1. Great location! It's within walking distance to the West Lake Musical Fountain, and you can walk or bike to Southern Song Imperial Street. There are also bus stops right outside, and the Longxiangqiao subway station is a short walk away. Bus route 7 goes directly to Lingyin Temple Scenic Area. Plus, the Intime commercial district is nearby, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient.
2. Excellent service! From check-in to housekeeping, the staff were all warm and proactive. The front desk offers useful small items like dental floss and masks. There's an umbrella in the room, and the slippers are very comfortable. When we checked in with my elderly parents, the front desk even helped us upgrade to a lake view room.
3. Delicious breakfast! The buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, including both Chinese and Western options. You can also enjoy panoramic views of West Lake directly from the terrace.
4. The room has good soundproofing, so we could sleep peacefully, and there was plenty of hot water for showers.

The bathroom door creaked, especially noticeable at night! The bathroom ceiling and walls were old and damaged. The phones in the room and by the elevators were all for show; I only found out they were broken when I tried to use them. I had to call the hotel through the number in my Ctrip order! Yesterday, it was 30°C, and we returned to the hotel with our baby. We poured some water from the thermos at the lobby's tea station and found it to be scalding hot. We asked the front desk if they had bottled water to mix it with for the baby to quench her thirst. A female staff member at the front desk unhelpfully replied that the water in the thermos was for keeping warm! I wonder if she was moody because the hotel had been fully booked these past few days? Or perhaps she felt empowered to dismiss guests' requests instantly from the front desk? I've stayed here many times before, and bottled water is usually placed next to the kettle, but at 30°C, there was none! Of course, apart from this staff member who provided a terrible experience, most of the other staff were very professional and friendly in their communication. Even when they couldn't fulfill a request, they didn't make you feel uncomfortable. The cleaning auntie was busy from early morning these past two days; I saw her still working hard around 4 PM! With increasing competition nearby, facilities need constant updating and repair, but most importantly, good service is what truly retains guests!!!

Not far from West Lake, it's about a 7-8 minute walk from Longxiangqiao subway station. I couldn't seem to find the hotel sign though, or perhaps it just wasn't very prominent? It looked like I'd found the entrance, luckily I didn't go the wrong way. The room, while an older renovation, wasn't too dated and was quite clean. I was worried about mosquitoes, but didn't find any, which was a pleasant surprise. The air conditioning was surprisingly powerful, even better than some newly renovated places! I didn't book breakfast, as I wanted to try some local Hangzhou specialties. The male receptionist could be more professional though. He said I couldn't book a twin room for one person? He kept asking with a strange tone, which immediately set off alarm bells and made me feel wary. Also, I had requested a high floor but was given the third floor directly (maybe Ctrip didn't display my request?). Of course, they adjusted it when I asked, but it would be better if they could confirm guest preferences in the future. The delivery robot for food was a nice touch. The cleaning lady was very good, friendly and polite. You can see a small corner of West Lake, but the view isn't great due to the distance and angle. Perhaps the breakfast restaurant would offer a better view. Finally, the price was genuinely good value, cheaper than nearby options. Without using points, a standard room on a Friday was only just over 300, which is truly excellent value. There's a bus stop right downstairs, I would choose this place again.

Our stay at Huachen International Hotel was somewhat disappointing overall. The hotel definitely looks much newer and more modern in the pictures, but in reality, the property feels rather dated.

One inconvenience was that cars are unable to enter directly to the main lobby, so we had to alight by the roadside and drag our luggage in ourselves. The same issue came up whenever we booked a Didi, as we had to wait at the bus stop outside the hotel instead.

We also arrived around 2:30pm, but our rooms were still not ready despite the stated check-in time being 2:00pm. The front desk did offer us complimentary high tea while waiting, which was appreciated, but the selection was quite limited — only some fruits and a few cakes were left by then.

That said, the hotel’s location is still a strong plus point. It’s only about a 15–20 minute walk to West Lake, which makes it fairly convenient for sightseeing around Hangzhou.

This hotel boasts an excellent location right by West Lake. It's just a few minutes' walk to Hubin Yintai and Longxiangqiao subway station, making it incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and entertainment. The service was also wonderfully warm; the front desk staff were efficient and enthusiastic during check-in, and the housekeeping staff always greeted guests with a smile and a warm hello, ready to assist with any request. The room was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The bedding was soft and gentle on the skin, and it was incredibly quiet at night – no issues with soundproofing whatsoever. The attention to detail was impressive: the welcome fruit was fresh, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the hot water was quick and had strong pressure. The rooftop restaurant offers fantastic views, allowing you to enjoy a delicious and varied breakfast while gazing at West Lake and Leifeng Pagoda in the distance. Overall, my stay was extremely satisfying and offered great value for money. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Hangzhou. Highly recommended!

It's about a ten-minute walk to West Lake Scenic Area, and the subway station is also close by, making transportation very convenient. There are many shopping malls nearby, so dining is easy. The service attitude was excellent, though the facilities were a bit dated.

This hotel is conveniently located near Longxiangqiao metro station in downtown Hangzhou, surrounded by bustling shops and easy transportation. The rooms are well-equipped, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. Plus, you can enjoy stunning West Lake views from the top-floor restaurant where breakfast is served.

The room was very satisfying, and the service was excellent. Breakfast was abundant and nutritious. The location is convenient, just a ten-minute walk to West Lake. The front desk staff were warm and thoughtful; they even upgraded my breakfast for free on my first stay. I'll definitely stay here again on my next business trip.

This is a very old hotel, and the facilities are just okay, but they match the price. The hygiene is decent, but the window screens were really dirty. Parking is quite convenient; I stayed for three nights and noticed that there were usually open spots around 3-4 PM. The breakfast restaurant is on the 19th floor, offering views of West Lake.

Traveling to Hangzhou with my child for a business trip, I chose to stay at the Huachen Hotel. It's conveniently located close to West Lake and also very near Longxiang Bridge on Metro Line 1. The room was spacious, though some facilities felt a bit dated, for example, there were no USB charging ports. The restaurant is on the top floor, and one side offers fantastic views overlooking West Lake!
