Every time I visit Xi'an, I usually book the Ritz. A few days ago, I stayed there again for four or five days during the holiday. Putting aside other things, the service has really gone downhill. On the first day, before checking in, I messaged the guest services department about a room upgrade, but they didn't explain things clearly. I only understood what was happening when I got to the front desk to check in, which caused a delay, but I'll let that slide. On the last day, I had an urgent matter at noon, and I couldn't get through to the service center for ages – I must have called at least four or five times. In the end, my plans were disrupted, and I nearly missed my high-speed train. After leaving Xi'an, I received an SMS saying I'd left something in my room. I messaged them on WeChat again, and they said they'd find out and let me know, but days have passed, and I haven't heard anything back. I'm too fed up to even ask anymore. I usually stay in hotels for convenience, but this has just become more and more troublesome.

This hotel is next level. We stayed in a Club Room and too full advantage of all it had to offer. The only disappointment was that our room was not ready until 5pm when check in time was 2pm.
Everything else was great, food, drinks, service, room was more than comfortable. They even got stains out of my clothes with the 2 pieces of complimentary laundry. Highly recommend you stay and do not leave

As a top-tier brand under Marriott, the hardware and service certainly live up to the price. It's among the best hotels in Xi'an and highly recommended 👍. Our trip to Xi'an with my husband became extra perfect because we stayed at The Ritz-Carlton.
I'd heard friends say that Ritz-Carlton's service was 'textbook level,' and after experiencing it myself this time, I'm truly impressed. In this fast-paced city, The Ritz provided us with a sanctuary where we could completely relax. It will definitely be my first choice again next time I visit Xi'an ❤️

I chose The Ritz-Carlton, Xi'an for my business trip to Xi'an, and it was absolutely the right decision! Even before I checked in, I received a pre-arrival call from my butler, Sophia, who carefully confirmed my itinerary and needs – so thoughtful. After checking in, whether I needed help from Sophia or Bruce, they were both incredibly warm and attentive, always ready to assist without any delay. A few days into my stay, I even received a follow-up call asking about my experience and if anything needed adjusting; their attention to detail was exceptional.
The hotel's environment and facilities were impeccable. The room was clean and tidy, and all the amenities were high-quality, making it comfortable for both work and rest. The surrounding transportation was also convenient; it was close to where I needed to go for business, and it was easy to go out for meals and shopping. Upon check-out, the staff even thoughtfully prepared a farewell gift. Everything truly reflected the high standards of The Ritz-Carlton – it was so touching! My accommodation experience for this business trip was perfect, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Xi'an!

Sophia, our personal butler at the Ritz-Carlton, was incredibly attentive! She called us in advance to confirm our needs, followed up after we checked in, and even prepared a farewell gift when we checked out. The attention to detail was exceptional. The hotel's environment and facilities were top-notch, clean, and comfortable, and it was convenient for exploring and dining. We were very satisfied with our stay!

For a New Year's Eve staycation, I chose the Ritz, and compared to nearby options like the JW, InterContinental, and Shangri-La, the facilities are noticeably superior. This is evident in the executive lounge, pool, sauna facilities, and even the upkeep of the rooms, all reflecting a higher level of operation. The pool was crystal clear, the sauna very clean, and the executive lounge is reputedly the largest in the country or even Asia. The food offerings were also quite thoughtful, not like the standardized fare you find in other five-star hotels. Overall, it lives up to its price point.
Now for a few downsides. Firstly, the executive lounge seemed understaffed. Dishes would linger on tables after guests had finished, so you'd find yourself eating amidst a pile of leftover plates. Secondly, the professionalism of the executive lounge staff is questionable. I've been served juice in an espresso cup, and also given two vastly different glasses for the same white wine. I'm not sure if it was because they didn't have time to wash glasses in the back or if there's an issue with their training methodology. Lastly, a hardware issue: as the video clearly shows, the bathtub drain in room 2202 was broken, and the showerhead wasn't working. However, since it was fully booked on New Year's Eve, I didn't bother to pursue it.
Overall, the hotel's standard is indeed top-tier in Xi'an, but there's still room for improvement.

The hotel itself is fantastic – great facilities, very clean, and absolutely no complaints. The surrounding area is also very convenient, with plenty of options for dining and shopping. It's conveniently located next to a mall and a metro station, making travel easy. I particularly recommend the breakfast; it's incredibly rich, featuring various local noodle dishes. A truly fantastic experience!

Sophia at the Xi'an Ritz-Carlton is incredibly reliable; she makes sure to follow up on every pre-arrival check-in. She's also super friendly, always greeting other staff members when she sees them. The environment and facilities are excellent, and getting around the area is incredibly convenient.
