Front Desk Service: From the moment I checked in, the service at the front desk was incredibly comforting. The receptionists were warm and attentive, handling the check-in process efficiently and professionally. They provided clear and detailed information about the hotel's facilities. I especially appreciated how they proactively asked about my needs and patiently answered all my questions regarding local transportation and dining options. Every time I passed by the front desk, I was greeted with their friendly smiles and greetings, which made me feel very welcome.

Room Cleanliness: The first impression upon entering the room was its extreme cleanliness. The carpets, tabletops, and bathroom were spotless and gleaming as if new. The bedding was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom facilities were thoroughly disinfected with no unpleasant odors. This rigorous attention to hygiene details made both my family and me feel very secure and at ease.

Furthermore, the overall environment of the hotel was elegant and quiet, with well-maintained facilities. This stay far exceeded my expectations, truly embodying the concept of 'home away from home' service. The location is excellent, just a 100-200 meter walk to the Drum Tower, with plenty of dining options nearby. There are all sorts of Xi'an specialty snacks, but unfortunately, my palate is more accustomed to Suzhou, Wuxi, and Changzhou flavors, so I couldn't fully enjoy them.

The room is spacious, with a sofa area and a work area.

Breakfast had a variety of vegetables that suited me perfectly – it was a lifesaver!

Also, a big shout-out to Ms. Zuo at the front desk. Her service was incredibly enthusiastic, she answered all my questions, and had a wonderful attitude!

The room was very clean and the staff were polite. I've been coming here for business for many years and I always choose this hotel. It's clean and hygienic.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and Muslim Quarter. There are also many great restaurants nearby. Xiao Wang at the front desk had a great attitude and they even offered luggage storage and a free gym. I was very satisfied with my stay and will definitely be back!

I chose this hotel again for my National Day holiday trip to Xi'an. The location is excellent, right above the Bell Tower area. The room was clean and tidy, and the front desk service was great. The subway is also right outside the hotel, making it very convenient for dining and getting around.

Strategic location which is surrounded by restaurants and street stalls. It is also walking distance to the bell tower, Muslim street and train station. The room is clean and spacious..
However, the Wifi is not working at all.

For my stay at Jinmao Hotel Downtown Xi’an booked through Trip.com, I found the location to be exceptionally convenient. The hotel is just a short walk from the nearest Metro station, providing easy access to Xi’an Railway Station and other popular destinations like the Drum Tower. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and the famous Muslim Street is only about a 10-minute walk, perfect for sampling local cuisine and culture. Biang Biang noodles is a must try!

The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, offering a pleasant environment for rest and relaxation. The hotel’s gym facilities are decent for a quick workout, though there is some scope for upgrades in overall amenities and facilities.

Breakfast was included but fairly average in taste and variety, so I recommend exploring the local restaurants around the hotel for a more enjoyable meal experience. One highlight was the friendly and helpful staff who made the stay more welcoming and smooth.

Avoid this tourist trap! To start off, the waitresses took advantage of our limited Chinese by lying to us and saying they were not serving individual dishes and we must get the dumpling "banquet," which was 98 Yuan ($14 USD) per person for about 15 tiny, mediocre tasting dumplings per person. Then they told us tea would be 60 Yuan ($9 USD); they didn't give us water until after we refused to pay for tea (they then also brought out the free tea after failing to sell the extremely overpriced tea). Then during our meal the servers came over about 4 times to sell us things like pastries, boxes of ginseng, bottles of medicine, etc and went on and on about how these were great for health, treats this and that, etc. Don't go here unless you want to be lied to, ripped off, and have your meal interrupted by constant sales pitches.
