My stay at the Oga Art Hotel during this trip to Beijing was absolutely fantastic! The location is truly unbeatable – a prime spot at 26 Dongzhimen Outer Street, directly facing the Australian and Canadian embassies. Being in the heart of the Second Embassy District provided a great sense of security and was incredibly peaceful. It's a short walk to Sanlitun Bar Street for trendy shops and nightlife, and super convenient for catching shows at Workers' Stadium or exhibitions at the Agricultural Exhibition Center. Plus, it's only a 20-minute drive to both Capital Airport and Beijing Railway Station, making travel incredibly efficient.
The most delightful surprise was the immersive art atmosphere! The hotel itself is an artistic sanctuary. The lobby is filled with European sculptures, and the hallways are adorned with exquisite oil paintings. The exclusive art gallery and the Hard Rock Art Museum are free for guests, featuring everything from Renaissance treasures to modern Chinese aesthetic exhibits. Every photo you take here turns into an artistic masterpiece.

The hotel is very close to Sanlitun Taikoo Li, and the nearby Dongzhimen subway station offers convenient access to the airport and high-speed train station. It boasts its own art gallery, with numerous oil paintings adorning the hallways and rooms. There's also a rooftop garden, making it a very artistic and Instagrammable spot.

Really great! The Wi-Fi is super fast, and the oil paintings on the walls are very textured. It's quiet at night, and the hotel service is excellent. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with plenty of hot water. The ART STONE restaurant on the first floor also offers great service and food at a reasonable price, and the atmosphere is wonderful. I'll definitely bring friends next time!

The hotel lobby has an underground art gallery and office buildings, which makes it very noisy! The elevators require a key card to access floors, which is great! The staff are very good, but everything else is pretty mediocre, not even as good as a budget chain like Hanting.

Pros: Great location, though I'm not sure how far it is from the subway since I didn't use it. The room was spacious with good amenities, clean sheets, and a comfortable mattress. I also loved the artistic vibe, and it was cool that a robot delivered our takeout.
Cons: The central air conditioning in the room was really cold. As someone from the North, I'm used to warm rooms, so this was a bit of a shock. The lobby and hallways were also cold, and the marble decor just made it feel even chillier. I ended up filling a water bottle with warm water and putting it in my bed to warm my feet while I slept.

Check-in was quick and easy, and there's a parking lot with a discounted rate for guests. We also got free admission to the Aoga Art Museum and a complimentary glass of house-brewed beer at the Hard Rock Cafe. The room wasn't huge, but it was well-designed, very comfortable, and had no strange odors. The shower water temperature and pressure were perfect. The bed felt a little soft and saggy, but the pillows were comfortable. The overall ambiance was fantastic – oil paintings lined the hallways and rooms, and the lobby sculptures were great for photos. The elevator required a key card to go up, and it was quiet and smooth – much better quality than many other hotels. Thumbs up!

The service was excellent, and the hotel facilities were very comprehensive. The restaurant was beautiful; I purchased breakfast separately for 50 yuan per person directly at the hotel, and the restaurant's ambiance and variety were absolutely worth it. The overall decor has a very European feel. Breakfast was fresh, with a live cooking station. The front desk staff were enthusiastic, the rooms were clean, and the amenities were abundant, including a Western restaurant, museum, art gallery, and garden.

This isn't just a high-quality hotel, it's also a unique art gallery. After checking in, definitely set aside some time to explore. Don't miss the special sculpture exhibition, oil painting exhibition, and natural slate paintings on the first floor, as well as the rooftop terrace. The views are even more stunning after a snowfall.

I cannot recommend staying here. It was my worst hotel experience. The "queen bed" was simply two single beds pushed together, which was very uncomfortable. The front desk staff were unwelcoming and unhelpful. Furthermore, there was no physical voucher provided at check-in, despite my confirmation. A thoroughly disappointing stay.
