The Horizont Hotel offers exceptional comfort for family vacations, and the hotel's facilities and services allow you to spend your afternoons and evenings actively after skiing. Our family and friends visit this hotel every year, and I hope this tradition will continue. It is a unique hotel with a friendly atmosphere and helpful, kind, and dedicated staff. Maximum comfort, cleanliness, and excellent cuisine are a matter of course here. Everything is tailored to any kind of activity: a ski bus to the slopes, a children's ski lift opposite the hotel, a cable car to Sněžka around the corner, a sauna, a swimming pool, a whirlpool, a gym, massages... There is a parallel program for children in the children's corner. The staff are pleasant and appreciate your loyalty. In short, I highly recommend it!

Pleasantly spacious room with very comfortable beds. The staff is very nice and the cuisine is excellent. The breakfast menu is luxurious. The retro look is compensated by a very pleasant family atmosphere and a high level of service. Highly recommeded.

Wonderful accommodation and perfect breakfast. The swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna are included in the price of the stay, we really liked it here. The SkyBar on the top floor of the hotel is also perfect.

Room - small, but seemed new + clean. 6th floor = no great view. Food - large variety, egible but taste did not exceeded average, dinner price 440 CZK / person is rather more expensive. The hotel looks old from outside but is nice inside. Staff i very pleasant and helpful, food is very good, rooms are nice and clean. We really enjoyed our stay.

The whole stay was pretty good. Receptionists were very friendly and cooperative. Room was small but clean and cosy. Breakfasts were delicious and there were plenty of different items to choose from. Fitness room was well equipped with lots of different machines and dumb bells. The message was excellent and the masseuse was the prettiest I have ever seen.

Good value for money. Great location and decent breakfasts. Lovely and helpful staff. My review about this place may be slightly biased as I spent there unforgettable moments with someone really special during the winter season of 2012. Nonetheless, highly recommended guesthouse in a picturesque Pec :)

This review is about restaurant only. It was very good. Very modest prices and very good quality of traditional dishes. Not to mention perfect service and good coffee. I wish there were places like this in Prague (but there seem to be none).

We only ate at the restaurant:
With a smile: Friendly welcoming staff. Despite the fact that I do not understand much of the Czech language, their friendliness -- also to the kids -- was borderless and making Esperanto even more useless.

I do suspect that some of the staff have telepathic and telekinetic super powers, as orders were delivered very fast... mainly beers. FYI: I did even order extra beers (of course only to test this suspicion) and indeed they did arrive at intergalactic speed.

I ordered steak, which I eventually also ate (all of it). Good meat, well prepared, very tasty.

Our stay at Krokus was GREAT! Very nice atmosphere, super communication with service. Very tasty breakfast, clean and tidy rooms! Everywhere was close - skibus, ski rental, supermarket and the way to Snezka! Parking at the back of Hotel. See you next time!;)

We expected much worse according to reviews. We had traditional Czech dishes and they were fine. Waitress was smiling and everything was quick.
