Celebi Garden Hotel - Cittaslow Retreat in Famagusta

We had a pleasurable and relaxing stay at this lovely hotel which was extremely clean and well looked after. The staff were kind and helpful as soon as we arrived. We booked bed and breakfast. We also had dinner in the evening which was very nice. The views are absolutely stunning. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The Room we stayed in had Heavenly Views from dawn till dusk ❤️🌞 Mountain and Sea views, with Beautiful Fruit trees situated everywhere on the grounds.
Banana 🍌, pomegranate, Figs, Grapes, Pears and my favourite Jasmin trees ❤️
The Family baby Bunny 🐰 was a special treat for all the guests to pet and spoil with lots of yummy treats.
Breakfast and Dinner was delicious, fresh and locally sourced 🙌🏼
Hotel is Clean, well looked after throughout and we really enjoyed our 12 day stay…
Great Swimming pool ❤️ and pool side music choice was excellent.
The welcoming mountain fresh air surrounding the hotel was greatly welcomed with the extremely warm weather of July 2025.
The local Beach was 12 minutes away with a car
Highly recommend this beach also.

It’s definitely one of our most memorable trips as a family. We were welcomed warmly by the sisters (Buse and Naziyet) as well as Ozden. Our room had an amazing view of the mountains and greenery which is beautiful to look out to in the evenings.

Facilities
Pool and inflatable slide was sufficient for my boys (10&8years) to be entertained throughout the day (10am-6pm). The pool bar played nice music and wasn’t blaring which is nice when you want to read a book and listen to soft background music.
They had plenty of board games like chess, darts and pool table.
A good space to kick a ball or play bat and ball!
Farm experience was brilliant - Ozden took my boys on the ATV to the farm which is about 3 mins drive. We fed the animals and was really taken by Dos the friendly donkey!!
If looking for more activity to burn energy off the kids, there’s a massive playground in the town centre 3 mins drive away but we didn’t need to use it!

Food and drinks
Reasonably priced. We had dinner there both nights and enjoyed how fresh it all tasted. First night we had ala carte and was served a meze of dips for our starter and a surprise dessert which we didn’t expect. Second night we opted for buffet and it was 615 TL (£11!) and the dishes were so delicious - lamb shank, chicken kebab, liver, mac and cheese pasta bake, salads, chicken wings, and fruit platter + cakes for dessert.

Rooms
We were lucky to be able to book the family room for our family of 4. Was two double rooms with a shared bathroom but was our private space. I think family rooms are on second floor whereas the double rooms are ground floor. We didn’t mind not having a lounge area so much as we enjoyed spending time by the pool and restaurant area. Plenty of seating places to play card games and chill.

I love that they have max occupant capacity which makes our stay comfortable as we weren’t fighting for sunbeds or tables for our meals. We felt like we had the place to ourselves most of the time and never felt like we were in the way of others.

Thanks Celebi family for a lovely trip and experience. We loved it all and can’t wait to be back soon!

We had a lovely time there. We stayed for three days, and everything was beyond our expectations. The breakfast was amazing, and the staff were very cooperative. Although they didn’t speak or understand much English, they made every effort to communicate. I would strongly recommend this place.

It is a rare find in such locality and with such a clean pool. The authentic breakfast coupled with service standards makes it an ideal option.its rare to see such standards nowadays in hotel management. The promptness of the responses from the management are exemplary. I have travelled to many hotels but this one stands alone in these standards and making it one of the best in the area.

We found Celebi Gardens by chance since it is in the vicinity. We are very greatful to have found this hidden jem Butik hotel.Finally a PET FRIENDLY hotel! Pets are FREE! Family owned. Reception speaks Fluent English, they served us a fresh organic breakfast & we got settled in our room. The rooms are spacious and extremely clean. The view is breath taking and set in nature. Impressive sea view & Olive/Apple tree groves. This hotel makes their own local wine & Zivania.The Maratheftiko wine is lovely. Very reasonable prices. All of the food is organic & local. They have a wide variety of options for meat (BBQ) lovers & veggie/vegan alternative main dishes.
About an hour after arrival we drove into the village and our car broke down. The Celebi management sent a mechanic within 2 minutes to pick up our car and replace the battery! We chilled at the pool while my car was being repaired and they offered us free Zivania shots! A huge Thank You to Buse, Kemal and Naz. We loved every minute of our stay. We will be back :)

We held a children's party here and the staff were so welcoming and helpful. The good was plentiful and very good quality and a fine time was had by all!
