The soundproofing in the rooms isn't great. First, even with the windows closed, I could clearly hear street traffic from my roadside room. The hotel mentioned they provide eye masks and earplugs. Second, the room itself isn't soundproof; on the first night, I could clearly hear guests returning late and closing their doors, and in the morning, I could distinctly hear the cleaning staff working in the adjacent room. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. They advertise late-night snacks, but I stayed two nights and didn't get them either time. Since it's winter, there's only heating, but even without the AC on, the room felt very hot and stuffy. I had an early check-in voucher because my train arrived in Hangzhou in the morning, but when I arrived at 11:30 AM, there were no rooms available, so I had to wait an hour. The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from the West Lake Cultural Square H2 exit of the subway. On weekends, there's a bus stop just 2 minutes away that goes directly to Lingyin Temple, so transportation is quite convenient.

The room decor was very new and clean. The front desk staff were also very friendly. It felt like a really good experience, and I would choose this place again if I visit Hangzhou in the future.

The room was very comfortable, and the smart controls were super convenient. The deep sleep bedding ensured we got a great night's sleep every day. The hotel staff were all very friendly; they offered us warm water as soon as we arrived and proactively helped us with our luggage to the room. They even prepared gifts for the children on Christmas. I'll definitely choose Atour again next time.

Hygiene: Clean, but the disinfectant smell from the sheets was a bit off-putting. Opening the window to air it out helped a lot.

Environment: Close to the canal, so the air is nice. It can be noisy when cars pass by with the window open, but closing it provides excellent sound insulation.

Facilities: The room is spacious, and the furniture is comfortably arranged. It would be even better if there was a small balcony. The lighting logic could be improved; there should be a separate light switch inside the bathroom. Currently, if you need to use the restroom at night, you have to turn on the vanity light outside the bathroom, which can disturb your roommate.

Service: Professional, enthusiastic, and polite. It's clear they've received professional training; they're a well-oiled machine.

Upon check-in, we were upgraded to a deluxe king room on the seventh floor with a view of the canal. We used the hotel's self-service laundry facilities that day, and the staff even helped with drying and delivered our clothes to the room. The hotel is very close to the subway station, just a three to five-minute walk, offering direct access to West Station and the airport. Bus route 505, located near the hotel entrance, goes directly to Lingyin Temple. The breakfast deserves praise, with both Chinese and Western options that fully met our needs. We would definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit!

Upon pulling back the covers on the first day, I found a hair and removed it myself. That evening, I opened a fresh towel and found another hair. I wanted to complain right then, but my husband stopped me. I'm posting this here so others can be aware and I hope the hotel takes this seriously. I didn't take a photo of the hair on the bed, but I did photograph the one in the towel.

This is a great hotel with brand new facilities. The front desk service was exceptional, very warm and welcoming. The hotel is conveniently located, very close to the subway. The room's soundproofing is excellent, and breakfast was also delicious.

The front desk staff were super friendly and proactively upgraded my room. The hotel's aromatherapy scent was lovely, and the robot room service was quick. The hotel breakfast was especially delicious, and the roasted chicken was the best!
