Reviews
The only things id suggest is as a 5 star hotel id expect hot drinks in the room, and it wasn't just the British asking for this while I stayed there. Each room needs tea bags, coffee, and milk in a room replenished each day. Currently you have 1 tea bag and 1 coffee tube for the whole week with your kettle and cups, id expext better for a 5 star hotel. That was my only suggestion to move it from a Britiah 4 plus star to a 5 star.
Been there twice and will def come back.
Immaculate clean hotel set in a quiet location on the beach . Surrounding area of Slano is beautiful and quite, great for long walks and hikes.
Facilities are great for a hotel opened in 2007 and well maintained. There are some aspects such as the spa tech are not functioning ( hot tub) but could be fixed
This is a quiet hotel and very relaxing. If you are expecting any Benidorm/Aya Napa style
experience then this is not for you and would
serve the majority of others better if you went elsewhere. This place is somewhere to reset and relax
I loved the food here and really appreciated the amount of local dishes( you need to be willing to try something different) , if you are a basic pasta and pizza type go elsewhere.
In terms of range of variety of dishes it’s a strong 4 star hotel not 5 . There should be water available in restaurant with all meals
Staff working here are friendly and helpful without the obsequious nonsense you get in some countries ( don’t expect American style service) .
Some staff really stood out and they make this place great
Firstly in the restaurant the cheeky Perina in who makes some excellent poached eggs, would ask us every day would we want some, she has a great personality.
Marie J waitressing who welcomes you every morning and always has a smile on her face.
Ruza and Dijana who are really attentive and do a great job.
Finally boss lady Ivana at reception who is always happy to help .
Lovely scenery, Room was clean & adequate for our needs.
Cleaners both very friendly and thorough with room cleaning.
Location is a personal thing! For us it was great, small quiet village 50 mins away from Dubrovnik.
Food was not good! And with dietary requirements which were discussed before booking and upon arrival, they failed with fulfilling their promise that they could handle this with absolutely no problem.
Admittedly having an egg allergy is rare, but when you are told it's not a problem and given a glass of whipped cream for a dessert from a 5 star hotel with multiple chefs working for 7 nights in a row that is an absolute joke!! The food options for anyone with dietary requirements was very poor!
Oh... And 9 euros for a medium bottle of water to drink with a meal is ridiculous! No table water available??!!!
Also the majority of staff in the restaurant were childish giggling kids! Who clearly couldn't be bothered to help!
Shame!
Set in a gorgeous picturesque village with gorgeous bays and mountains it really gives you that chill out wow factor.
Rooms are a very nice size with a good size bathroom and balcony. I was top floor 3rd floor room 301 with a magnificent view out across the bay.
Hotel overall extremely clean. Lovely near on private beach. You could always get a sun bed around by the pool, even in the middle of the afternoon.
Food was fairly basic, I would always find something really nice to eat. Not the biggest of choice but still very nice. You can drink the tap water here, yet in the restaurant you have to pay for bottle water which I thought was quite unfair. After dinner could be quite boring. In the 7 nights I stayed I think only 2 nights we had evening entertainment. Found by 9:30pm 90% of guests had gone to bed. Opposite the hotel there's a small supermarket, post office and bus stop. Within 2 minutes walk you have a ice parlour, 3 restaurants, 1 bar 1 bakery and 2 souvenir shops. There's a beautiful marina 5 minutes walk away.
I booked this hotel as a 4 star hotel, and thats exactly what I got. On the sign Outside it says 5 star hotel. But it's a very good 4 star hotel. If you want a week of totally relaxation then book here. Ignore the bad reviews this is a lovely hotel. Definitely book a sea view room.
Impeccable room service, cleaning staff, the pool guys, ocean at a very good temperature, everything is very well clean and kept impeccable.
We really enjoyed the views, perfect weather, air conditioned rooms, everything was really great. We'll be back surely.
One critic: The room door's are not isolated you hear everything coming from the corridor, that is unpleasant, definitely something to work on in a future refurbishment.
Otherwise, continue on that same trajectory.
But I was wrong, it is a regular hotel without any special details, not luxury at all.
There is not valet parking, butler, doorman and concierge.
There’s no coffee maker and my room was very noisy despite the fact that the control of external noise breaking into rooms and good sound insulation between rooms shoud be vital for a 5 star hotel.
Unfriendly staff, not accommodating and don’t know how to smile(very unwelcoming). The worst staff was at the front desk.
This kind of hotel should be the perfect place for relax, however, that was not the case during my stay because, although I had requested a quiet room as I am not a good sleeper, my room was sadly immediately above the main hall of the hotel( which was very noisy).
The guests of the nearby opened bar were having party till midnight, which made us wake up of course. Not the fault of the hotel (rather the fault of the rude guests), but the hotel should have interrupted this unacceptable behavior immediately. However, despite multiple calls to the lobby – in which the receptionist assured us that they would send someone over to stop the guest’s behavior – the party was still going on.
A 5 stars hotel in this kind of place should have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to noise disturbance, since the guests stay here to relax.
But the staff made no effort to understand my needs and the hotel’s poor customer service left me a very bad taste.
Their customer service practically doesn't exist.
Any 5 star hospitality team should work with professionalism, there has to be a high standard of service that was clearly lacking here.
Apart from the lovely beach and great sea view, that hotel was a disappointment.
