Great stay, I would give 4.5 stars but since that wasn't possible I'm more leaning towards 5 than a 4. The main things: 1. Everything is spotless. Absolute cleanliness everywhere: rooms, hallways, pools, cafe, etc. I don't think I've ever seen a hotel this clean. 2. Rooms are very nice. Large, great showers with great water pressure, large windows. 3. Food was fantastic. Large variety day over day. Over our week long stay we had chicken, beef, turkey, pork, chicken liver, deer, fish, duck. Multiple daily protein choices. Sides were really good as well. Honestly it felt more like home cooked food than something you'd get in a hotel. 4. Everyone was really nice. Yea don't expect Egypt type of "butt kissing" but hotel staff was very polite and friendly. Helped us with all our inquiries. 5. Services were on point. 6. Location. Tucked a way but 3-5 min walk to everything. Small negatives: 1. Wifi is a joke. It barely worked when I tried it a few different times and didn't work in the room at all. Luckily my phone signal was VERY strong so I didn't really mind. 2. Coffee is only available during breakfast or you can purchase it after 4pm at the bar. No coffee for lunch(why?). You could get tea for lunch though. Plenty of coffee shops within 5 minute walk. 3. Issues with wet sauna not turning on. Multiple people experienced it. I'm sure it's something they'll fix but still worth it to bring up.

I can't say enough about a well-kept, clean hotel with an excellent medical center. The swimming pools, the roof terrace, all usable even after hours thanks to the exquisite courtesy of all the reception staff. I underline the courtesy of all the people at the reception and in the breakfast room. The hotel is in an excellent location, central, but nevertheless in a very quiet street.

A very disappointing stay and not at all what we expected for the amount paid. The staff were very rude and unhelpful, the manager nowhere to be found and no information or help available anywhere. The spa is inaccessible and an appointment impossible unless you speak Czech - upon arrival at the spa hotel, we were told that there was no one available to book treatments with and no one works past 3.30pm on a Friday even though the website says open until 5pm. We were told, rudely, we had to go to the spa at 9am the next morning to book something. 9am the next day, we go down to the spa and wait for 30 minutes are taken into a small office and huffily asked what we want. We want a massage but all that’s left is two 30 minute slots – we have the massages which last only 20 minutes. Czech radio is blasting throughout the whole thing. There are so many facilities at the spa but no one can explain them or offer access to them - it didn't make any sense. A number of machines in the gym were broken. The breakfast isn’t even close to what is described or shown on the website – few options. The buffet dinner also leaves a lot to be desired. The rooms are not made up on a daily basis – only the bins are changed. We called down and asked that someone come and tidy the room but were told that only happens every 3 days – we were only staying 3 days. No facilities in the room - not even a coffee machine. This is not a 4* service – this was not a cheap hotel/ None of the staff were interested in helping us – the lady on reception, Michaela, even laughed in our faces, when we tried to speak with her.

I like this hotel ,I ,ve visited it several times !The new swimming pool is the best in Karlovy Vary,the rooms are comfy ,the stuff is polite. BUT the big problem is the food!Before 2018 it was nice but now I was very dissappointed! For dinner there are only 2 kinds of meat dishes,once there was fish but instead of “trout” it was some cheap kind,for dessert you have one day pie or ice- cream the other day! If you want to have coffe at the bar you have to ask the waitress in the dinning area! I presume that there are some finansial problems of the menagment!

I made a booking through a 3rd party website, without the option of free cancellation. Despite this, I contacted the hotel direct and they agreed to a full cancellation without any penalty. This is really generous and is great customer service. I will definitely book again once Covid is over. Thank you.

A large, separate, new, clean pool with a hydromassage jet on the first floor (included with the spa as a complimentary feature in your stay). A nice, new spa on the third floor (small, clean pool, 2 hammams, 2 saunas, a jacuzzi, and an ice maker). A varied and delicious breakfast in the restaurant. A cozy, clean, superior room (4th floor). The main drinking galleries are 5-7 minutes away, the Diana funicular is 15 minutes away, and the airport is 14 minutes away (12 euros).

Cute cozy hotel. All the staff speak Russian, very friendly and welcoming. You can order half Board, full Board or Breakfast only. You can not eat at the hotel at all, but it is in vain, because here are prepared well. Breakfast - buffet. I recommend the local cheese is delicious as it is simple and natural. For lunch and dinner must be ordered in advance soup and hot and the choice of side dishes and salads will be the same on the buffet. The hotel - sanatorium, here is the doctor will recommend you treatments and water from what source you should drink. But the atmosphere of peace and goodwill already has a beneficial impact exhausted by the stresses of daily life in Russia a man and you will return home a different. Do not deny yourself the pleasure just to relax.

唔好住呢間酒店，枕頭超薄，2手床褥咁
個升盤塞既，空氣唔流通。唔好過夜。

The hotel is very old & already out of standard its worse than the hostel. Excluding the facilities.

Photos shown are totally different from the reality.

TV size is smaller then my notebook.
When you are lying on bed I'm sure you can't enjoy at all.

Swimming pool or Spa facilities opening time at 13:00 to 20:30 what the xxxxx?!

Inside the room there are no freah air.
Window or balcony have to be opened during the rainy day.
The bed is like second hand bed, the pillow is bad.

Also in the morning, the chief in omelets section is avoiding to cook...

Witnessed a altercation between some Asian tourists and hotel staff at breakfast. The hotel staff shouted at the tourist who tried to open the door to restaurant as they were apparently early and breakfast wasn't ready... Was shocked at the rudeness of the staff but also the shouting match so early in the morning. Sure woke me up even without caffeine! Don't think I'd stay here again despite it's great location. Many other hotels in Karlovy Vary.
