Amazing location 15 minutes distance from the heart of Dubrovnik. Wonderful very polite people and great food! Rooms are very spacious with beautiful views to the old town and the sea. Cant wait to come back soon!

This hotel was amazing. The restaurant here had the best food i had the entire trip. We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner here. The fews were also so gorgeous from the room and from the restaurant. It’s also an easy little walk to the old town. 10/10

The service at V D is exceptional, amongst the best I've received. The food is excellent, both at the bar, on the terrace and in the restaurant. The rooftop bar is superb with amazing views of the old town. While we were there we were able to swim in the sea for a couple of the days but it then got too rough. The swimming pool is indoor with opening doors. Our room was very clean and tidy and in very good order - I understand there is a major refurb about to commence. There is a shuttle bus that takes less than 5 mins into the old town dropping you near the Plates Gate. Overall I wouldn't hesitate to return (if I can afford it after the refurb)!

We came for a three night stay as a base to explore Dubrovnik before moving on and booked what they call their “standard suite". We loved:- - the location of the hotel. Close to the action, but removed enough to be quiet. - the staff. They all went out of their way to be helpful & friendly. - the food. On our first night we eat in and found the quality of the food really good. - our suite. Which was, for us, exactly what we wanted. It only caught the afternoon sun and then late in the day. But being the 4th floor you had great views of the old town and the sunset. Overall, a really lovely experience. So would we go back - YES. Now I know they’re about to close for a big refurb and can understand why. Certain areas and things do need a refresh and updating.

I had heard wonderful things about the hotel however I was disappointed. This was definitely not a "luxury" experience. I booked one of their ocean view deluxe rooms. When I first got to my room there were ants crawling all over the bathroom. Housekeeping came up and sprayed (photo of spray left in case they came back) which did clear up the problem but was definitely put off. The bathroom and shower were awful. To shower you had to climb into a tub and there was only a small hand held nozzle. Nothing Luxurious here! The Parking was an issue and there is not an attendant to help. Finally the hotel is not that close to town and you have to walk down a narrow path with cars and motorcycles speeding passed. The shuttle does not start running until after 3 PM and then only once an hour. For the money that was charged I have had better service and bathrooms in a Holiday Inn!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was well equipped and the view was incredible. The massage I had in the spa was very good, the breakfast was nice and so was the bar menu food, I probably wouldn't bother with the main restaurant next time.

After leaving a beautiful hotel in Montenegro. The One & Only. I arrived at the Villa Dubrovnik. I had the best suite in the hotel with the worst smell ever!! Needless to say this room cost me around $9000 US I called the front desk to let them know. They came in with room spray, apparently knowing that it was an issue. I said please give me a different room smaller I don’t need the best room just no foul odor. They told me at that time they were completely sold out. After 1 1/2 hrs sitting on the patio in the heat, trying to find another hotel. contacting my Travel Agent they try tried to give me another room (remember, they had no rooms available) I was so irritated that they did not care at all. I left the hotel, thinking they would only charge me for one night. They charged me for the entire state. I will never stay at this hotel again!! Please beware it is not a five star hotel. It’s more like 2* I know what a five star hotel is and this is not.

This place can only be rated a "5" - it's an amazing place. The location is great - walking distance to the old Town, and right on the gorgeous water. Rooms are very nice - spacious, clean, updated, and great views of the water. Food is really well done as well - always fresh and delicious. The "beach" area is great too. The water is so clear and great to jump into to cool down - it's a fantastic spot. And the people are fantastic. They are over the top nice, and helpful. They really are fantastic. This was our second time staying here and it was equally great both times. Can't wait to go back again, and we don't say that about too many places (not that we're negative on places, we just like to try new ones).

Gorgeous hotel, perfect size! Wonderful staff and service. Amazing views, breakfast. All was excellent! We explored the city and surrounding towns. The restaurants were fabulous. Milan the bartender was a standout!

We absolutely loved this hotel. We were here for 3 nights so we really had a chance to get to know the hotel. It is close to the old city ( walkable) and offers a hourly shuttle to and from the city gates. It is on crystal clear water with nice lounge decks and wonderful restaurants. The hotel is a great size where you get to know the staff and they you. Everyone was very attentive and the views from all areas of the hotel were incredible. This was our first stop on a two week trip. We will definitely return and recommend it to all our friends.
