The room was absolutely terrible! The negative reviews were indeed accurate, and everyone should really pay attention to the proportion of bad reviews – if it's relatively high, there's definitely something wrong. Also, any recurring complaints in the bad reviews are true! Others mentioned hearing mice, and sure enough, there were rustling sounds from the ceiling in this hotel. I'm not sure if it was mice, maybe the air conditioning or some other equipment. Plus, the bathroom drain was clogged! My feet were submerged while showering! And another thing!! I arrived around 11 PM and was very tired, so I didn't pay attention to the AC and blankets. The blanket was incredibly thin, like a summer quilt! The AC was automatically on the lowest setting, and I woke up freezing in the middle of the night!! It was truly awful! I had to set the AC to auto and fold the blanket to keep warm!! I booked a relatively large king-size room, but it was pathetically small; it was hard to walk past the foot of the bed! And it was expensive! Not worth it! The transportation is inconvenient unless you take a taxi, which I did! Otherwise, it's a hassle.

The location is fantastic, right in a hutong in Dongsi, making it super convenient to get around. It's not far from the subway station, and cycling to explore is really easy. The facilities are a bit old, and the main issue is the poor soundproofing – you can hear conversations from next door very clearly. The service attitude is excellent; my child left a book at the hotel, and housekeeping called back very quickly. Overall, it's a good stay.

Located on Beijing's East 2nd Ring Road, nestled within a hutong. The environment is pleasant, and the location is excellent. You can cycle right up to the hotel entrance. The service is great, very welcoming. It's about a 10-minute walk to the subway station. The hotel is close to all the main attractions; Tiananmen Square, Wangfujing, and the Forbidden City are all just a 20-minute bike ride away. I'd definitely stay here again on my next trip to Beijing.

This is my go-to hotel for business trips! The location is super convenient, just a 5-minute walk to the subway station, and there are plenty of dining options nearby, so I never have to rush for meetings. I can work late into the night without any disturbances, the desk is spacious and tidy, and there are more than enough power outlets. The WiFi is stable and never lags. The bedding is soft and comfortable, guaranteeing a good night's sleep that completely washes away travel fatigue. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, is impeccably clean, and free of any odors.

The room is small, but it has all the facilities, and the overall cleanliness is okay, though there were some crumbs in the corners and the bedsheets weren't that clean. The disposable towels provided were very good, felt safe to use. The curtains were hung improperly; there were many hooks left on the track in the middle, and when the curtains were drawn, there was still a large gap in the middle that couldn't be closed, ugh!

The location is great, inside the Second Ring Road, making it very convenient to get to the Forbidden City, the National Museum, Wusi Street, and Prince Gong's Mansion. However, the room is definitely not 16 square meters. There's only space for a 1.5-meter bed and one bedside table. Online it was listed as 16-18 square meters, but it's really pitifully small. The service on the first morning I arrived was just okay. Luckily, the autumn view outside the window was nice, and since I was only coming back to sleep at night, I was too lazy to switch hotels. The hygiene was also quite poor; just see for yourselves.

Very good location, just a couple blocks from the subway but the street is so charming you won't ever notice you are walking. The room is not big but it's enough for the price. I wish the towels weren't disposable, though.

The room was clean. The front desk staff were excellent, very warm and professional. The free luggage storage was also a great convenience. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area and highly recommend it to others.

The room was on the smaller side and not the cleanest. However, it's perfectly fine for a quick, one-night stay. Its real advantages are the convenient transportation and the strong sense of Hutong culture in the area. Plus, there are tons of affordable places to eat nearby.

The room was very clean a d everything worked fine. As a non-Chinese solo traveler, I had to use a translator app to speak with the employees at reception, and it was not that easy, but in the end I managed. The hotel is located in a hutong, about 10/15 min walk to the nearest metro station. The main street nearby has many shops and restaurants and overall a really cool vibe.
