Reviews
The room cleaning service was fantastic. They cleaned every single day, which kept the room fresh and comfortable throughout our entire stay.
The breakfast buffet was a major highlight. There was a wide variety of options to choose from every morning, catering to different tastes.
The only sad part of our stay was that they charge an extra fee to use their pool, and we weren’t notified about it when we checked in. It would have been much better if the front desk had let us know at arrival.
Overall, it was a pretty good experience thanks to the cleanliness and great food. Just keep the extra pool fee in mind if you plan to swim!
Rooms are lovely, quiet (even though close to a main road), cosy. Crazy number of mirrors in a bathroom for someone who loves themselves a lot 😊.
Room service worked like some magic.
The only thing I didn’t enjoy and that made me stressed was the breakfast. It’s a big hotel, many guest. Our first morning was absolute chaos. Couldn’t find a single table to sit down at. Almost felt like fighting. The food was weirdly laid out, I felt like I had to walk a mile to gather all the bits and bobs for me and my child. I am gluten free and can’t have dairy. The gluten free food was plentiful and tasty and away from everything else. But coffee was in one place and for alternative milk I had to walk all the way back to the gluten free display.
It took ages, wasn’t clear what’s where and some things difficult to find (I.e. margarine, cutlery).
We had to make a tactic to handle the next breakfast and it went a bit better but still felt like hard work.
Food and drinks at the hotel are a bit more expensive compared to prices in the city, but the convenience and wide selection make it worthwhile, especially after a long day. The elevators are fast, so staying on a higher floor is no issue at all.
The room was spacious, with large comfortable beds and a bathtub, which was a nice bonus. If you stay higher up, the views are open and very enjoyable. The spa located at the top of the building is a highlight, and having access to Thai massage on site is a big plus.
There is also a gym with modern equipment. It is not very large, but more than enough to stay active during a trip.
Parking is plentiful at the hotel and included, which is a big advantage. There is also a metro station right outside the hotel, making it very easy and quick to get into the city center.
Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety and honestly nothing to complain about. Overall, a high-quality hotel with great comfort, service, and facilities. I would happily stay here again.
The location is excellent, right next to the subway station. The room was very tidy and clean, with good ventilation. We booked a castle view room, and the view was indeed fantastic.
The only slight drawback was that it was a bit cold at night (mid to late March), and the air conditioning's heating wasn't very effective. We ended up asking the front desk for a small electric heater.
Pros:
The location is very convenient and the view from the hotel is beautiful. The room was clean and the staff were polite and welcoming. Breakfast was exceptional with a great variety of options. We also really enjoyed the Executive Lounge – it was a perfect place to relax and there was always a good selection of drinks and snacks available.
Cons:
There were a few issues in the room. The shower plumbing was broken and didn’t properly hold the shower head. The shower was also not fully covered, so water splashed onto the bathroom floor. There were no electrical sockets near the bed, which was inconvenient. The curtains had stains and the windows needed cleaning, which unfortunately made it harder to fully enjoy the view.
Additionally, my mother and I stayed during her birthday on March 8. When making the reservation, I left a note asking for a small symbolic gesture since I had seen in previous reviews that the hotel sometimes does this for guests. Unfortunately, nothing was prepared, which was a bit disappointing.
Hygiene: Very clean and well-maintained. The decor has an older, classic style.
Environment: The location and surroundings are excellent, very close to both the city center and supermarkets.
Service: The service is great, very private and undisturbed.
