Arrived at the hotel, the carpet in our bedroom was wet in places and had a stench of urine. We ate a meal at the beach bar which was substandard. Not many items on the menu were available. Staff were arrogant and rude. Shortly after our arrival, a fire started in the spa. Staff did not show leadership in managing this. Witnessed a teenager helping a family with a baby from their balcony. The teenage also helped a disabled child in a wheelchair whilst staff stood around. No communication from staff as to what to do or fire evacuation process. Most disturbing was no fire/smoke alarms or sprinklers. After fire was contained by fire brigade guest not given advice or support as to what to do. Guests wandering into hotel which was smoke filled to collect luggage/possessions with no guidance from staff. Would not recommend this place, a safety risk. What we saw of the hotel was poor. Swimming pool area filthy. Do not stay here, we had a lucky escape. Cannot begin to think what would have happened if the fire started during the night when guest were sleeping with no alarms or leadership from staff.

After 1.5 hours after arriving at the hotel there was a fire. The fire and smoke alarms or sprinklers did not go off. Our friend was escorted from his room by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus as the smoke was overwhelming. We helped families to safety from their balconies. We didn’t see staff during the time of the fire and it seems like they did not know what to do. We left the hotel immediately after as we did not feel safe to stay there due to lack of obvious and basic safety procedures. I would recommend to you to not stay at this hotel until the incident has been investigated and the necessary and basic precautions have been put in place ie fire alarms. We have video evidence of the above is needed.

Beautiful location with views that can’t be matched — sadly, the service, food, and facilities don’t live up to it. Rooms are basic, noisy, and poorly maintained (no loo roll on arrival, stained carpets, no lift, air-con shuts off when you leave). Bar serves cheap wine from jugs, limited drinks, no snacks, and staff lack wine/spirit knowledge. Buffets are average with little authentic Croatian food, no gluten-free options, and poor breakfast selection. Public areas and pool are overrun with unsupervised kids and loud entertainment, making relaxation impossible. To top it off, a fire evacuation revealed a lack of alarms. Gorgeous location, but overall, not 4-star quality.

Arrived at the hotel got some awful food with bad and rude services , about 5 minutes this the hotel set on fire cause the sauna there was no fire alarm or sprinklers , hotel staff made zero effort to help people out or even make people aware of the fire , after this we had to assist people over there balconies including a baby and a young disabled boy with no help for hotel staff . After this we waited a few hours before any information was given to us . After this I spoke to the manger of the hotel who nearly knocked two members of our group over in her car earlier that day , she was useless and rude . We had to find another place to stay as we did not feel at all safe . We did not get an apology or help from the hotel staff apart from them calling a taxi for us . In my opinion a disgusting mangemnt of the situation if I could give 0 stars I would .

We recently stayed at this hotel, which enjoys a lovely location directly in a bay by the sea and is conveniently close to Stari Grad and the ferry terminal. The room size was suitable for two people and the breakfast buffet, served from 7:00 to 10:00, offered a wide range of choices clearly designed for families with children. The same applies to lunch and dinner, the food was of good quality, especially when traveling with kids. Unfortunately, our stay began with a room allocation issue, we had booked a Superior Double Room with Balcony and direct sea view, but were initially placed in a ground-floor room for three people, with an extra mattress on the floor and only a partial sea view. A room change was not possible on the first day, though we did later reach a mutually agreeable solution with the General Manager, which we appreciated. The hotel itself, however, could benefit from attention. The rooms, bathrooms, public areas and gardens all show signs of wear and the photos online are somewhat misleading. Facilities like a minibar were absent, bed linen changes required a request and soundproofing was minimal. We also encountered a lack of hot water and were unable to shower after a day at the beach, unfortunately, no apology or compensation was offered. It’s also worth noting that this hotel is primarily suited for families and may not meet the expectations of couples or solo travelers looking for relaxation. Overall, the hotel’s location and family-oriented food service are strong points, but it would greatly benefit from clearer descriptions, updated visuals and some thoughtful renovations to better reflect its actual standards.

This is not a 4 star hotel. We booked this place because of great reviews of our friends and family who visited in the past years. We traveled with a one year old baby, we got a small, tiny room down the stairs from the reception. The carpet was disgusting, the towels were ripped and dirty. We stayed only night and then changed the hotel. The food is ok, but the restaurant is overcrowded and we could't find clean glasses to drink water. Luckily there were available rooms in the hotel Valamar Places nearby, because if not we would go home and our holiday would be completely ruined. This is such a shame, because the nature surounding this hotel is amazing, the sea is beautiful, but this is a one star motel at best now.

If I could give this hotel zero stars, I would. This is supposed to be a 4-star experience, but in reality, it is barely a 1-star stay — and even that feels generous. Let me start by saying: the pictures are completely misleading. What looks sleek, modern, and comfortable online is nothing like what you’ll find when you arrive. This is the kind of place that proves why reading reviews is absolutely essential before booking anything. Don’t be fooled by the glossy photos. If you care about cleanliness, convenience, or even basic hospitality, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This hotel needs a full inspection and a serious reassessment of its so-called star rating.
