They don't change towels daily, you have to keep asking for them to do it and it took them two days to do it, you have to pay for the electricity bill and the food isn't very varied.

The hotel is very old. The photos on the website aren't accurate, and the rooms smell strongly of damp. Everything is very neglected and rusty... I didn't take many pictures, but they're enough to show you. The area where it's located isn't nice either, but overall, I think Boca Chica is pretty run down.

Most of the staff were friendly. Security knocked on my door at 6am when my taxi to the airport arrived. Rooms are okay if not a little overpriced. Bed, TV and Aircon all good. We had an amazing stay at Figaro in Jan2021. The view is gorgeous for sure but the staff is also super friendly and willing to help! Liked stay at El Pelicano but the pool wasn’t as clean as I would have liked. My room was good couldn’t get the safe to work but overall clean. I would try another place next time but overall experience not bad. Beach is walkable not far from the hotel.

Ideal stay for business or work. I was with my colleague and we could share a space which facilitate our work but still have our privacy because each of us had our own bedroom. The other reviews saying you must go outside to the side to go to the restaurant/beach/pool is true so I might avoid the busy weekends. But overall the experience was great thanks to the friendly staff and good food + drinks at the restaurant. (Worth paying for vs all inclusive IMO) There is also staff watching over your things at the beach front when you’re swimming so it feels safe.

Several of the door latches to several rooms were completely off of the doors & I had to go looking with staff for a secure door that has a door latch on the securely lock the door so I would feel safe & secure & my belongings protected. That made me feel very unsafe. But they found a door with the latch on the lock so I decided to stay

The hotel is in a great location, however the facilities are old and some part of the lobby ceiling were broken and damaged. The curtains in the room were dirty and seems old. No complain about the staff, super attentive, specially the receptionist and the security guy. Brakefast was very good. With a little renovation this hotel will be excellent.
