Hotels on first line in Split

The beach right in front of the hotel was beautiful and there is lots for kids to do - water obstacle course, splash pad, skate park, basketball, tennis and soccer. Several stores within walking distance

Hotel is closer to the beach, so you can go for a good swim. There is a supermarket near by. There is no key, PIN code for the door. Good breakfast considering the price of surrounding restaurants

The city is doing some big construction in front of the beach. Areas around the block require caution when walking as the streets are narrows with lots of cars

Nice plus is having a beach across the street. I had the ocean front apartment with a large balcony and terrific view! Would recommend it

Very friendly staff, clean and cozy rooms, and convenient location minutes from the beach.

If you are looking for more of a boutique hotel by the beach, I highly recommend

A welcoming stay Warm welcome from the reception staff member. Only stayed one night but room was lovely looking over the Piazza. Everything we needed was available in the room

The staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was amazing!! They greated us at our arrival with a cherry liquor and even gave us a cell phone with their reception phone number preprogrammed so we could reach them 24/7 if needed

The hotel is conveniently located just outside the old town, in a quiet street but a few minutes walk from the center of town. Our room was beautiful, very spacious and super clean. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful

Loved our stay at Splendida Palace. The staff goes above and beyond. Dea at the front desk was fantastic and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and welcomed

Their breakfast was incredible, they had a 3 story sampler plates with fruits cheeses bread jam and pastries and we got to order a hot breakfast on top of all that

Split Wow what a find. Just located outside the walls of the old town. Very clean,excellent breakfast and it's the staff that make it. Nothing is to much trouble

The included breakfast was the best and our room was spacious with a large balcony. The area the hotel is located in is dirty, however--no fault of the hotel!

It's in a good location to walk to Split centre, you're close to lots of delicious restaurants and at the start of the walk to the national park. We had a fantastic stay here and would highly recommend it

The staff were incredibly kind. Right in front of the room window, we could see the bell tower of St. Breakfast was delicious—the bread, fresh vegetables, and local sweets were all satisfyingly tasty

Have to walk maybe 2-3 blocks to get to hotel from any taxi drop off, but that is true of all the hotels in the old town. Can't get anywhere in the old town area by car. t was great to be in the center of all the action

Excellent location within the Palace walls with easy access to great shopping and eating. Live music is the square across from the hotel from 8-11p. Attentive to all our needs and questions

Excellent location in the city center. You have to park outside, but there was a parking garage about 300 meters away for €24 per day. The hotel is on the second and third floors, but there is an elevator

The only downside is that the parking is a bit inconvenient , the lot is not very close to the hotel, and the parking fees are quite pricey. This place is best suited for those not traveling by car

The hotel is conveniently located on the 3rd floor of an old central building right in the middle of Split. About 30 minutes from airport but do note taxi can only drop you of nearby

Breakfast and meals can be had in surrounding area, do not lot of places wanted cash only which I found annoying and the costs of food and drink were much higher than expected

First class Hotel, perfect old town position. Perfect room facilities, mini bar, phone, tv, good internet connection. Perfect basr for seeing Split.

Cost with Uber about €30 there is also bus. The rooms are clean, large and the service waste great. The room has kettle and fridge which is helpful

Would recommend 10/10!!! There was young guy in the reception, didn’t catch his name but huge shoutout to him! Super nice, communicative and helpful! Very cosy atmosphere! Nice and cozy rooms with the historical stone walls that are part of Split history

First room we weee given had bedroom upstairs and bathroom on first floor. This was a safety issue for us. The hotel was accommodating in getting us a second room. Beautiful historic hotel in the heart of the palace.

A variety of breads, pastries, fruit, nuts, cheeses, cold cuts - and that was before we ordered off the menu! Plenty of cups of coffee, juices and teas available and the staff were super nice and accomodating to us

A beautiful hotel, amazingly helpful friendly staff and the breakfasts are just out of this world! Toni came and met us where the taxi dropped us off and helped us with the bags to the room

He then patiently explained everything we needed to know and gave us a map pointing out the best spots to eat and local attractions. The room was immaculately clean and very comfortable

Absolutely best location in Split. Room was fresh, warm while keeping the historic wall. I had everything I could have asked for. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful

However, if you have lots of luggage, you would have to be prepared to climb flights if stairs. The other thing we had a small issue is the check out time, 11am and the max the host is willing to push is 11:30am

What a lovely B&B! This B&B is located in Split's pedestrian zone, a 3-minute walk from the old town. We stayed in room 106, which is on the second floor and only accessible by stairs

You let us know the night before what you'd like to eat, and it will be ready for you at the agreed-upon time in the morning. Coffee, tea, and yogurt are available from the buffet

The size of the room is very comfortable w a homely settings and the bed is very comfortable. The breakfast is very generous as it comes w a side bar of fruits and yogurt

The location was fantastic, and the accommodations were truly wonderful. It was great to be able to fully enjoy Split's charms from the center. I'd love to go back.

A beautiful small hotel, full of history just like the area it’s located in. The room was excellent, very clean, and the girls at the reception were friendly, smiling, and welcoming

We had a great stay at this very traditional yet modernized bijou hotel in Split. Our receptionist Ina was just delightful and very helpful when we needed to extend our stay due to a flight cancellation

We would definitely recommend this hotel for proximity to the old city yet just far enough out (300m) to be quiet at night

Quirky room with heritage features. Staff were great, bed was comfortable. Well positioned for Diocletians palace. Only minor issue was that the partially underground breakfast room needs some more lights

During the night, two gentlemen sat at the tables outside and had a conversation until 4:10 AM. Without any staff on-site, these issues are difficult to manage, so I would not choose to stay here again

When using navigation to get to the hotel, be sure to find the right route

The burgers served at the hotel is on point though, and a must try if you pick pax hotel. The path to the beach is a bit longer than expected, but can be cut short via a stair case that isn't mapped via Google maps

The location is very good and there are many people. It is a bit expensive after two days. The breakfast is also standardized, nothing special. Occasionally you can hear people chatting downstairs at night

The hotel room is very comfortable. In a new hotel, the breakfast is average. In a hotel with a restaurant, the breakfast is generally decent. Overall it's ok, clean and hygienic, with options.

The first time we used Waze, it almost led us to a church; the path was probably no more than 2 meters wide, and there was nowhere to turn around, so we had to back up

Apartments was very spacious and well equipped. Free parking down the street. Nice view through the window/balcony.

Great location & host! Ana communicated clearly and was very hospitable. She arranged private transportation from the airport as well. Great location, walking distance to beaches, Old Town & ferry port

Our check-in with Ana was very smooth and she helped us with some mapping questions. The room was pretty and spacious. The area around the place was a little dated and dirty but didn’t feel unsafe.

It’s a great place, run by a lovely manager called Ana, who is so thoughtful, helpful and friendly. I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

The Villa was perfect for two people very clean the hosts were very easy to deal with. There was a lot of restaurants, shopping and tour companies to choose from all within walking distance

We had the room up in the attic. The receptionist guy was very helpful showed the code to get into the building (will also have it printed on your receipt of your city tax payment)

He made sure the boiler for hot water was on and also the air conditioning. Very nice amenities provided, body wash, vanity kit and body wash and the place was very clean

My friend and I stayed while we were visiting Split. It is located centrally and was less than a 5 minute walk from all the major view points

Check-in was very easy and the staff were very flexible with luggage storage on the day of check-out

Also the location is only a couple of minutes away from the old town so perfect for exploring

Only negatives 1) linens were pretty worn, one towel literally yellowed, another frayed, bed not very comfortable and scratchy. This seems to be a common problem for all hotels we visited in Bosnia and Croatia

2) Older hotel with few options for hooking up electronics such as phone chargers. We had to use the plug next to the door and use an inverted trash can as a makeshift table for our phones, etc

They gave us a free bottle of wine when we arrived in our room. The breakfast was à la carte in the morning and it was excellent. It was served warm and quickly, and the service was excellent

The heart of things in the old town so that we could come and go as we explored throughout the day! The room was beautiful, with a view of the cathedral above the neighboring rooftops

Lovely, kind host, gave us fresh lemonade and melon on arrival on the beautiful terrace. Stayed here for two nights either side of our trip and both rooms were clean, cool and quiet

Malena is lovely and attentive. Exceptionally clean and a nice bathroom which isn’t always the case in these tiny places. It’s in the place central area and hard to find. Also she has no way to accept payment except cash

Gorgeous Little Air Conditioned Room right in the heart of the Palace and everything you need a short walk from the door. Restaurants, Bars, Sea, and Sights all on the Doorstep

Loved having the rooftop ball and hot tubs. Plenty of sun beds even in peak holiday season. Was concerned it was a fair way out of town but only 10-15 mins walk to the old town. Excellent selection for breakfast

She was able to let us in our room and we could then get in with our day. She was very friendly and gave us lots of information. The pool was stunning and had a lovely lounge area which was always in excellent condition

A bit out of the center but a nice, modern hotel with a great breakfast and sweet hang out place on the rooftop with a pool and jacuzzis. Also the bus to the airport is a couple minute walk away. Really convenient

Pool towels were also provided. The breakfast was excellent and had a good range of hot and cold food and a selection of drinks from Prosecco to coffee and juice

The hot tubs and pool are great amenities. The choice at breakfast as great- especially the Prosecco. Staff in the pool bar were lovely

About 8 mins walk from the bus 37 terminal in Split. Clean rooms,friendly welcoming staff. Good choice of breakfast buffet food including prosecco. We were upgraded from the 3* hotel to the 4* building

The breakfasts were delicious and varied. The hotel was clearly originally built as a hotel—its original architecture attests to this. I recommend this new, cozy, and comfortable hotel to anyone planning a trip to Split

The location is excellent, parking is convenient, and the breakfast is rich and delicious. Although the room is not large, the bedding is very soft and comfortable. The hotel is decorated in a modern and stylish style

The room was better than expected, and we upgraded to a sea view room. Downstairs is a famous local beach where many locals swim and play ball. But the city of Split as a whole is a bit boring, and one day is enough

Split is a relatively small Croatian city, so I wasn't expecting such a high-class hotel. The staff was excellent—polite and professional. The room was large and very modern

This was for three reasons: (1) a window facing street and hidden outside by shutters and inside by curtains behind desk was left ajar

It is in the edge of the old town, very easy to get to the center and main attractions. Only downside is the curtain at the door doesn’t really seem to be big enough to cover lights

The style of the hotel is very vintage, the room and toilet are very big. Our room located next to the road, not too noisy at night time

However, we couldn't connect to the hotel's wifi in our room, which was a shame!

RECEPTION It’s so early to harvest, maybe because it’s a holiday. It's in an alley, so parking is troublesome. The water heater was broken, so we arranged to go to another hotel that was closer to the attractions.

The staff was wonderful and super helpful in arranging a private shuttle to the airport upon our departure which was really early in the morning. I would definitely stay here again

There are several restaurants nearby and a cute coffee shop that makes great cappuccinos. The breakfast buffet was really nice and had great food options even for a pick eater
