Lovely mountain Hotel nested on a hill, just a few minutes walk from village centre, and not far away from Skiing areas. Rooms are comfortable and clean, very warm in winter time, with lots of storage room and big bathroom. Everyone working in hotel was very kind and helpful.

We ended a number of walks at the restaurant as they serve local Trautenberk beer. The food was good and the menu had a good variety on offer. Staff were friendly and spoke a mixture of German, English and Czech. Terrace felt like you were still out in the mountains but you are only 100 or so metres from the centre

We were very happy with our choice of hotel. It has a nice atmosphere, not only based on looks but especially because of the friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was nice and plentiful, we especially liked the home made blueberry, raspberry and apricot cakes and very good endless coffee. Would definitely recommend this place for couples, it was close to the center of town (maybe 200m), yet in a peaceful and quiet location. It was the perfect base for our hiking trips.

We started our cycle of the river Elbe from here having had a good breakfast. They had secure (inside) bike parking.
Thankfully they were able to help us get one of the hydraulic brakes bled that had lost pressure during the flight to Czech Republic. Amazing service, can't recommend enough.

The Hotel is in quite location, close to the snowtubing, slide for sledding and small ski hill that is perfect for kids and beginners. There is a restaurant in the Hotel itself, very comfortable and with tasty food. Billiard and kids room for free. Free parking. Very kind workers at the reception and the bar. Ski rent is right at the corner of the Hotel, they drive you to and pick you up from the ski. You can rent the ski lessons there also. We took ski lessons with Vojtech for our kid and it was perfect .
This place is perfect also for people that are first time there or travel without a car, you have everything needed in one place.

I don’t think this place has any flaws. Very beautiful building with lots of history, looking like it was just remodeled. Plenty of parking space for quests. The interior is all wood and it feels very cozy. The staff is super friendly and professional. Rooms are very clean, bathrooms look brand new. Breakfast was my favorite time of day. Delicious and plenty of it. There is a lounge area with fusbal and pool table, even a little library. There is also a kiddie corner with toys and coloring supplies. Very close to the city center. Everything about this place is very vibrant and positive. I am coming back for more.

Fantastic food and a very friendly service. The hotel has a great atmosphere of a classic mountain lodge with all the amenities that you might need and some great beer, of course! I will definitely return and I can’t recommend it enough. Value for money is the best in the region.
