Hotels on first line in Split

This was for three reasons: (1) a window facing street and hidden outside by shutters and inside by curtains behind desk was left ajar

The hotel room was exquisite, with ample air conditioning and a comfortable feel! The hotel is conveniently located in the old town! The staff was friendly and helpful in answering our questions

It is in the edge of the old town, very easy to get to the center and main attractions. Only downside is the curtain at the door doesn’t really seem to be big enough to cover lights

The style of the hotel is very vintage, the room and toilet are very big. Our room located next to the road, not too noisy at night time

However, we couldn't connect to the hotel's wifi in our room, which was a shame!

RECEPTION It’s so early to harvest, maybe because it’s a holiday. It's in an alley, so parking is troublesome. The water heater was broken, so we arranged to go to another hotel that was closer to the attractions.

Everything we needed was provided in the room, and all the pots and pans were clean and comfortable. The bed was large and had just the right amount of cushions, making it very satisfying

Free croissants, coffee, and milk are provided in the garden each morning, making breakfast a breeze. Bringing your own fruit, cheese, and other snacks for breakfast would be a more fulfilling experience

Great location and friendly & helpful staff/host. Only short walk to town centre, beaches & forest. Clean & spacious apartment.

The Bolt Taxi was a bit lost because it was in the wrong location. Korean apartments are usually very high-rise, but this one is small and cozy. The room smells wonderful when you enter. The bathroom is also very clean

This is perfect for enjoying Split 24 hours a day. The Old Town is just a few minutes' walk away. Be sure to experience the morning market and the vibrant nightlife of Split

The room was directly accessible from the first-floor alley. It was a bit confusing at first, but it was a bonus not having to carry heavy luggage up and down the stairs

Our first visit to Spit wow we loved it apartment where lovely every thing you need in your apartment lovely breakfast lots of choose from every where was clean lovely pool only gets the sun parts of the day but it was very hot in Sept it's about 15 mins walk to beach and 20 mins to the town which was fill of history had brilliant boat trip around the coast would recommend this great places to swim...

The room does not have a sea view. This is not like a hotel, more like a villa, the security of it is not very high, as it has 2 entrances. The entrance from the pool, anyone can access it without a problem

Friendly welcoming team at the hotel and room cleanliness was to a high standard. Would recommend due to its proximity to a small beach cove and 20min walking distance to the old town

The hotel offers good sizes rooms with good amenities and the pool is very nice

The swimming pool was quite dirty, it has a lot of bugs floating, and also it has not been regularly cleaned by the staff

The staff was very kind enough to send email me to make sure my arrival time and waited till my check in even he worked 1 hour extra. Still very friendly with smile. And gave great local information

Fabulous Stay Great location. Close proximity to Old Town and all the great Restaurants and Bars. Far enough away to be quiet and comfortable. Room was beautiful and well appoointed.

The unit had two bathrooms which was very nice. The place was very clean overall and the little outdoor patio allowed us to dry out some wet clothing

Split perfection What a wonderful home away from home in Split! Perfect location, incredibly generous size, clean, parking on site. We arrived late, and Julia was just so warm and accommodating and generous and friendly

Julija was so pleasant at check-in and she set up a taxi for us for a 4:30AM trip to the airport. The driver showed up right on time

Lovely little hotel! This is a wonderful little hotel, situated a stones throw from the old town in Split. Would definitely recommend, and would stay again if we ever found ourselves back in Split for a few days!

Beautiful unit, walking distance to the everything in the central Split area. Very welcoming hostess, and she was happy to provide recommendations and stow luggage for us. Highly recommend this destination.

The hotel is very clean and in the city center, within walking distance to the old town and the seaside. The service is also very thoughtful and recommended.

It’s about a 20-minute walk to the main promenade, and we felt completely safe walking back at night. The host was incredibly thoughtful and accommodating, making our stay feel personal and easy from start to finish

There is parking on the street if you have a car but it's first come first served, public street parking. The room was fine for a night or two, just ensure the air con is working before you let the greeter leave

Bathroom is clean and nice, towels etc all fine. They have a mini bar but shops and bars are not too far away either. The town is beautiful in the summer so well worth a trip regardless of where you stay

Its clean and tidy although the host needs you to confirm a lot of information about arrival so that they can meet you so you need to keep that in mind

He called the tourist area manager and warned them and got my money back. It was a personal incident, but even if I set aside the help I received, it was a good place to stay. Parking is on the street nearby

A great villa. It sleeps four people and allows us to cook our own food. There are live peacocks on the balcony for you to admire. I think they're the owner's pets. They poop.

We ate in some lovely resurants I would highly recommend Chops grill, excellent service and a delicious steak was had by us both. We will be back for sure and will stay in Residence Vestibul Palace again

Modern villa under the same group as Hotel Vestibul Palace. The location is decent, just a 5-10 min walk downhill to the Old Town, or 5 mins away from the supermarket

just a pretty sight! The main manager of the property, Antonia , was just BRILLIANT! Helpful, interesting, knowledgeable and, of course, friendly and professional! A great asset to the management team! If we are ever in Split again we would not hesitate to stay here again!

It was by far the best meal we had during our entire trip — a true gem not to be missed. If you’re looking for the perfect balance of peaceful accommodation and close proximity to all the action, this is the place

We were warming greeted by Tina on arrival after a tranfer arranged by the apartment for us from the airport. She swiftly checked us in and were shown to our gorgous 2 bedroom apartment

Great place. Damira is a Wonderful host....really can't do enough for you. Ideally situated between the old town and the many beaches only a 3 minutes walk. Really modern room. Well recommend!

Perfect place for visiting old town and relaxing on the beach! The beach is just a 5-minute walk from the apartment, and the old town is only 10 minutes away

The room was very nice, with a large, comfortable bed and air conditioning. The owner was incredibly helpful and kind – after check-out, we were allowed to leave our luggage and even take a shower before leaving

Rooms are very new and super comfortable. Room had a tv, refrigerator, safety locker and all usual amenities. Air-conditioning was superb and was a huge relief during these hot summer days

Host was super friendly and provided a great service. Conveniently Located very closer to the bus station and the old town. Wifi connection was not that strong

Location was hard to find and the apartment was located in the 2nd floor of a usual residential building. Anyway the host came down to meet us once we called. So it was not a big issue for us

Don’t get fooled by outside appearance of the building. Not welcoming. But once you get to the third floor you will be nicely suprised. Rooms are very clean, newly renovated and with taste. Highly recommended

This hotel does not provide breakfast, but it has a good location in the center of the old city, surrounded by attractions, supermarkets and restaurants; it is about a 10-minute walk to the train station and the pier, and there is also a popular ice cream shop next to it, which is popular with foreign tourists

Hotel was great albeit was a little surprised they had no toilets around reception. The location was questionable as the shopping centre is effectively shut and the only operating business is the hotel itself

The location is excellent, close to everything, restaurants, cafes, and next to the sea. It is better to stay at the hotel without breakfast.

(We are SURE 100% they were stolen as they didn’t leave the room we never brought electronics with us anywhere and the location they were at was 7km away from hotel where we had never been

However, there were not enough towels in the room, and there was no shower gel or lotion. When we asked for them, they were not provided – it’s hard to imagine a 4-star hotel lacking basic amenities

They never brought it… -there was a beautiful terrace on the 4th floor but we only found out about it on our last night. - we wanted to go to a beach and the staff said it was a 45 min walk and that’s only way to go

Our room is on the east side and has a balcony to see the side sea view. The room facilities are up to the four-star standard. There is an outswimming pool and a soaking pool on the seventh floor, and there is fitness

You can see some sea views from the second floor and above, and you can see the panoramic view of the city from the seventh floor platform. Facilities: The room is very large, which is relatively rare in Europe

It's a little far from the beach, but the price/performance ratio is very high. The hotel facilities are very clean and spacious. I am generally satisfied

The rooftop is a real plus surprise - the view is fantastic, the pool is so cool. Plus it also has sauna, gym and a jacuzzi - very comprehensive for such a boutique hotel

Service: It feels like a hotel bought and operated by a Filipino boss. They speak English with some accents. The roomclean in the morning is a bit early, knocking on the door at nine o'clock

Environment: It is in a residential area outside the city center, about two kilometers away from Riva Street and the bus terminal. The surrounding environment is average

All is good. There is restaurant down the hotel. It is near the bus station going to Split. Near the beaches and restaurants and groceries. All is ok.

We had a rental car, the staff member helped ensure it was parked in the right spot. Great room. Had a sea view. Would stay again. Easy walk to main street for food.

I recommend it to everyone, great place, excellent owners, gorgeous sea !!

The staff was wonderful and super helpful in arranging a private shuttle to the airport upon our departure which was really early in the morning. I would definitely stay here again

There are several restaurants nearby and a cute coffee shop that makes great cappuccinos. The breakfast buffet was really nice and had great food options even for a pick eater

Location is excellent: This hotel is in the Peoples’ Square minutes from the Diocletian Palace. It has an elevator so you don’t have to lug your suitcases up the stairs to your room

Duje was extremely helpful and plotted out the places we should visit on a map with a lot of descriptions! Rooms were clean and new. Location is easy walking distance to all the action in split. Highly recommended!

It's only a 20-minute walk from the hotel to major seaside attractions, such as Diocletian's Palace. Calling an Uber takes about ten minutes and costs around EUR 10

For those driving, parking is available right downstairs at the hotel. The host is very nice, and the breakfast is excellent. There are stairs to the entrance, so it's a bit of a walk

The owner is really nice and helpful. He dropped us to he center free of cost with his car. The rooms are as they are shown in the picture. The food at the restaurant was also more tasty and less expensive than the city

Anna at the check-in was so helpful- walked us to our room (in the Annex Building) and was very accommodating. The pre-arranged p/up at the airport was very efficient, driver was excellent.

A group of us stayed in 2 of the apartments away from the hotel. Very clean & well furnished. Free wine in both rooms, beer in the fridge :-)

Friendly and helpful staff, got an upgrade. Lovely room but many stairs, if that is a problem book a room at a lower floor. Especially if you have much luggage. Parking is about 15 min away, EUR15/day

The hotel still use physical keys. They close the front door after 11 PM so they give 2 keys 1 for front door 1 for main room (hope they upgrade to digital soon)

We had excellent quiet and comfortable rooms with kitchenettes. The setting was close to the old town and marina but away from the huge number of tourists, a calm retreat with lovely garden terraces to sit out on

Our host was Nicola who was extremely helpful and generous. He gave us information for our visit , arranged taxis. I left my apple airpods in our room and resent them back to me in the UK. He refused my offers of payment

The building and grounds are very secure (main entrance to grounds keycode and each apartment has 2 locks) the owner was very hospitable, offered to carry our cases up and down the stairs as they were quite heavy

The owner was great and I loved the patio and garden area. It is steps from the old town and also right nights to stairs that go up to watch the sunset overlooking the town and water

Nikole was available to help with any questions we had, and went above and beyond to assist us when we left our phone at the hotel, arranging to get it to us in another city

Each apartment is different so it's worth having a look at the options to see what will work best for you - the apartments with garden or terrace are nice

This homely gem is run by a very hard working kind and helpful person called Damir. Our flight was late and we arrived at the B&B by midnight, a bit tired and hungry. I had communicated this delay to him on booking

Great view from your terrace, and was constantly available on the phone when we wanted to contact him, both before and during our stay. He deserves more guests, and you deserve to be hosted by him

He had prepared a salad and small fish with bread for us just so we don't go hungry! He didn't have to and we much appreciate him for this, especially since we were not asked to pay for this food

I would love to stay here again. Damir keeps the place clean and shiny, and even has a special herbal tea blend that he makes and greeted us with it. I hope he goes from strength to strength

Host has all the amenities and social skills to enhance your stay in Split. He can arrange for transportation, and knows the city and surroundings like the back of his hand

Great breakfast! 👏👏👏 great variety of products. Room super cozy in first floor. Bed was big and with great quality of sheets. The receptionist was friendly and really kind. You can have free parking in -1

We arrived with our motorbikes and they give us the possibility to leave the bags an our helms before the check in to visit the city. breakfast is super! Rooms are good and silent

The center its 25 minutes walking distance… be aware of where you leave the car at the street…
