The breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of options and everything fresh and well-prepared.
I also really appreciated the staff’s willingness to go above and beyond. I had a special request during my stay, and although it wasn’t something the hotel could provide directly, they kindly helped me arrange a
trusted third party to assist me. Their support and effort made a big difference and showed a high level of care for their guests.
Overall, it was a very comfortable and enjoyable experience. I will definitely choose to stay at this hotel again whenever I’m back in Shanghai.
Cleanliness: The hotel is cleaned daily, and the rooms are quite tidy.
Facilities: There's a laundry room and a gym. Although I didn't use them, I imagine they're good, as is typical for an InterContinental Holiday Inn Express.
Service: The service was excellent and very attentive.
Cleanliness: Woke up in the morning to a cockroach crawling on the table – it was truly horrifying. I bravely used a bag to press it against the wall and kill it.
Service: In the morning, the cleaning staff just swiped their card and entered the room without knocking. They then realized someone was inside and backed out. About half an hour later, they knocked again, asking to come in and clean??? I mean, seriously? People are sleeping; is it appropriate for you to come in and clean then???
Overall, I will never book this place again. There are so many other options with good locations and clean rooms at the same price point. Goodbye for good!
