Salvator Hotel Karlovy Vary in Karlovy Vary

Basic hotel in a spectacular location.Rooms were very dated .no English tv channels Curtains didn’t close properly.Lack of sockets. My tips for fellow traveler’s are definitely book a balcony room To get some air in the room it’s shocking to me that all rooms don’t have air conditioning. Even with a balcony the room was uncomfortable. Secondly if you have a late arrival bring sandwiches The entire spa zone area from the thermal hotel to the grand pupp hotel closes at 10 pm It literally turns into a ghost town nowhere to eat and I mean nowhere everything closes . We arrived late after a delayed flight and literally had to go to bed hungry the male hotel receptionist was of no assistance to us when we asked about location of somewhere to eat ie take away or sandwich. The breakfast is very basic. as was the terrace cafe restaurant we only ate here once and were asked by staff how much of a tip we were giving them there are far nicer restaurants all around the area.I couldn’t recommend this hotel given the standard of accommodation and service in the other hotels In the area.I have always found the positive in every hotel we stay in unfortunately it is not the case here .
