but it quieted down after we called housekeeping to remove the partition.

Not enough power outlets, and some were broken. I had to put the kettle on the floor to boil water, and the desk lamp was also broken. Toothbrushes were not provided.
