My favourite activity (among the many possibilities) was the twice daily yoga classes offered by a professional instructor of the company NRG2GO

My last week at the Viva V Semana resort has been filled with wonderful experiences that I will remember and cherish for a long time

From the attentive staff to the beauty of the location itself, I have been more than satisfied with my stay here

Maybe for younger people is good, they can use the boards/surfs that the hotel offer for free. It is fun! Variety of food, abundant; but on my second day there I got sick. Si I loose 50% of my vacations feeling horrible

Transfer from airport to the hotel is very short 20 or 25 minutes Overall a good vacation, but I am not going back to DR, getting sick really cut my holidays in half

Ok resort - either twenty-somethings or older retirees for the most part. Food was excellent but service was not. If you don't speak French or Spanish, you will be ignored

The food and drinks were excellent—each meal was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared, and the beverage options, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, were equally impressive

They even recognized we had a favorite drink and offered it to us even before we had a chance to ask! The wait staff that worked at Baia, the pools, Sun Club and lounge spaces were always attentive and provided just the right mix of attentiveness without hovering

I love this private beach luxury property! We traveled there for our anniversary…and are glad we did! The staff and their attention to detail was outstanding! Our room was always maintained when we left the service request on our door

During the afternoons on the days the Sun Club was open, there was a DJ that played beach vibe music that was just loud enough to create a vibe without disturbing guests. The room we stayed in was wonderful

Very private and quiet location. Perfect if you are a group of people and prefer privacy. Very welcoming, affectionate, attentive, always willing to assist you and your family with anything you needed

We throughly enjoyed the fresh food options at Baia Lounge and the Sun Club. The breakfast buffet had something for everyone. The grill master that cooked on the beach and at the Sun Club is amazing

The atmosphere is unmatched—classy, historic, and full of charm—while the location is absolutely perfect in the heart of the Colonial Zone walkable distance to the best restaurants police guarding ever street it’s truly so safe and amazing

My parents and I have been coming to Hotel Nicolás de Ovando for 11 years, and we truly can’t stop coming back. Every visit feels just as special as the first

The staff make the experience unforgettable. Everyone is so friendly, attentive, and welcoming

To make matters worse, next morning breakfast was insufficient for the number of guests, and it appeared they were serving leftovers from the previous day’s event

Beautiful, yes, but disappointing service, with much left to be desired

The bartenders are especially kind and amiable, and I have to highlight the bar manager and Eric, who is not only incredibly attentive but also so funny and genuine—they always make us feel like family

Monkey and Skinny are the best. Constantly making you laugh and doing funny gestures. The beer tasted good except for the one keg was skunky. I think it was in the sun too long. Bartenders and drinks were awesome

A bit of a long wait at the snack bar so we went there when we needed a sun break. The chicken and burgers were awesome. Anne Marie in the buffet was always there to greet us in the morning with a big smile for breakfast

We ended up in a closer to everything room that was as nice but without the musty smell. We are enjoying it and it's belcony very much. The entertainment is very good, lot's to do here in and out of the rain

The pizza shop was excellent to and the icecream shop super yummy 😋 over all I would definitely recommend this resort, we're enjoying the last 5 days we've been here and look forward to the next 5 we are spending here until it'ime to go home

We've spent time in the sport's bar, lobby, outside of the sport's bar, the drinks are good everywhere, the Beach snack bar is close to the beach which is very convenient and there are also bathrooms there

The coffee shop is awesome and the sitting area outside of it is very nice to have to enjoy with your coffee and pastries or muffins or cake, all has been very good

It was truly a relaxing experience- from the amazing, friendly staff we got to know over the course of our stay, to our private pool in our villa, to the fantastic spa day we had (one of the best massages we have both had)

We had the best 3 days at the Eden Roc Cap Cana. Incredible hotel, service, beach, pool, food- amazing experience and will definitely be back! Our concierges Miguel and Braulio were incredible and went above and beyond

It was so fun having the golf cart to drive around cap cana, we stayed in the villa with a private pool which was incredible! The villa itself is a little dated in style but really beautiful and clean and so private, we loved it

I would say to skip the full board and just order everything a la carte I think we would’ve saved some money there just ordering individually because it is a ton of food, but you can’t go wrong either way

The beach is amazing! It has lots of waves so there’s no water sports or snorkeling on the beach at the hotel but it was incredible. Very very chill relaxed vibe at the hotel not at all a party vibe

We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Blue and it was all amazing! Highly recommend also ordering the beach snacks, was so great to have kosher food on the beach

Beautiful location on the beach and golf course. Rooms are old and vastly different from new condos there. But it's still a good hotel for the price. The restaurant and all staff are excellent, great food and service

We give Blue Jack Tar a very good rating. It will be excellent in a year (March 2026) when the construction, which we did hear from our room, is finished. Mostly it's paradise, the beach, the pool, the surrounding area

The room was comfortable and had a good view of the golf course. The service, especially at the restaurants, was fantastic. Easy access to the beach, and the chill music by the cabanas was relaxing.

Older facilities, but nice and clean. The facilities (room) was dated, but mostly worked fine. The restaurant was good/friendly/clean. The beach-side restaurant was under construction (being renovated).

The staff are very friendly and helpful! This hotel is older so one should expect to find an older pool, older sliding doors and bath tubs etc

Wonderful and beautiful resort with amazing staff. We were here for their Mother’s Day. The grilled buffet included seafood, ribs, fruit and vegetables. Delicious pastries available also

Very Nice place! The beach was incredible, we had a room with private pool, it was quite big. The staff was very friendly too. Would definitely come Back!

Breakfast at the Bamboo restaurant is great. Dinner at Bamboo, the Grill and La Yoga are worth mentioning also. Good options for getting around the resort, and beyond, with bicycles and the golf caddy

We recently spent a luxurious week at Tortuga Bay Puntacana resort. It was magical! The grounds were stunning and impeccably maintained, the accommodations were amazing. spacious, immaculately clean and very comfortable

I highly recommend this Tortuga Bay Punta Cana and cannot wait to come back and bring my entire family. The food was amazing and the kids loved the golf cart. I would give this more than 5 stars if I could

I wish I could have this service for every country we travel to as it made the arrival process so smooth. After about 20 minutes, our driver Julio drove us to the resort and explained points of interest along the way

The service was top notch and every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly and attentive. The spa and golf courses were fantastic as well

The property is beautiful and perfectly kept, our accommodations were spacious, beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean, the food is fresh, of high quality and delicious! The service was understated but incredible - not in your face but it felt like our wish was their demand

Good overall location and the refurbishment since the last time I stayed is a huge eye-opener. Good to see more investments going into the area El Conde as the place was going into decline.

Good location in the heart of the old town. Parking garage is a plus, if it is not full (small). Rooms in the old wing are small

Nice please with kindly staff. Near to restaurants and historical sites like the Columbus park and El Conde street. Good breakfast and staff 24/7.

The service at Gran hotel Europa is focused in customer service; the staff was always willing to satisfy our request, in particular during breakfast time; they were always smiling and doing their best to please us

The breakfast is awesome and on the roof top from where you oversee not only the river ozama but as well parts of the old town up to the Farro Colón

The location of the hotel is the best place to see the beautiful old city around. be very clean and kind

On a positive note, the management was excellent. We were upgraded to a better room after the initial one was not cleaned properly. Alex, the supervisor, was particularly considerate

Leonel was an amazing hotel animator! Always smiling, full of positive energy, and incredibly engaging with guests. He made every activity fun and made everyone feel included

We went there Dec 2024 and forgot to post a review. Here i am to do it now- we had a wonderful experience. Food was delicious in the buffet and in the specialty restaurants as well

The resort grounds were beautiful and well kept, they generously upgraded our room and many of our guests that came as well, the food was good and different each day (snack bar had amazing food and air conditioned) the service at bars and restaurants lacked (extremely slow/no desire to work) but my wedding day was absolutely perfect

Entertainment crew is super friendly and very engaging. Spicy, Maria, Jeffery, yarlis, and myrobi, made are stay great and always kept Us entertained pool side

Great experience at Serenade this week. The food was better than we expected (highly recommend the sushi!), the drinks were good (especially the main bar in the lobby!) the pools were great, and the beach was beautiful

The location is perfect, there is an amazing beach with a lot of sun loungers available. The main restaurant is great, food variety and service are beyond any expectations

Visited this resort in September 2025, not bad overall, but a lot of things to improve especially in comparison with the others Iberostar selection resorts

Thee property was beautifull, rooms nice and spacious. There was not much beach area and very crowded, pools were in much need of update on tile & plaster.

Excellent location, staff were super attentive, answered all our questions immediately both before arrival and while staying. The room was stunning, ours came with a little pool which was a lovely touch

Good potential but a service of a 3 star hotel

We split our stay between two places and needless to say we had wished we stayed at Casas Del XVI the entire time. It felt so intimate and nice. Our other stay left us a bit disappointed

Unforgettable stay in Santiago I stayed at this hotel with a direct view of the Monument to the Heroes of the Restoration, and it was simply amazing. The place is spotless, with comfortable and well-kept rooms

The shower head in my room was broken, the safe box didn’t work and the windows in my room seemed to be broken as I could hear all the noise from the street… there is not gym available ! I wasn’t planning on working out there but I just stopped by to check out the gym facilities and couldn’t believe my eyes

Room was very humid with slightly musty smell and very hard bed. Window did not open by design. Room air conditioner was weak but kept just barely comfortable

That should not be called a gym! To sum it all up, it was an okay hotel to just spend the night as my final destination was Punta Cana …

The key doesn’t work and we needed to ask the receptionist every time to get into the room

Our butler, Edward was attentive and helpful and very friendly! Elin, was our server and bartender throughout our stay and she made the trip! So happy to help and great to be around! The entertainment staff, especially Kendall and Jesus, were so engaging and cheerful! Resort was clean and provided everything we needed for a great vacation! We will definitely be back!

We had an amazing stay at TRS Turquesa in Punta Cana. Everything about the experience was excellent. Our butler Edward was the absolute best

This is our second time at Trs in 2 years and we absolutely loved it. The beach is amazing, the rooms are super nice, the food options are great but the service is the best part. All the staff is very nice and welcoming

We tried Helios by the beach, Kusko which serves Japanese and Peruvian fusion cuisine, La Boheme which offers beautiful French dishes, Capricho for international options, and El Dorado Steak House in the adjoining Palladium area

Having your own butler is a big plus as they help you book excursions/activities and get you anything you need to make your stay better. Big shoutout to Rodney and Cesareo these guys were amazing

Gets 5 stars for location! Beautiful property with a great restaurant and swimming pool. Fun for families. Playground for children along with billiards and ping pong tables. Friendly staff.

Great location by the water, but they don't really have ocean view, partial view at best. Apartment like rooms,bwiyod be a great place for groups.

My mid September 2025 stay was such a pleasant surprise. So often in some of these stays the water pressure and temps vary, the A/C falls short of spotty electric service. Hotel Alisei never disappointed

Best value, excellent location in the center of colonial zone. Royal room king size bed very comfortable if you like a soft bed. Balcony is great, specially if you are a smoker. I would stay here again without hesitation

The location and breakfast are very good, but the room has bad air conditioning and the humidity is very high.

Breakfast supplied is ample and of decent quality, food for linch or dinner in the hotel restaurant is good though limited menu, space for seating is very limited inside the restaurant, water pressure in the shower is excellent the room safe is large

Katherine Is the one of the family owner of platino hotel and casino, Katherine is amazing person who loved to make sure that her clients are in good hand, Mrs Katherine has done a wonderful job since I was there, there was a client who ask for her opinion in a matter where she literally took her time out of her busy schedule and communicate with the client
