It was ok..needs some upgrading..especially the shower heads..

The current establishment is satisfactory, but an upgrade to a three-star or four-star hotel is necessary to advance in the competition.

Had booking issues due to language barrier. Otherwise pretty okay hotel. Breakfast included was not worth it. Coffee alone was okay….the food was very blah and inconsistent menu due to occupancy. Oh the music at the pool was very very loud. Had to ask the reception desk to turn it down.

Is a great place, the stuff are very nice, i have been going back for several years, great location, not too fancy but nice place. My only suggestion will be make sure everything is working perfectly in the room before checking it I know things may happen but there are things that can be addressed before the guests check in. After this this is solve I will give 5 stars

Good hotel for the price. Nothing extraordinary but serviceable. Super clean rooms and friendly staff members. Location is kind of sketchy but near a main street atleast. My wifi didn't work in my room so I had no television. Would not stay here again but if you're on a budget this is the place.

Request 1st floor room 2 months in advance do to physical limitations did not receive one

The rooms need some TLC… the mattresses can be updated as make lots of noise when you move . Other than that having breakfast by the River is priceless!!!

When you arrive, the grounds are really something. Beautiful planting, gorgeous setting on the river. Let down by surly staff and, for us, a tired room with a damp bathroom and dodgy shower and an old matress. The gardens and river are lovely but the staff were unhelpful and uninterested.

Great staff! The breakfast buffet AMAZING, the facilities breathtaking. Love the hit shower 🛀 and the hot jacuzzi mega points. The river by the restaurant… over the top and I LOVE the pets around the property 🥰 we had massages 💆‍♀️ oh lala magic hands definitely retuning to this paradise ✨

The room was almost perfect except the water from the bathtub was leaking out through the joint. Staff friendly, the scenic view is just amazing… the hotel is well kept and recently renewed and we had a nice, relaxed time… next time I’ll ask for a room with river view …

Gets 5 stars for location! Beautiful property with a great restaurant and swimming pool. Fun for families. Playground for children along with billiards and ping pong tables. Friendly staff.

The room was spotless, the pool was great (bartender Robert makes the BEST drinks in the area), hotel food was flavorful, breakfast was really good. The beach is rocky though, but a nice place to relax. Highly recommend. Exceeded my expectations.

Overall a nice stay, keycard for door stopped working and they quickly fixed it.. they dont have clean drinking water readily accessible.. except some water machine in the hotel room which has been inside it for god knows how long

Great location by the water, but they don't really have ocean view, partial view at best. Apartment like rooms,bwiyod be a great place for groups.

The room was spotless and the complementary breakfast was delicious. We had a concern with a bathroom balcony door that was addressed within 15 min of the management being informed.

Best value, excellent location in the center of colonial zone. Royal room king size bed very comfortable if you like a soft bed. Balcony is great, specially if you are a smoker. Room was very spacious. I would stay here again without hesitation.

The location and breakfast are very good, but the room has bad air conditioning and the humidity is very high.

This is my 5th stay at this hotel, and it continues to provide excellent customer service, and the staff are like family to me because they are awesome. The room is very large, clean and friendly environment. I look forward to returning to this hotel in the near future.

Overall its a Hotel well located, the área is in the Center of the colonial area, ver y busy and noisy at night. Hotel staff on average some were friendly and helpful but others didnt even care, lacking customer service. Specially one of the hotel porters, the receptionist told us that he would take care of our luggage, but he Just smirked and Just pointed where "we" had to put our luggage. Dont know...

The hotel needs a major renovation, but rooms are spacious and very clean. View (seaview top floor) is probably the best you can find in SD. Location is great. However, over the weekend parties for locals at the pool run late and a night club on the ground floor even later.

Nice location and quite cheap. Very helpful staff and nice servers at the Terrace. The pool is nice and the terrace has a nice view. Clean rooms. But the ac has only three settings, all of them ice cold, the bathroom fan is super loud, the music by the pool terrace is super loud and there is very little soundproofing. Quite old and a bit worn down. Okay value for money, but nothing more.

I been staying in this hotel many times. I can see how the breakfast selection is getting bad. No flavor always the same

Room was clean, staff polite and the best part was the Terrace /Pool/ Bar!! My family really enjoyed. Waitress did an extraordinary service, specially Ms. Iris.

This hotel is very clean, and I appreciated the convenient 1PM check-out time instead of the usual noon. The amenities are basic but sufficient, and the Wi-Fi is fast and reliable.

This was a wonderful experience, being treated like a VIP was new to me. Service was awesome. There were a few fixes w/Room, however they were taken care of quickly. Tito the bartender was a treat, Denise at the spa was amazing, front desk staff was courteous and professional. I will be back!

Everyone at this resort treated us with the utmost respect. We enjoyed it so much that we became members. So very glad thatvwe did as the upgraded restaurants were fantastic. We are very much looking forward to our next trip and many more to come with family and friends.

It was a delightful and relaxing trip. The resort is huge with so much to do. By the end of the week I started understanding the layout. You will do a lot of walking, which is good. All the staff are amazing and kind and courteous. Some of them serving food or drinks got more engaged in socializing with their peers or looking at their phones and we’re at times forgetful with drinks, but it didn’t bother...

I had a great stay at Presidential Suites by Lifestyle. The place is very comfortable and relaxing, with a nice atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well maintained. The staff was super friendly and always helpful, which really made the experience even better. Extremely well kept and maintained property, the staff truly seems to understand the whole ethos of hospitality.

The room was spotless, there was great courtesy, excellent service that went above and beyond.

Allow early check in if room is available. We arrived early but were not allowed to check in until exactly 3pm. They could be a little more lenient. Weary traveler just wanted to get to the room and rest.

The staff is very helpful, from the parking, the front desk, the restaurant. The room is small but clean, enough for me and my wife. The bed and pillows were find and an extra blanket was available there at the room, there is also a safe in the room for valuables.

Very nice staff and clean rooms. Okay for the price. Sink in the suite we stayed in did not work and there were no plates or microwave, so upgrading to the suite was a waste of money. Very convenient location.

They went above and beyond as I arrived early and they accommodated us with early check in was told go have breakfast and your room will be ready in an hour and it was . I would highly recommend.

New Garden is the best hotel in Sosua!!!! I’ve stayed at New Garden since last April of 2024 13 times. The hotel is clean close to both beaches and the Staff is the Best in Sosua. They treat me like family from the front desk to the waitress to Security and most importantly the house keeping Staff Who keeps the hotel clean. It’s safe and I hate to go but I will be back soon. Next Month or sooner

Very nice hotel. I enjoyed the structure due to ageless beauty of the building. However, this is not an updated new hotel. Not for people that require brand-new facilities as this is not that. Everything was clean and they worked hard to make the stay comfortable. I think for the price the lack of updating is forgivable.

This worked out well. The location is good and the rooms are decent. The service was good. Booked last minute on a Saturday night. So I really have no complaints. I would have liked a refrigerator but balcony was nice. Shower with hot water and pressure. It was not expensive.

Room wasn't cleaned before I arrived. The toilet was bone dry and did not work. I have stomach issues from the food I ate there. Seems like old food was served. I will not be back.

Property is not well kept. The view and the surroundings are beautiful but the rooms need work. Needs maintenance and better care. Room did not look clean. Refrigerator looked dirty. Shower felt like it was going to cave in and sink had a never ending leak. Water drops were like a torture through the night. You could also hear everything going on next door.

The property really needs a full renovation, most of the pools are in bad conditions. The estructures look old and out of maintenance. Food is good. Staff was nice.

Staff is good so far, but some issues with the room still waiting for someone to come to get it fixed

Customers waited for 1 hour for check-in. The room did not have air conditioning and changed room, the other room neither AC and only have a fan.

Nice hotel with very basic small rooms. Thin walls then you can hear everything, small refrigerator is included. It’s also very safe area located near to all tourist actrations. I enjoy the breakfast which is served at La Marchanta restaurant at Colon Park. It was very nice.

The staff was very courteous and although small the room was very clean and the bed quite comfortable. The hotel floors were extremely clean and shining and the pictures created a nice ambiance. It was a very short and enjoyable stay.

I love the room, but the pillow is thin and not thick enough. I wasn't comfortable sleeping because my neck got stiff. Also, please make sure the cleaner cleans the water tap to keep it shiny, and the window needs to be kept shiny.

Hotel La Casona Dorada certainly rolls out the red carpet with a great welcome! 🏨 Its good location and cleanliness are spot on. While the mosquitos in the rooms were tiny uninvited guests 🦟, a repellent needs to be installed. The pools and gym were a bonus 🏊‍♀️ Breakfast timing is not adhered to and perhaps a refresher course for some staff. Also, the nighttime noise and music runs till very late...

I like that the hotel is super quiet and the staff is friendly. But I went with my husband in the second floor to dine in the restaurant and the dinner took forever to come. After it arrived instead of eating there we take it to the room but at least it worth the wait ‘cause it was delicious. I would like to come back again.

Great location, great staff, the only issue i had was i spilled wine in my room and used the bath towel to clean it, don't do that, lol call. cleaning. If you stain the towels, they are nice & you'll have to pay for them, they're not cheap. I didn't like it but they the manager was so nice i hasn't mad

The hotel has great potential and is located right across a very nice beach. But I found two cockroaches on different days in our bedroom, and the master bedroom shower and jacuzzi did not work. Also, no hot water! We had to turn on and off the shower constantly to get hot water for a bath. Asked for a credit at the front desk for this and I was told that they were so sorry, but no credit. Definitely...

The warm welcome of the front desk , follow by a beautiful stunning suite, very clean ,sheets and towels had a fresh clean smell, i went for one night and decided to stay another one , fell in love with this place, thank you to all the staff , definitely will be back soon

They have a full kitchen, so you’re able to cook your own meals. Otherwise, right outside you have local restaurants that offer fresh fish.

We stood two nights villa 37. Our Villa was on the second floor ( no elevator) but it was okay we could manage. The villa has a private porch, the villa had a very authentic old school carribean feel. Bright colors. Spacious with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. All Villas are individually owned so this may differ from villa to villa. The pros: the space was very pretty and was clean. Two bathrooms...

Very good location to explore the Colonial area. Close to the park, entrance of the Conde. Safe, not fancy but good. All the essentials are there . A bit dated, but maintained. Roof top pool and roof top breakfast are very nice. Personnel helpful and nice. I'm been here few times and is always my first choice when I need to go in Town.

Everything was perfect for the agreed price. There were worse places in the area. I liked the lobby. No problems at all.

It is close to everything you need. Stores, restaurants, bars and pharmacies. The only issue I had was the lights in my room did not work. Other than that everything else was good.

Minus 1. Rook 316. Air conditioner not working. Remote screen broken and cannot see control panel. Couldn't change to another room as hotel was full. Had to sleep in room with fan only. 2. Fan didn't seem to work at first but staff managed to repair it. Working fan made loud noises. 3. No mirror in room. 4. One window faces inside of the house corridor the 2nd window is in toilet facing the outside...

Average. Good, but I found cockroaches in some rooms. I changed rooms and it was better. I will definitely return because of the location and the price. Best regards.
