Hotel Union in Prague

4 stars 🌟 hotel with no warm water in the evening. How is that even possible?!
We had a small child and went there in December for a few days. In the morning there was warm water for 1 time. When coming back from the Christmas market there was never warm water.
The location is good, right next to the tram, but it has poor insulation and the tram will wake you up early.
Half a star from me!

There was no hot water throughout the entire stay. This serious issue was reported multiple times to the reception desk. We were repeatedly assured that hot water would be available within 20 minutes, or at the latest within an hour. These assurances proved to be simply a lie. There was no hot water the next morning, nor the following evening, nor the morning after that.
The reception staff provided clearly false information. A manager was supposedly scheduled to appear the next morning, but never did. That morning, we were informed that the manager would also not be coming that day, but only the following one — which again did not happen. At no point was a responsible manager available.
The room was dirty. The toilet flush buttons were not functioning properly and the issue was not resolved. There was no remote control for the air conditioner. Television was not available (unless specifically requested from reception). Hotel slippers were not provided. During the entire stay, the room was not cleaned and the towels were not replaced.
The breakfast was unacceptable and far below any reasonable standard.
The conditions described above, as well as the way complaints were handled, are unacceptable. This hotel is not recommendable, and we will definitely not return.

Horrible experience in this hotel. My AC didn’t work from the very beginning. I reported it and receptionists came to check like they didn’t know. They didn’t fix it and refused to refund me.
Later I heard from other customer complaining about the same issue.
They know they have problems but they don’t care!
