The hotel's exterior is luxurious and grand, but the furnishings and decor are rather outdated, and the bathroom amenities are of average quality, giving one a sense of regret for a once-beautiful hotel that has lost its former glory. There are convenient restaurants nearby, and the rooms are clean, but the air conditioning and heating were not turned on, so it felt quite cold this time of year; even under the covers, my hands and feet were freezing.

The hotel has a great location. Staying in the Tang West Market is like traveling back to the heyday of the Tang Dynasty. There are many museums, antique streets, and breakfast shops around it. In the evening, you can choose the barbecue and pub downstairs, which is very convenient.

Services and Facilities: The front desk was professional and friendly, the rooms were spotlessly clean, and the bedding was soft and effective in promoting sleep.

Opened in 2012, the facilities are a bit old, the bedding is very average, but there are also highlights, smart toilet, smart gauze curtain, strong Chinese style and simple atmosphere. The service is very average, the concierge is also very poor and has no service awareness. There were some problems during the check-in process, but fortunately their manager (forgot to ask the name) solved them in time. They sent welcome fruits and breakfast. Thank you, but the front desk service really needs to be improved.

The facilities were quite run-down, with many things broken and unrepaired. We chose two suites, and it didn't feel like you were in one, everything was so run-down, but it was still very nice. We also complained about the heat at night, as they had the air conditioning off and all they offered us was to open the windows (lots of mosquitoes and noise came in) and give us a fan. The breakfast was very poor and nothing special. I would recommend it for one night at most because it's very nice, but that's it. They have a lot of room for improvement.

When taking the kids out, a friend recommended the Datang West Market Hotel. The hotel has a grand exterior and there are many things for kids to play at the door. The front desk manager, Mr. Zhu, received us and arranged everything for us. The service was amazing. I will choose this hotel again next time if I have the chance.
