Reviews
For a family room designed for three people, they only provided two mouthwash cups and one bathrobe in the closet, which was a bit puzzling. The diverter switch for the bathtub and showerhead didn't work at all; no matter what I did, it had no effect.
Also, the trash bag I left outside the door wasn't collected all night. I hope they improve hallway patrols, as I haven't encountered this issue at other hotels.
It's conveniently located near several subway lines and close to the famous Niu Jie, making it an excellent choice for food lovers.
The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. I sprained my ankle and needed ice packs for cold compresses multiple times, and they were always delivered quickly.
The room was quite quiet and had been treated to be smoke-free, with good hygiene.
As it's an older hotel, the room facilities are a bit dated, but overall it's clean and tidily arranged.
One suggestion: The temperature in Beijing dropped suddenly, and the room's heating wasn't immediately available. Although they promptly provided a space heater after I mentioned it, its effectiveness wasn't as good as an AC, and it was quite noisy.
Overall, I still highly recommend this hotel for its good value for money.
The service was excellent. We stayed for four nights, and every day the cleaning staff tidied up, replaced our towels, and restocked toiletries. They even saw our pile of clothes and provided laundry detergent. On Mid-Autumn Festival, we returned to our room in the evening to find mooncakes left by the hotel.
It was a really thoughtful touch. I'll definitely choose Guìdū again next time I'm in Beijing, and I'll recommend it to all my friends and family.
The room comes with a desk lamp, internet port, safe, and refrigerator, which is perfect for business travelers. During my stay, I bought milk and yogurt, and the refrigerator wasn't just for show – it chilled things effectively. The facilities are comprehensive, and the curtains are remote-controlled. When checking in, I mentioned that I was with a child and hoped the beds could be pushed together. The hotel's floor attendant immediately took care of it, and after moving the beds, they even used a vacuum cleaner to clean the area, showing exceptional service. They then brought over children's toiletries. The housekeeping staff on our floor did an excellent job with daily cleaning; they were very thorough. I'm quite particular about cleanliness, and on the day of check-in, I used a tissue to test surfaces, finding no dust. Daily room cleaning was consistently well done.
On the day of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the hotel delivered mooncakes 🥮. Though it was a small gift, it showed great thoughtfulness, and I immediately felt the hotel's appreciation for its guests.
On the day of departure, a staff member named Li Yunqing helped me move my two large suitcases into the car. Due to an issue with the ride-sharing service, the two suitcases had to be moved in and then out again. Despite it raining and being close to his shift change, he didn't leave. He waited until the next shift's staff arrived before departing. The subsequent staff member then proactively helped me load my suitcases back into the car. Although I didn't get a good look at the second person's name tag, I wouldn't have been able to handle my two large suitcases on my own without his help. So, I am very grateful to these two staff members at the entrance, as well as the housekeeping staff who provided such a pleasant environment daily.
Excellent management and outstanding service truly enhanced this vacation. I'll definitely choose to stay here again when I come to Beijing. It's my top pick!
