The hotel overall is not bad, but the facilities are outdated and need some renovation. Breakfast was surprisingly basic - in reviews it mentioned as good: it consists of a basic set of meals like eggs, pastry, cornflakes, bread cheese and ham. Location is really good, value for money in the end is not bad, but can't say it's a steal

The hotel is located somewhat secluded on a quiet side street. Check-in was friendly and quick.
The rooms are spread over five floors, most of which are quicker to reach via the stairs than the extremely slow elevator. The somewhat small room was comfortably furnished, but the mattress was sagging. The bathroom was spotlessly clean, but hot water was inconsistent throughout the day.
Breakfast was served in a small room on the lowest floor daily from 7:30 a.m. and was not outstanding.

Despite the inconvenience of the unavailable room they remedied it with a very nice and clean apartment... they made a taxi available to us to reach it even if it was close... I would say that the solution was positive... varied and plentiful buffet breakfast... very friendly .

This is my first time in Prague and this is one expensive hotel (but I guess it's like this for all hotels in Prague). Location wise, it's is a walkable 15 minutes to the main train station or the metro station is only a few mintues away. The staff are really helpful. They helped planned my day's sightseeing! There are a few restaurants nearby but most still require about a 5 to 10 minute walk.
The room itself is very clean, spacious and come with all the usual amenities. I have some issues with getting hot water for showering on one of the day which was fixed quite promptly but I think the hot water is only satisfactory hot (and not like boiling hot). I stayed during the winter months so the AC in the room don't work. The building is centrally heated and the temperature adjustment is against the wall. It took me two days to figure this out though the temperature in my room was okay (so it doesn't really matter).
Overall, my stay has been pleasant and I will likely stay here again next time I'm in Prague (and I will be back. Prague is such a beautiful city). I'm hoping next time I won't need to fork out an arm and a leg to stay here.
