Perfect accommodation, we will definitely return. Great food, great feeling. Rooms are luxuriously furnished, reasonable walk to the centre of Spindl.

Nice room but no air-condition which makes it in summer time bit hot. Hotel is little too noisy but great for families with kids. Breakfast and wellness great.

Very nice children-friendly hotel in the heart of Giant Mountains. Very friendly stuff, good variety of food. Overall very pleasant experience! Will come again

great wellness and sauna world

Good hotel with convenient location of the slopes. There is a spa area, children's school, delicious food. For the rooms 4, very hard bed at the extra bed, the child could not sleep. But in general it is normal.

Hotel: Hotel was freshly rebuilt, so everything is in a very good shape. Room service was average (it could be really better), the hotel itself was clean. Receptionist staff solved problems slowly and incompliantly. Restaurant: We had half board. Food was tastefull, regulary refilled and wide choice was offered. We were really satisfied. Ultimately: better than expected. For their life they simply couldn't fix their internet and access point problems, until they seemed to have pulled it off. Great people on staff, who are at the core of their welcoming service. This review initially picked out one of the shortfalls, as it seemed symptomatic for just how notoriously under-invested many aging hotel chain branches are these days. But...

A very serviceable option. Breakfast was extensive but quality average. It was nice that the pancakes were cooked fresh. Staff were excellent - friendly and helpful. The rooms and decor was pretty basic and dated - not that that matters too much on a ski holiday. Very family orientated which wasn't great for us as a couple. The wellness suite was okay but facilities were average and there wasn't much...

Didn’t stay at the hotel but ate lunch in the restaurant. Worth the uphill walk to reach this excellent restaurant with great views. Wide choice of Delicious vegan and vegetarian dishes. Pictured is the falafel salad. Stylish setting and reasonable prices.

Good bar and nice staff, food is fine for occasion visit

Wonderful hotel overlooking the Spindleruv Mlyn valley. The rooms were spacious and the service was excellent. Use of the SPA (Jacuzzi, Sauna, etc) for free was wonderful after a long days hike.

Velice příjemný pobyt, super způsob polopenze (tříchodovou večeři si člověk prostě poskládá z jídelního lístku), spousta služeb kolem, půjčovna elektrokol přímo v hotelu. Jen jedna hvězda dolů za jednoho člověka z personálu restaurace (všichni ostatní skvělí).

Very nice and clean hotel with fantastic service beginning from the very helpfull sir in the reception, restaurant waiters, to the service man who repaired my broken boot (big thank you - it worked even on the Śnieżka peak) :-)! The historical place with the greate and calm atmosphere in the middle of mountains.It was really pleasure spend time here.Thank you for all, we will come back again for sure

Great location for trecking on Polish-Czech border

Very nice and hospital atmosphere, delicious, Czech beverages such as liquor, bear or hot wine are served there.

Great place, stuff is very friendly, food fenomenol! You want dance above the clouds this is a place to be,summer // winter really anytime ....

When in Krkonose, you have to there for lunch or coffee 'on top of the world'. Hourly buses from Spindleruv Mlyn (1 way 50 CZK). And once up, hike along the Czech-Polish border. Also you can stay there overnight - not super luxurious but more than adequate for a few nights.

Family-style bed and breakfast, doesn't pretend to be something more.

Hotel Astra is a 3 star hotel and services are accordingly. The beds are great though.

Not everyone speaks English, they are great for local tourists. Not used to north-western directness, that is not appreciated. Hotel is a bit outdated and not much light

We were starving and this place was the only one around. Although the kitchen was supposed to be closed, they offered us a short list of meals they can prepare for us. Our lunch was delicious and price quite cheap per portion. Stuff was very welcoming and kind.

My second stay in this hotel. Overall it has basic standard and sometimes a bit gloomy atmosphere. But the hotel is clean, quiet, spacious, well located and the breakfast was varied and good. Receptionists were friendly too. Overall good value - price ratio compared to other offers during new year time in the area.

Friendly staff, nice room but not the best breakfast. But on the other hand relatively cheap. 10-15 minutes from the city center. Beautiful nature all around.

The view from the room was beautiful and the location worked really well for hiking. There was also a bar open in the evening and a lounge area with TV, table football etc. The breakfast was great and the personnel were really friendly! Only downside was that the room tidiness could be a bit improved (there was some dust under the bed and the condition of the sheets)

Not very good expierence. Rooms like from soviet times. Poor facilities. Breakfast poor. 3 stars not 2 because room servi e, cleanliness was good. Strongly recommended to avoid.

Secluded and clean with great view.

Staff in this hotel is great, very friendly and helpful. When we came there and we were exhausted, they let us order food at the restaurant, even though it was already closed. Food is very good and the customer service is great. The view from the hotel is exquisite and the price was reasonable too. Thank you for your hospitality. I would definitely like to come back again.

this only regards the inhouse restaurant Friuli... we visited the restaurant 3 times. food is sometimes good sometimes inadequate service is friendly but can turn out to be a expensive acquaintance and laking the eye fore the individual customer first day/visit restaurant was 1/2 full, time just around evening service start 18:00 we tried the pizza, burger, carpaccio, grilled lamb chops, PULLED...

We didn’t stay at the hotel but we had lunch here. Menu was on the larger side, but you could have everything from Italian, Czech to Buffalo wings. For me ( as a vegetarian) the best thing was the sweet potato fries- thin cut and crispy. I would go back especially for these.

Small room and limited menu but a reasonable price in a good location.

Quiet hotel, a good diet, just the room could be better,for example, a wet towel was not possible anywhere dry, žebřinové heating in the bathroom was impossible to turn on. As well as black spots and corners in the bathroom but also on the window could be certainly clean. Jibak weaker wi-fi's gonna and television about two Czech programmes, but for about man to the Next doesn't.

I was here in the summer of 2014, staying for a week with half board. With the room satisfaction price match the quality. Breakfast buffet with slightly above-average selection. A three-course dinner were good. The waiter was for my taste a little too chatty but funny :). In the night someone in the hotel parking lot he crashed his car and took it to the front light. The next morning, I was alerted...

I was there only one night and it was amazing , I paid less than in the previous hotel (20 mins from mlyn) I slept very good . they gave us food because they knew we leave early , thank you

Great hotel, fantastic location and lovely spa. The weekend receptionist was amazingly helpful, friendly, and above all, professional. The receptionist on Monday/Tuesday, however, was infinitely less.

Hotel with great restaurant in hearth of Špindlerův Mlýn. The staff is caring and helpful. Rooms are equipped normally, spa is equipped with 3 differen types of sauna, jacuzzi, restroom and Knippe pavement. For me easy 5 🌟

Daily menus are awesome and tasty. You wont regret if you come to Hotel grand for a lunch / dinner. Customer service 5/5.

Super friendly stuff. The Appartment 1under the rooftop is great. We stayed with 5 people for 3 days. The breakfast for under 2€ is okay. The restaurants fish and ships is very good.

The aging hotel has great service and is ideally located on a small hill. The rooms are simple without frills....

If you only need a place to sleep, this is enough for you. If you really want to vacation and also want to stay in the hotel, you should look for another hotel. The beds here are very hard, breakfast could be better. When you arrive, nobody is there, you just take your key and you're done. No briefing, nothing. We really imagined it better here. Too bad actually.

Nice family friendly hotel, hotelmutter smiling and friendly, you feel immediately welcome. The servant must, however, learn to be more service-minded, and adopt a more accommodating attitude.

Great hotel, friendly stuff, delicious meals, everything was great. I was here with a kid, there were two play room for kids, paper and pencils for drawing during a dinner and so no. Its it very nice place with a lot of possibilities for traveling

Beautiful hotel. Thought of everything! Rooms are nice. Super clean with balconies and Mountain View’s. Small shower rooms but what a treat to have Rituals and Elemis products. With bathrobes and slippers. Spa is rather lovely with a view of the ski resort. Buffet is delicious and bar is so lovely run open fire! Lockers super handy for ski equipment! Loved it! 100%

Hotel was amazing, location is great. Hotel service are good. Hotel here wellness option, Dailly schedule routine for kids and parents, yoga, disco etc. Rooms are not noisy , great for family stay. Only one thing that bed are king size but with 2 mattress and kids size blanket, person with 1.90m high will never be covered:( Breakfast is fine ,not many options for vegetarian people. We visit the hotel every year in the summer. It´s always perfect stay and relax. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The wifi is fast. Rich and tasty breakfast buffet. Wellness and massages are available at the hotel. There is a luxury restaurant Legend in the hotel. The staff is attentive and nice. I can recommend.

And if you want you can spend some lovely time in their bar, which is authentic mountain bar, full of wood, cozy sofas and you'll find even "fireplace" (fake one, but...

The spa and restaurant were FANTASTIC. The room was very disappointing - especially the bathroom: our showerhead holder was broken, the lights were flickering and there was no place near the sink to place your belongings. It seems we got the "eccessible" bathroom since the toilet was uncomfortably high and there was only a walk-in shower, no bath. After a day of sport activities I really wanted a warm...

One of the Best hotels worldwide what I ever seen. Normly, I am always very critical but here I didn't find any reason to criticize.

It was a very beautiful restaurant. The service was excellent. The food was delicious albeit the portions weren't exactly grand in size. All in all: an excellent dining environment.
